    Ube cold brew
    Jenelle S.

Was in town for a wedding but had some time to kill and I discovered Tree Lounge Coffee. Decided to try their ube cold brew because as a Filipina, I like to test out Ube treats and drinks when I check out a new place. Turns out I'm a good judge of character because one look at the interior of the place and I had a feeling that whatever I tried would be good. To my surprise the ube flavor was actually there, very present and the consistency of the drink itself was smooth and creamy. It didn't taste fake if you know what I mean. Sometimes when places of business throw ube on the menu, it's hit or miss. Ube is not trendy, it's an actual flavor that Filipinos generally love and are good at using so I was very happy this drink wasn't a disappointment. The shop is eclectic, artsy, and whimsical. I love the pieces of art they have on display and I'm glad I was able to stop by! If I'm ever in Camarillo again I'll definitely pop back in. Who knew that Camarillo would even have a Filipino flavored anything?

Stopped by Tree Lounge Coffee and tried the Island Latte made with macadamia milk--so good! The flavor was smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced without being overly sweet. The macadamia milk gave it a creamy texture that made the drink stand out from a typical latte. Great coffee, friendly service, and a relaxing atmosphere. I'll definitely be back for another one!

Brown Bear with coconut milk and added vanilla cold foam for fun

Tree Lounge Cafe has gone through changes over the years. I believe the last 5 years it's been the same consistent owners, father & son team. Their coffees are fun and give you that kick you're looking for. I'm a fan of the Brown Bear and Winnie the Pooh. You can make milk changes and add cold foam if that floats your boat. They have various pastries and carry the empanadas that other places have. Every time I'm in there the service is great. We love coming here before or after Dizdar playground (next door) for some goodies. They have a long table with coloring supplies which is a huge win with the kids! So smart and helpful! The walls are covered in art, some for sale. It's a unique spot showcasing local artists. I've seen people post up there and utilize the WiFi. My most recent visit I noticed they changed where the register is and it makes everything flow so much better. Overall a great spot to stop in for a pick-me-up, before the park, art gazing, or work time.

I'd been wanting to try this place for a few years now and I finally did. It was honestly even better than I expected! I got the brown bear latte and it was so good! Reminded me a lot of the brown sugar shaken espresso from Starbucks hehe. Very good place with pleasant vegan options! The drawing table inside was so cute I loved it

Blaring AC, beautiful local cafe, and lots of local artworks displayed on the walls. Perfect on any day to cozy up here and sip some drinks while doing some work or studying. The prices are very reasonable and the hot drinks are also very hot. The cups are so hot to touch so maybe using napkins is best to hold them. I had a hoodie on in here from how cool it was!!! Free wifi that worked very well. Staff were pretty attentive and friendly. We parked at the side of the streets, but there was also a lot and it wasn't too hard to find a spot!!! Lots of local businesses in the area, beautiful area to stroll through. Customer bathroom in the back. What more to ask for!!!

Finally made it in, and so glad I did. Quaint local coffeeshop. It offers options from coffee to lattes to hot chocolate and chai. There is also a small selection of baked goods. Small but there are a few chairs inside. Local art on the walls. It's perfect if you're looking for a place to relax and catch up with a friend or treat yourself. To the weirdo who had to sit on top of my friend and I outside so you could suck up the WiFi, you're an a**hole. There was a reason that space had no tables or a chair! So tired of vapid people who purchase nothing and take up space to appease their needs.

    Brown Bear Iced Latte

Stopped on my way back from San Luis Obispo to San Diego. Coffee was good, place is cute. I asked the server for a recommendation - told her I liked sweet drinks- and she said most their drinks are not sweet and didn't really recommend anything. Anyway, I went with the Brown Bear Latte which was good. Cinnamon flavor was strong but not overpowering. I would come back.

