My dad eats here religiously on Sundays after church and after years trying different things I found my favorite. Grouper with Asiago cheese n linguini. I really cannot put into words how amazingly fresh the fish is. Outstanding prices and they cook for you on sight with fries, pasta or veg. I stopped in and had the grouper and my son had mussels. I mean we tore it UP! Sauce was just perfect! The pics do no justice. These folks have everything you need fresh or frozen. I Love It Here!

Really enjoy coming to this quaint seafood shop, and the wonderful staff. The gentleman said he's owned it for several decades, and he had great knowledge of the flavors and was very patient while I asked him questions. Do NOT walk out without grabbing their freshly made crab cakes. Everyone I have had try them have said they're the best they've ever had! We also love their homemade salmon burgers. So glad we stumbled on this hidden gem!

After driving by this place about a million times, I finally stopped in to get some fresh fish. Nice little shop. The service is super friendly, and the variety of fresh and frozen seafood far surpasses what you'd find at a typical grocery store. The first time I went, I bought fresh halibut and crab cakes. The crab cakes were okay, but the halibut was absolutely succulent. I bought king salmon on my most recent trip, and it was also amazing. This place is more expensive than the grocery store, but I suppose that's because of quality and variety. Also, most items in the fresh fridge are not labeled, so I end up having to ask what's what.

Homemade Blackened Grouper (fresh grouper from Succulent Seafood) and crawfish etoufee.

Great place to buy seafood! Highly recommend supporting small businesses during a time like this. Love the selection especially the shrimp.

I've seen the sign for Sea Shack from Route 59 and finally got to try it when my sister was visiting Naperville. I called in an order and it was ready in 15 minutes. What we ordered for 3 adults: 1 lb peeled shrimp, mild, + corn + potatoes 1 lb black mussels, mild, + corn + potatoes 1 lb clams, mild 1 corn on the side 1 sausage on the side onion rings chicken tenders and fries 2 orders of rice We had plenty of food and enough for leftovers. My favorite part might be the cajun butter sauce with white rice... even more than the seafood. I love white rice with basically any sauce. The food was fresh, the sauce was mild as requested, still flavorful and not too salty. If you order the clams on its own, no sides, the bag might seem a little small but that's just because the clam meat is so small. For takeout, your seafood will come double bagged so it was leak proof. We decided to empty the bags into bowls since we were doing family style, and it was a hearty meal. I can't comment on the ambiance since it was a takeout order, but we enjoyed our food. We'll be back!

So, I was happy to find a grocery store nearby with organic items that we use on a weekly basis. Great organic cream for coffee, bread with simple ingredients similar to Whole Foods, nice produce section with organic, and decent sized deli and to go food with some interesting offerings. Fairly large liquor section with many offerings. No type of toiletry or household items, but still, a large store. The only downside is the bakery is kind of meh. The Blueberry pie is very good, but the chocolate chip cookies have almost zero flavor. The strudel was also very flavorless, and lacking apple filling. I guess I will not get tempted here (the way I am at Whole Foods) to buy sweets. The premade sandwiches were also not a comparison to WF. Some of the pasta salads are very good even though they have canola oil in them. I'd say the fish section here is, by far, the largest I've ever seen around this area. Not a fish fan, but if you are, very worth checking out the store. Some grass feed steaks, and a comprehensive offering of meats. I see this store as a step up from Mariano's and Jewel (which are right next to my home) and a great place to go, if I want to save a little money, and not drive all the way to Whole Foods. The price point on most items is either same or a little lower than Whole Foods.

Great grocery store! Just became my favorite place to shop!…read more It's never crowded, insanely clean and organized. The staff is super friendly and professional. They also have a lot of great items you cannot find anywhere else! With Whole Foods going downhill and Trader Joe's always being slammed + limited on options, this is the best place for groceries in the area. I see the negative reviews are about the prices. It's in one of the wealthiest towns in one of the most taxed areas in the country. That should not be a surprise. Plus everything is expensive now. They say Mariano's and Jewel are better options, but those places are dirty, horrible service, moldy produce, smelly, and you don't really save that much. You get what you pay for though, so I understand why this place is on the pricier end, that's ok, and not a reason for a low review. Low reviews are for staff, cleanliness, product, perishables, meat, deli, smell, etc. I say this admitting I am very picky and OCD about grocery stores. Def give this place a try and see for yourself! I personally think it's a wonderful grocery store!

This shop, home to many varietals of olive oil, vinegar and other gourmet goodies, shares space with Dark Horse Pastries, so you also have your choice of baked goods. They also sell a small array of wine and beer, and products from other local companies such as chocolates and honey (creamed raw raspberry honey, anyone? Sounds good to me!) You can taste all the varieties of oil and vinegar. Like it spicy? Pick from habanero, jalapeno or red pepper oil! Want fruit flavor? How about Mexican Lime, Meyer Lemon or Blood Orange? The balsamic vinegar came in an array of interesting flavors, including Dark Chocolate, which I think would pair well with strawberries! I liked that there were larger and smaller sized bottles to choose from (small size was 5 oz). They also sell a modest range of dip mixes, mustard, pesto, pasta, and assorted other treats. The addition of the bakery in the same building makes this shop a little different from some of the other gourmet places around here (note that there are several other places in downtown Naperville that specialize in this type of product). It's slightly hard to find (go down the alley between Potbelly and the yellow house building and it's in the courtyard behind), but worth looking for! Staff was friendly but not pushy, and quite "on" for early morning! :) Note to credit card users: if you spend less than $5, an extra 50¢ charge is added.
