Finally a coffee shop with a variety of chai tea options and gluten free + vegan baked goodies! I had so many options to choose from but ended up with the cinnamon roll, had it warmed up too. It made my insides happy, I will definitely be back to try more baked goodies. I also grabbed a honey chai with almond milk, I liked the hint of honey in it but it was really watered down, kinda bummed cause I paid an extra $1.30 for almond milk and felt like it was a splash of it with watery chai. This coffee shop also has a variety of espresso and coffee drinks, gelato, and chocolate truffles. A boutique off the side to shop some local goodies. It does get busy on the weekend, so be prepared to stand out the door. Some seating inside and large patio outside on main.

We arrived at Palermo about 10 minutes before closing, and I have to say, the staff was amazing! Even though they were getting ready to close, they were in great spirits, super friendly, and never rushed us with our order. I had a decaf caffè latte and a two-scoop gelato -- Coppa Mista and Mint Chip -- both were absolutely delicious! They also have a cute little souvenir shop inside, which we didn't have time to browse, but we'll definitely check it out on our next visit. We grabbed some carrot cake bars to go as well, which was a nice treat for later. Tip: If you want to add a tip to your card, let them know before they process the payment. It doesn't show on the screen, and you can't add it afterward -- we ended up placing a second order to leave a tip and pick up those carrot cake bars. Great service, great vibe, and great gelato -- we'll definitely be back!

I'm really happy to see this place is still around because I used to come here all the time ack when I was at the JC. Love their gelatos, coffee, all the fun gifts and stationary they sell! Service was on point! Seems like everyone gets along and work well together so that's always fun to see when going places! Please don't ever go out of business

Another great visit to Ventura, and Palermo's is one reason why! They are so very friendly, make wonderful espressos and eats, have an excellent selection of merchandise and don't get me started about the gelato and truffles. This place will tempt you to break all your new year's resolutions. Located on Main Street with free public parking down the street. They have clean bathrooms available to customers. While there, I observed so many locals come in and pick up their orders. Great place, great people and wonderful atmosphere!

I'm with my mom on a road trip for her 93rd birthday. She's enjoying her latte as we watch all the people come and go with their dogs. Gotta love dog-friendly businesses. A nice gift shop, good coffee, and cute dogs coming and going. Couldn't ask for a better experience!

Another great drink. This was my first iced drink here. I got the Jack-o-pattern chai. Simply great for fall even though it's not officially fall yet.

Especially blessed experience on this misty afternoon. It was quite busy but I received my drink relatively quickly. Went for their Jack-o-lantern hot drink with almond milk (tiger chai latte with pumpkin & turmeric) which was perfect for chilly fall days. Was also tempted by their incredible chocolates, of which I selected the sundae truffle. Humongous truffle that took several bites to get through, and each bite was richly fantastic. Creamy, nougaty(?) center covered in dark chocolate with a cute little sundae whip, crushed nuts, & cherry design on top (a red jelly bean. Adorable). Wander through the warmly lit store and admire the gourmet accessories while you wait, and then enjoy your latte, truffles, or gelato!

Palermo is a coffee spot in downtown Ventura, offering a diverse array of sweet treats and goodies. While awaiting your beverage, you can proceed to the back of the shop to explore their inventory. It is a charming coffee shop to grab coffee, sweets, and socialize with others in the front area, watching the passersby and basking in the sunshine. Location is perfect. Especially as there's lots of thrift shopping to do, you can easily power up before finding more treasures.

Nice coffeehouse on main in Ventura. Limited seating. There is a novelty store in the rear. Good Coffee comfortable seating friendly staff. Long line on 4th of July but staff is doing an awesome job keeping it moving.

Starting as a variety type store, but they have branched out to coffees, teas and ice cream. Bring a warm beach day; we came for the ice cream. The staff was friendly and helpful. We made our way past the coffee area and variety part of the store, to the ice cream counter, see my pics. You can see their selection is a bit limited. But as you can see from our cup of ice cream, it was creamy and full of goodies. We enjoyed the outside seating and warm sun, with our ice cream.

The inside of this place was very cute The staff was very friendly and helpful The only thing that wasn't my favorite was the coffee itself It was a little too bold and bitter for my tasting However, I know some people like that so I can't fault it. I'm sure the coffee was good for someone

Great spot for coffee/tea. A Ventura classic. They also have the cutest things in their gift shop area which is very seasonal. Yes, Sugarfina candy and all the amazing voluspa candles. Their coffee is good as they serve beacon (local here in Ventura). Never disappoints and the pups loved their pup cups!

Hi, they do not ship out but they get their coffee from Beacon Coffee in Ventura. You might want to check with them.

Home goods and gifts this store really has it all. I also appreciate the layout and that items are kind of categorized by theme or item. For example, where I first walked in they had two tables filled with beachy items. Pillows, wall decor, stickers, mugs, candles you name it. Really convenient when you have a theme or idea in mind and they have an entire table dedicated to those items. In the back were the cutest and softest baby clothes. Some of my friends have had little ones and I will definitely be back to shop for them. For myself I'm coming back for some super cozy sweaters - it's just too hot right now and at almost $50 a pop, it wasn't a need. The prices range. Some items seem reasonable and others are slightly overpriced in my opinion BUT the convenience of getting so many cute things all in one spot makes worth paying a little more okay in my eyes as it's a one stop shop. Lastly the staff are nice here. Everyone says hello and they greet you with good vibes. They are helpful but don't hover. All in all this is a great store in downtown and I'll be back soon to snag some goodies.

I don't know how the owner manages to find room to add more stuff. Regardless, I really like a lot of things here, but speaking honestly, I found the prices to be a bit on the pricey side... not surprising for a gift store, but still, I found myself more justifying why I shouldn't buy it as opposed to convincing myself that I absolutely "needed" to have it.... or even buy as gifts for others. I thought about future Christmas gifts, but again, spending a lot of money for things so very tiny (some were)... so I kept saying no. There was a very rude lady who I repeatedly had to tell that we don't need help looking. She kept coming up to us and it made me so uncomfortable. I've came to this shop several times and have spent $1000s of dollars but this is the absolute LAST time I give them my business. I bought what I wanted because I had promised my kids and this I didn't want to break my promise. But I drew the line at this: the lady once AGAIN asked (in a rude manner) directly to my daughter "do you need help, don't ignore me you're being extremely RUDE" to where I calmly said to her, "my daughter has AUTISM" I told her don't take it personal if she doesn't speak, and the lady snapped and left. After I bought my stuff she still wouldn't acknowledge her mistake and said "take care of these items" like it doesn't concern her if I want to throw the items to the trash or melt them, I'll do whatever I want with my stuff. She then said "these are expensive" and I said I know because I've been there several times. I then told her again that she should really be mindful about children with special needs. She gave me excuses not acknowledging her rude behavior.... I remained calm and didn't stoop to her level. She finally apologized when I just looked at her quietly. I wouldn't recommend this second hand smelling place. It smells bad everything is expensive and they're all snobby to the customers. I felt disgusted. I don't know how they remain in business with that rancid attitude. I would give them ZERO stars if I could. Overpriced cheap things.