Tree lounge coffee is where you want to go to relax and enjoy a good coffee in Old Town. They have parking in the front, but it is a bust shopping area and you might have to park on a side street. It is worth the short walk. Inside they have pastries and a large selection of coffee and tea. Every coffee I have ordered here was amazing. There is ample seating inside and has a nice open feeling. I know they have a roof area to sit, but it was raining when I went. I had the Peppermint Mocha and so good, so smooth. It was delicious. Clean shop, lots of art on the wall to enjoy, or try your own with the supplies available.

Love this little hidden gem. I go here specifically for the Iced Kona with oatmilk. Delicious, creamy, and just the right amount of coconut syrup to make you feel like you're on the island! Service is quick, and friendly.

    A bit burnt tasting
    Lennart G.

Ordered the Kona and 2 beef potato empanadas. Ended up being out of the 2 beef empanadas and got 2 bacon potato instead. Waited about 20-25 minutes and the person forgot about the empanadas. He ran them through the oven again and came out burnt. Definitely would not order again. Overall, experience was not very great for how empty it was.

    Brown sugar latte
    Jasmine P.

Sure cute and artsy cafe. Love the art! I ordered a brown sugar latte which I enjoyed! Not too sweet and a refreshing coffee taste compared to the big chains. The place is a nice sit down to meet others or to even work alone. There is an outdoor and indoor section. Also have a few games available and crayons/ pencils to get creative. I just wasn't super thrilled about the customer service. I expected a bit more warmth from a local place like this. But they didn't seem friendly and more interesting in talking to each other. She rang up my order and didn't even ask if we wanted anything else. I could have but didn't even feel like it from this vibe. Wanted to buy a pastry for my kid. To be honest not very many options there anyway. Mostly looked like heavy sugar items. Overall, good coffee and overall vibe of the place. I'll come back to check it out again and see if the attitude of the people are truly that way or just my one experience

Brown bear latte 10/10 Not too sweet not too bitter just a perfect balance And This guava and cheese pastry is to die for
    Jenny L.

A hidden gem if I say so myself, the drink I ordered was amazing ( Brown Bear ) and the guava and cheese is amazing. It's also such a relaxing spot will definitely be coming back and recommending!

    Overflowing trash in the background
    Joseph G.

Been meaning to try this spot... absolutely love local coffee juice joints. Loved the local art displayed all over the place. My drink: I ordered the iced Matcha and Espresso shot. I had never seen this option before and I truly enjoyed it. I did add lavender to the drink which added a clear hint of calm to the espresso. The only suggestion I can think of is I hope they add a recycle option to the trash. Sitting enjoying my drink while staring at an over flowing small trash can was not appealing to the eyes. The amount of plastic wasted was sad. Hopefully this suggestion helps add another option for disposal of trash.

REVIEW: First timer to the location in Cam! To know me is to know that I am obsessed with their brown butter toffee cookies. I have been known to clear out the inventory at the Ventura (mall) location, #sorrynotsorry. They are THAT good. Trust me. So, this order was to go, but the inside seemed airy and open, loved the open vibe. There's a good amount of outside seating too, so if that's your preference, I would choose that option. (It's better than sitting outside at the Ventura Mall location, IMO). The employees were basic, that's OK. I don't expect much in 2026. No pics as the cookies were packed away in my bag asap. But, I'll be back! It was a fine-enough visit. Thanks!

The pumpkin is pronounced and this drink it's perfectly sweet. The chai is flavorful without being too much. Loved the cream topper, it's a classic fall drink done right. ICED BEETLEJUICE LIMEADE: For the non-coffee drinker or little ones - this tart and fun limeade hit the spot. The drink couldn't be cuter with the gummy worms and candies on top. Such a fun drink! I love supporting local small businesses and I'd rather put my money towards an independent Local business woman making stellar coffee drinks then paying more money to go to a chain with long lines and no unique drink drinks. I felt like the prices were very reasonable, the large drinks seem to run about $7 give or take, but it depends what you get. Definitely will be coming back!
