The assistant store manager menjou known as MJ is a scam artist! I went to this location to get a tune up! Tuneups normally consist of changing spark plugs and engine coils etc. This Established does not state to customers before hand That tuneups at Midas Only consist of changing spark plugs. When I was told my initial quote with the thought in my mind that coils and spark plugs are being replaced the initial quote was $425. I drop my car off and I get a call from MJ stating that my bill would go up to $560 because he had to change a top Plenum gasket. And it would be labor on top of that. I said to him wouldn't that be charging me double labor because my car is already open? He began to over talk me and explain a whole bunch mechanic talk that I have no idea. When I pick my car up he gave me a $30 discount in my total came down to $520. Now with a thought in my mind that I have a. New top Plenum gasket and I have new spark plugs and coils! I leave the location two days later my check engine light comes on and at AAMCO they let me know that the only thing that they did was change six spark plugs and put a new Plenum gasket which I found out is a flimsy small gasket that they charge me $27 for!! So I call Midas because to my surprise I was unaware that coils were not being changed MJ explained that all they did was change the spark plugs and confirm that no coils were changed! So for $560 with a $30 discount I got six spark plugs change and a top plenum gasket put on my car. AAMCO let me know that I was scammed. So I start calling other Midas I called the one in Catonsville the one in Baltimore and was told that to change spark plugs on my car would run from anywhere to $300-$360 at their locations and they could not understand how my bill made it to $560! To my surprise when I went back to my original Midas they charge me $33.80 per spark plug for a Nissan Maxima 2012. I called Pep Boys and asked what's the standard spark plug to be put into my car and what price range they told me that the standard iudium spark plug are 699 apiece. I'm livid with MJ at this point he tells me that he puts the higher-quality spark plug in my car without my permission and tells me that he does everything by the book that is given in my car so I go to my car and get my book and nowhere in the book of my car states that I have to have high-quality spark plugs for my engine. He scammed me because I was a female and offered me free oil change and to take the spark plugs out of my car and put mine in now I'm inconvenience and missing days of work ! But it all gets worse yesterday after I left that establishment I started getting threatening phone calls from unknown numbers blocked numbers fake numbers that if you call them back it would say that the number was not in service and I'm pretty sure that MJ has a lot to do with it! This man has my personal information and has my cell phone number I have never been threatened or harassed on my phone ever before. I would never get your car repaired at this location! Find a honest Midas Update! I go back in there establishment with the spark plugs I purchased that I was told by MJ that he would put in. I was told by the store manager David that they are not putting them in so I wasted even more money! Then he told me that he isn't going to refund me my money unless I sign a paper so I won't take them to court! I don't feel comfortable doing that so I didn't sign in nicer words I was told to get out and he won't help me! Not only was I over charged then I bought and have spark plugs that I wasted money on not to mention they still owe me money! Apparently the owner of this establishment doesn't want to help or resolve my issue! They have a man who served time Bestfriend with the store manager so of course I'm getting no help! Keeping my money is better then having customers happy and coming back! I'll never go to another Midas again!

Yikes!!!! That is usually followed by: run for the hills. I had a boycott of Midas for many years because they were horrible where I used to live. They were costly Ripoffs! So, when I came to this one I was so apprehensive. I then ran into the assistant manager "MJ" and he gave me information without stress or pressure to fix my car. I decided to come back the next day and the same guy was there ready to help and honor what he initially told me. I was so impressed by the professionalism and care for the customer. The staff was on point and appeared to respond well to each other. The car was fixed with suggestions for future maintenance with no up sales or tactics. He made me feel like I wanted to come back to the store and get everything else fixed. They have changed my mind about all the years I didn't go to Midas. Great job fellas and keep up the great work! I hope this wasnt a fluke and the service doesnt change.

2nd Time coming in here... The people are nice. I researched fair prices for the area before I came in and they were right in line with that. All in all a good shop. I will return for sure

Today I had to stand around for a while before someone could help me. But once they did, they were fast and efficient. The first time, they replaced one of my tires and disposed of the old one. It was done quickly and at a fair price. This time, I came in because my tire pressure light was on. They checked everything, topped off the air, and had me back in my car in less than 10 minutes--at no charge. Solid, trustworthy spot. I'll definitely keep coming back when I need tire help.

I have been using Maryland tire & Auto for a few years now. I have never had an issue until today…read more I only come here to have tires changed on my vehicle. The pricing is very fair. however, today was a different story I called prior to coming in and was told they be closing. I needed to be here by 12:30 if I wanted to have my tire installed. No problem let them know. I could be there. I get here thanks for my key and trying to take my key off my ring his phone rings.. this is where things go downhill he goes to the back and takes his call saying nothing to me. comes back helps another customer that just walked in behind me while I'm standing at the counter sidenote, yes I was on my phone. out of common courtesy i put my phone down to give me key over. never took the key however another individual comes to tell me that he's not going to take my key because I'm on the phone. Not once did he communicate with me that he was waiting for me to finish my call or he could only help me when I wasn't on the phone. I let him know that it's called common courtesy when he asked me for my key his phone wrong. He went into the back, took his call. I didn't complain. I didn't say anything however, never once did he mention he was waiting for me to complete my call in order to proceed with helping me. I asked why he did not say anything to me and was told have work to do. Yes, that is true but communication is key. Let me know your waiting on me the key was on the counter the whole time. They do good fast work here but the customer service is Terrible! Front desk needs to learn how to speak to others and not ignore someone standing in front of them.This could have be rectified very quickly if communication of the issue was discussed. Thanks for the years of help but this incident puts a bad taste in my mouth. Fix the communication issues to avoid frustrated customers and misunderstandings. I love supporting small businesses however this event really makes me question if I want to spend money in this establishment! on my way out just found out that that individual is also the manager. This gives me little hope that issues like this can ever be rectified.

When I arrived at Tires Plus, Estefani at the front desk provided exceptional customer service--professional, friendly, and quick to help. Ed immediately took my car into the garage and had me back on the road in under 30 minutes. It's rare to find a team that combines efficiency, skill, and genuine care for customers. Estefani and Ed turned a frustrating morning into a smooth, stress-free experience. I'll definitely be returning for future service and recommending this location to others.

BUT, the issue is that the woman who was "helping" me couldn't tell me what was wrong with my car. I got it towed there because my tire was flat. 1 tire. When I got a call back from her all she said was "you need a new one". Okay.. why? Is there a nail, or something puncturing the tire, can we patch it, what? "uhh welll it's got sidewall issues and it's bald so you need all 4 tires replaced". Okay... so we can't patch it? "uhh we just recommend cause they are all bald to replace them." Train your people better. Safe to say I had my car sent to Mr. Tire down the street because this whole exchange (not even worried about the phone/computer system being down) was AWFUL. Do better.
