Large sausage
Rozalynn B.

I found them on Yelp a few months ago and bookmarked them. We stopped by at 840pm on a Monday night, they close at 9 and still seated us. I can always appreciate a business that doesn't close the kitchen an hour earlier than closing time! We ordered drinks, french martini's that were REALLY good! Anywho, we came for pizza and got that. Large sausage, extra sauce well done. It tookthe pizza maybe 25 mins and it came out piping out and prepared correctly. The service was really good also. I can see myself going back again.

Great value, large portions. Nothing tremendous, just good food. My waitress was really nice and had a nice smile! She could probably teach a thing or two to people in the industry. Had the chicken picatta, nice tangy sauce with a good amount of capers. I asked for linguine instead of angel hair, cooked perfectly. Salad was quite large, could probably feed two people. Bread was ok.

Gluten-free pizza

Forgot to post picture of thr Gluten-free pizza. Delicious! You should eat here often

First time here with the kids and it was a great experience. The food was good, service was on point, and the ambiance is great! Love the fact that they have basically the same menu in GF! I've never seen that before and can really appreciate that. Prices are decent considering portion sizes. Will be coming back for sure.

Very chic ambiance, when I walked in I definitely forgot i was walking into a "pizza spot". I actually didn't intend on getting the pizza as I assumed it's niche would be mostly Italian food judging on how nice the restaurant is. Thank goodness my waiter put me on game about not missing out on an opportunity to eat proper Chicago pizza like a real Chi land resident. *Spoiler alert* it's not deep dish y'all Apparently this restaurant has one of the few special kind of pizza oven types around to make some of the best tavern style pizza you can get your hands on. Walked in curious, left impressed. Kudos.

First the staff was beyond nice and friendly, our server Lacey was so friendly and an all around great server. The owner Paul came by the table ask how we were doing, talked a few minutes and was a really nice guy. We had pizza and lasagna. The pizza was nice and thin crust and crispy. The sauce and sausage were really good. The lasagna was really good as well, really big piece you get with soup or salad, we had mushroom barley soup again really good. And something so simple as garlic bread was one of the best garlic bread I've ever had. Inside is decorated really nice, they have a dining room, they have a separate room I think for parties and they also have a bar. It was nice and clean too. We will definitely be going back. We are not gluten free but I know ppl who are and they have a big gluten free menu!

Been driving by this place for 2 years and the parking lot is always packed. Decided to give it a try tonight and luckily we were seated with no issue at 6:00. Tuesdays is $20 chicken night and it includes soup or salad. Both of us went for the chicken and weren't disappointed, a solid choice with leftovers for tomorrow.

Service took a while and gluten free pizza and regular pizza was awful. The cheese was weird, it was like it was non fat or dairy free.

Good Italian food for a neighborhood restaurant. Prices are ok, but some items are a bit overpriced.

Not up to their usual standards. The Walleye could have had a lot more parmsane cheese. The pasta on the Chicken Marsala was not done.

My husband had…read moresent them a message asking if they had any, and they quickly responded that they did, and with all the necessary info we'd need. We called one day ahead to reserve our order, then day of we headed there for pickup. It's in a nice little strip mall area with plenty of parking. When we first walked in, I noticed it smelled a little like seafood, but like FRESH seafood. Some seafood shops can have a really strong fish smell but this smelled more like the sea than fishy. One thing to note is that it does not appear that they serve hot cooked-to-order food anymore. They no longer had that small kitchen/grill area out front. But they did have a ton of really awesome products! The owner was extremely helpful and grabbed our order from the back, showed us the lobsters, and then packed it up really nicely for us for the drive home, and to keep in the fridge for a few hours until dinner time. We also saw they had live mussels so we grabbed a bag of those too. I also picked up a Better Than Bullion in lobster base, I had never seen that in stores before! We also grabbed some hush puppies from their frozen section. The owner was super excited for us, for our first time cooking fresh lobster, hyped it up and him and the other lady employee were giving us some cooking tips! Everything turned out amazing,, the lobsters were delicious and every mussel was perfectly fresh. Just overall great place and great people! We'll be back, I'm looking forward to grabbing some of their fresh fish next!

Been here several times. Great food, lively atmosphere, and so on…read more Today was our first carry-out. We were worried but not after we got home with our food. It was just as good as in the restaurant. We ordered for 4 people. The food was spot on. Tomahawk, 2 Vodka pastas, and the wagyu beef stroganoff. With two brussels sprouts sides, the cheese cake and banana pie. The deserts are to die for! I am amazed this carry-out was just as good as in the restaurant. Well packaged. Still fresh when we got home and as always here, tasty. Well done!

So I thought we were all set. Our reservation was for 6:00, and we arrived at 5:54. We were told to wait until six, which was perfectly fine. Six o'clock rolls around and we're told they're still cleaning the table. Okay, we wait. Then we wait. And wait. Thirty minutes later, we find out the people who had the table STILL hadn't even left. Baby...what exactly were we reserving three weeks ago, a future dream? They offered us a complimentary appetizer, which I appreciate in theory, but when you've got a party of eight waiting 40 minutes past their reservation time, I'm not really looking for the cheapest appetizer on the menu. I'm looking for the table I reserved. Eventually, we were seated, and thank GOD for our server Alexis B, because they completely turned the experience around. Funny, knowledgeable, incredibly kind, and genuinely one of the best servers I've ever had. If I could give them five stars separately, I would. They made us feel welcome and somehow kept the whole table laughing after that rocky start. The food had some hits and misses. The crab cake was a little too spicy for my taste, although the rest of the table enjoyed it. The mini sliders, however? DELICIOUS. That buttery, well seasoned bun was doing exactly what it needed to do. Then came my Entourage burger, and baby...THAT burger understood the assignment. It was absolutely packed with flavor. So good that I practically inhaled it. My server even asked if I wanted another one because apparently I ate it fast enough to qualify for a second round. Unfortunately, the management situation left a lot to be desired. After the issues getting our table, the managers seemed to keep watching our group throughout the night. If you're going to stare, baby, at least commit to the performance! It made an already awkward situation feel even more uncomfortable. Honestly, my server Alexis B, was the ONLY reason this experience ended on a positive note. They were so charming and personable that by the end, they felt more like a friend than a server. I'm genuinely going to miss them. The food was good, and that burger was fantastic, but a three-week reservation should not turn into a 40 minute wait with a party of eight standing around wondering when they're going to eat. So unfortunately, I'm leaving with two stars. The food gave me reasons to come back, but the reservation experience and management gave me reasons to stay home. And to my server: you were the star of the night. Protect this person at all costs.

I will say that the only thing I was disappointed with was the bones I found in the salmon. I'd prefer the salmon to be 100% boneless but I understand that it's common for a few to slip by when you buy salmon. It happens everywhere. The store is small but it had everything I was looking for. There was a decent selection for items I wasn't even looking for. There's bison, kangaroo, boar, duck, elk and venison. I'm excited to try elk and boar next. I also want to commend Lori for her extremely kind and friendly demeanor. She made me feel comfortable in the store and it makes me feel a lot more encouraged to continue coming back. We asked how often they get delivered. The server's first answer was "on Mondays". So our response was "so the oysters you do have are five days old". She then said she'd check. She came back and said they are delivered every day. But by 6pm 2/3 of their list was sold out. Want this place to be successful - but they're making it hard to support them. I get they can't order too many or they'll be wasted. But for a not busy Saturday night it was disappointing to have only Rappahannock and East Points on hand.
