I was very excited to try this wine bar out, we are visiting Cincinnati for a friend's wedding and…read moresomeone recommended we stop by. The restaurant had a nice ambiance, good playlist, and a variety of seating areas. The service is a little slow, but we weren't in a rush and it was only one server who I believe was doing her best. Two of us ordered lobster sliders to share, I have a fish allergy (not shellfish) and asked if there was fish mixed into the fish or any fish prepared in the restaurant. I ordered the sliders after this assurance, and after finishing one my mouth began swelling almost immediately. We asked for the server who went back to the kitchen and relayed there was no fish, alas that can't be true. I have had extensive testing and am absolutely sure of what allergies I have. The manager was involved after I asked the dish to be removed from my bill. When she approached the table she said "You're the one with the allergy? I can talk to you." She couldn't remove the entire dish because two were consumed and informed me that "I probably shouldn't have ordered lobster either since it's in the same family as fish." Food allergies are very serious and I hope that in the future they are more diligent as this is quite dangerous. A $5 discount on a $25 dish with a lack of care from management is not an appropriate response to the situation.

It's the kind of place that makes you want to dress up a little and enjoy the moment. But cool and casual is nice too. While I'd recommend grabbing a bite to eat beforehand, the bar more than makes up for it with a solid wine list and beautifully crafted drinks. Whether you're catching up with friends or enjoying a date night, it's a great spot filled with good energy, great opportunities, and stunning aesthetics. A definite must-visit for anyone wanting a classy night out. We went right at opening and were the only customers for a while, so we had anything we needed in a timely manner.

Tonight I stumbled into Ripple looking for a glass of wine and ended up finding exactly what I…read moredidn't know I needed. From the moment I sat down at the bar, owner Matt and the bartenders made me feel genuinely welcome. They took the time to learn my name, offer recommendations, and check in throughout the evening without ever being overbearing. It's a rare gift to make a solo guest feel seen while still giving them space to enjoy their own company. The food was outstanding. I ordered the baked brie with the honeycomb (trust me, get the honeycomb) and every bite was delicious. The combination of warm brie, puff pastry, honey, and nuts was incredible. Matt's wine recommendation was equally spot on. What impressed me most, though, was the atmosphere. Ripple strikes the perfect balance between sophisticated and comfortable. Whether you're on a date, catching up with friends, or simply enjoying a quiet evening alone, you'll feel right at home. I arrived as a first-time guest and left feeling like a regular. Covington is lucky to have this place. I'll definitely be back.

Our server was attentive and guided us expertly on cheeses to complement our meats and the assorted goodies, that include nuts, herbed butter and fig spread. The bread from Allez Bakery that comes with the board is outstanding. Look forward to visiting again.

Service wasn't the fastest, but everyone was friendly and welcoming. What really stood out for me was the vegan menu. I was genuinely excited to see solid options, and I'd absolutely go back just to work my way through more of them. I ordered the Vegan Chardonnay pizza -- bianca sauce, roasted garlic, roasted mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, vegan cheese, and rosemary. I'm usually not a white sauce person, but this one completely won me over. It was rich, flavorful, and balanced in a way that made every bite interesting without feeling heavy. The crust was also excellent -- that perfect mix of airy and crisp. Bonus: the leftovers reheated surprisingly well in a dry pan on the stove. The only downside was the garlic... and I mean seriously heavy. I smelled like garlic for a full 24 hours afterward, despite brushing, mouthwash, showering, and mints. Not subtle. Still, I'd order it again without hesitation. Worth it.

We had a Chardonnay and a Bellevue pizza along with an apple dessert pizza and some meatballs as an appetizer. The pizza was great. Generous toppings, nice sauces, thin but not crispy crust. The apple pizza was okay. Dare I say on par with CiCi's apple pizza, only smaller and much more expensive. The meatballs were tasty, decent marinara. But the balls were small. For the price I expected something bigger. Service was adequate. The dining room was comfortable. We found street parking right in front. Not sure if they have a lot. Overall, the move from three to four stars was the pizza. A little pricey, but worth it.

There was plenty of room, even though there shouldn't have been because it was DELICIOUS. We had a birthday girl in our party, and when we arrived there was a card waiting for her signed by all the employees. They clearly have these on hand, but it's such a lovely touch and immediately makes you feel special. Now, Jessica. She is the best. She was our server and perhaps part psychic. My typical hungover self couldn't decide whether to be healthy or greasy, so yes, I got the veggie sandwich with bacon and French fries. And yes, it was delicious. The fries are clearly homemade and were yummy, BUT my friend's breakfast potatoes were superior, and I was delighted her hungover self couldn't get them all down because I got some. Our party got the breakfast burrito, shrimp and grits, fish sandwich, and one of the salads. EVERYONE was happy. Mostly because every time we looked up, Jessica was asking if we needed something. And we did. We needed mimosas and stouts and oh so much water. I promise the food and service were actually great and it's not just because we so desperately needed all the deliciousness they had to offer. Special mention to Hannah, who wasn't even there but had fantastic birthday card confidence. 10/10 hangover cure. Would absolutely return, hopefully under less dehydrated circumstances.

I had the lavender which was great (tastes more like gin) and my partner got the key lime (more vanilla flavor than anything). The bread service and the crab cakes were delicious apps, and I absolutely loved my sandwich.
