These guys are first-rate and love trees. They did two homes for me. My trees look and feel great at both locations. Tree Weaver was recommended by another highly-rated arborist who doesn't service my area. I loved that Damien and Jackson are certified arborists who personally work right along with the rest of their team (compared to lots of companies whose arborist you don't see after the first visit). Sometimes my trees have looked scalped after trimming, but Tree Weaver made them look totally natural, even though they were trimmed plenty. They cleanup up perfectly when they were done. Met with Dorian to discuss possibility of getting more light on my grass. I had already met with at least 2 other companies who were happy to do it for around $1000. Dorian assessed my situation and informed me that while I could trim the trees I felt were in the way, I would really only be able to increase the light by about 30 minutes a day. He showed me how, given the position of the sun in relation to the trees I'd have to take out huge portions of two trees to get any increase in light. He also explained some of the other issues involved such as the fact that live oaks emit a sort of growth inhibitor or poison from their roots to prevent other plants from growing in it's canape and becoming competition. Anyway, Dorian was very knowledgeable, sighting A&M studies to back up his information. Further he turned down a decent size job because he didn't believe I would get the results I desired. I don't know what he would have charged, but for my money it would be worth it given the confidence I have that he would be doing what's right for the trees, right for me and no more or less. read more

Dorian pruned and cut down a few trees for us back in 2006 and did a great job, but as new homeowners we did not bother getting other estimates. We called Treeweaver again to get an opinion on a tree that potentially needed to be removed and to prune another tree. I decided this time around to actually get other estimates and opinions since the tree that potentially needed to be removed is a favorite. I got 3 very different opinions and estimates on what should be done, so I called Don Gardener, the consulting Arborist. Jackson from Treeweaver was the most in line with the leading tree expert in our area and had the lowest price for the work to be done. They were able to fit us into their schedule earlier than expected, were punctual and easy to communicate with and the big bonus was that they left our yard cleaner than before they arrived. read more

I was recommended to Dorian by a neighbor who said he really cares about the trees. The one thing that stood out for me from the get go was Dorian's attention to detail. When he came out to my house for the initial estimate he made sure to close and lock the gate behind him without me asking. I knew that he would have great attention to detail and respect for my trees--and he does. He won't remove too much as to not damage the tree, but enough to get the job done. As for the actual work, I cannot sing their praises enough! These gentlemen love what they do--it really shows. They were singing and whistling while up in my trees and did such a beautiful job. I'm in shock (in a good way) because the front of my house used to look like a forest/jungle, now it looks so clean and well manicured. They cleaned up after themselves like a well oiled machine. After being impressed with some tree trimming Dorian did for us, my husband and I hired Treeweaver to remove about six large ailanthus trees ("trees of heaven") and do some additional pruning of our huge old pecan trees. We were blown away by his professionalism -- he's super likable and easy to communicate with. He and his crew arrived exactly on time at 7:30 am and worked swiftly until about 4:30 pm, leaving us a neat pile of mulch and no tree detritus in the yard. He offered to leave us the mulch, which other companies don't always do. If his clients don't keep their mulch, he donates it to a local dog park. The price seemed totally reasonable -- $840 for a full day of removing trees, chopping them into logs, mulching them, pruning our other trees, and cleaning up the yard. We'd use Treeweaver again in a heartbeat! read more

Treeweaver is a small business, just the owners, Dorian and Jackson, and two helpers. Dorian and Jackson are both certified arborists and they do their own work. I called for an estimate and Dorian answered and made an appointment for about a week later. Jackson showed up a little early and we went around the house and discussed each tree. I was impressed with Jackson's knowledge and his care for the trees. He gave me a written estimate that included the full price which was significantly less than others I'd gotten and, in fact, paid in the past. We set a date for less than week later. Dorian was on vacation, but Jackson and the two helpers showed up on time, cautioned us to be careful if we came outside, and then set to work. Three hours later the job was done exactly as we'd discussed. There was a branch on one tree overhanging my neighbor's property that he hadn't done because he didn't want to trespass in my neighbor's yard. I gave him the okay to do it, and the job was done. Jackson had to leave to give an estimate, but his helpers stayed and cleaned everything up to perfection. We have several live oaks around our small house that come into conflict with the house every couple of years. I've used four other services and have been dissatisfied with all of them for one reason or another. Jackson's knowledge, punctuality, and skill left nothing to be desired. I hope they stay in business a long time. As long as they are, they'll have me as a customer. I can't recommend them enough. read more
