Quick response time. Fair pricing. Cleaned up well after themselves. I had 4 big maple trees to take down with not a lot of room to do it. The guys did some precision work and felled the trees with no problem.

Great service and really nice crew! I had an oak tree that was dying from the top down from some kind of root ailment. I felt it best to take it down before it got really bad (and likely, more dangerous for anyone trying to remove it). Daniel did a great job. The crew was fabulous and left my yard and driveway spotless! When I received my bill, I also received an estimate and the name of a company that does stump grinding. The cost was very reasonable so I will be contacting them. One of my neighbors asked if they could trim some large branches from a fir tree. The price they quoted was reasonable so now they are one street doing some work for him. Can't beat that kind of service! I highly recommend them if you want a job well done, a good price, a nice job of cleaning up at the end, and a really professional crew.

You can see Mt. Hood from this Oak Tree

Lots of companies give estimates, but only All About Trees shows up ready to work. First they make sure they have the best estimate, next they start working and in less than 2 hours, the job is completed. By job, I mean climbing two 75 foot Oak Trees and trimming a total of 25 large broken branches and doing it all for $500. Watching Gorden Grimes climb the trees, arrange the ropes, and make the cuts was more entertaining than anything I've done this month. I learned a lot just watching his bean bag throwing technique that I will be able to use myself. This is a family owned business that works Multnomah, Clackamas, Columbia, and Washington Counties. Licensed, Bonded and fully Insured. Contact them by phone, 877-873-3769, by email: allabouttreespnw@gmail.com or on at www.treepnw.com

Daniel gave me a fair quote and within a few days, was out to take down my razor-leaf ash in my front yard that was in poor condition. Daniel was polite, professional and quickly took the tree down and cut the larger pieces up. Thank you!

These guys are terrific. I had no less than 4 quotes completed for tree trimming on four maples; All About Trees was the most competitive and was able to come out and do the trimming immediately (some companies were asking me to wait until late August/September). Tennelle, at the office (who also is extremely efficient!), confirmed our time for estimate and Daniel came out within the week. He is clearly extremely knowledgeable about trees and understood exactly what we needed to have done (clearance from our house for fire-proofing purposes). The best part is when we confirmed we wanted to work with All About Trees, they were able to schedule something within two days! Two days! Daniel came out and was super-efficient. The clean up was superb and all the trimming and clean-up was done within 2-2.5 hours tops. I will be continuing to call this team for tree help in the future.

This is the before picture of the plum tree that was making a mess and would bring bugs to the yard.

Daniel came out for a consultation and it was so nice working with an arborist with so much knowledge.

We discussed the possible issues regarding city tree removal permitting, site specific challenges etc. and received a quote of $2700 to remove the tree and grind the stump. I filled out and returned the permit application and waited for city approval. Approx. 6 weeks later I got a call from Evergreen and was told the city denied my permit for a few reasons but that they would allow a structural pruning and gave me a quote for two trees witch was almost as much as the one tree removal. I went ahead and approved the work and gave a deposit. Later I sent an email to the city arborist asking for clarity on why the permit was denied and was told their office had no record of the denial yet. I was a bit annoyed that Evergreen made it sound like the denial was a done deal and scheduled the pruning before any official denial was recorded or given to me directly by the city. I would have waited until it was officially denied in writing before proceeding. If there was any chance that the permit had been approved I likely would have had to eat the pruning cost for the one tree AND paid the removal cost later.

They basically lied to me and talked me into a structural prune instead. The city did NOT deny my permit at that time but instead requested additional info from Evergreen which was never received . As of now the permit has expired. My guess is Evergreen did not want to take the time to satisfy the city request at the bid price and just wanted to move on. The whole purpose of wanting the tree removed was to facilitate a sidewalk repair so I have spent $2100 on pruning 2 trees and still have a busted sidewalk to deal with somehow. Thanks.

Mossy trimmed all trees, some large 4-story tall, gangly pear trees, and others on 3 streets lining the building perimeter (almost a block). Pros: - arborist (Andy) bid work and on sight supervised work - bids competitive with 3 other companies checked - office (Ann) arranged city permits in a timely manner - office coordinated and scheduled work - team trimmed trees and cleaned up debris - branches chipped, chopped and composted on their rig Will count on Mossy again!

Based on the numerous five star reviews posted here I'm sure I would be quite happy with the work they do. Unfortunately, MTC was the highest bidder (by far) so I really had to go with a more economical choice. Found a small, local company with a great arborist who bid well under 1/2 what MTC was asking. So, if you are price conscious you might want to look at obtaining several quotes. If your prime objective is great service from staff and a great outcome from the crew who does the work, I'm sure you will be happy with these guys. Even though I wound up choosing a different company I felt that anything short of a five star review would be inappropriate since I was totally happy with the treatment I received from everyone working there.

I contacted NW Tree Work based off all the fantastic reviews here. When initially meeting with John…read moreI was told that the project would be done within an hour of there set date. The project being a tree removal, as well planting within a foot away (due to sprinklers only being able to reach so far). With that being said I had set a time and date with them to do the job. I ordered the tree for delivery the day prior, but once the day came for the job it was a no show. Concerned, I contacted NW Tree Work to see what was going on. Turns out they are short staff. I'm pretty reasonable so I go ahead and try to reschedule. This time, I'm told the job is more complex so a new date is set. Once the new date rolls around, again, no show. At this point I'm constantly contacting NW Tree Work to the point they are reading my messages but not replying. I have to call every single time to get a hold of someone, to which I'm told I will get a reply later in the day, and to which I don't. It takes me contacting each day to try and reschedule only to be told a date the project will get done by and for someone to not show up. Big waste of time. On top of that, when speaking to John he assured me the prior weekend he'd get the job done and not only that move the tree out of public view and water it so it's okay. Sadly, none of that ever happened or came into fruition, the trees flowers started dying off due to it not being properly taken care of which it would have been had it been planted as planned. Ultimately this lead to a lot of back and forth. Whether its short-staffed or health related issues, telling a customer a date you're going to get the job done and continuously bailing is not the right response to do. The kicker was John calling me later that day to tell me how to give more trust and understanding to professionals and how delays happen and it's all normal. How about building that trust with customers first by not bailing on them multiple times over and over again, then we can have that conversation. Aside from all the negatives, I can give them credit for at least reimbursing me on the tree (though they only would if they ended up taking it). I'm not typically one to leave reviews, but I think it's important for anybody else on this platform to be informed with what potential risks you have working with certain companies. Emotions aside, this is just my personal experience with the company and for that I would not recommend them moving forward.
