Wedge Salad

Cincinnati's favorite band "Soul Pocket" plays at the Redmoor about once a month. The band is known for playing music from Motown to today's hip dance songs. We chose to have dinner and we're pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. We chose a wedge salad and a Redmoor burger and found them to be quite delightful. Wedge salad was fresh Romaine loaded with Real bacon and a good quality Blu cheese crumbles and dressing. And the burger was a hefty 7 oz burger with cheddar on a freshly toasted bun. And yes! Hot! French fries. Service was excellent. We arrived about an hour before the band started and enjoyed cocktails and dinner in a no rush situation. Once the band starts it's large and in charge. Great night out on the town.

Enjoyed a great evening and a Rodger Klug concert at the Redmoor. I subscribe to the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra who does a pub crawl here annually - always fun. Easy to get to on the east side of Cincinnati and plenty of parking. The theater is a basic, "club like" venue with a bar, stage and food service. Service was great, even in a sold out concert. From the marquee there were plenty of interesting upcoming events. We ordered a couple of appetizers (crab rangoon, breaded shrimp), followed by a yummy signature Redmoor burger which was excellent. The warm chocolate brownie/ice cream was a great end. I would definitely look for a reason to go and enjoy this place again - super laid back and fun atmosphere.

One night, my wife and I went to The Redmoor for a concert. The Redmoor is a bit tricky to get to. In fact, we spent a good portion of time trying to find a place to park. Soon, we were rewarded with a parking space, far behind the building. From the outside, The Redmoor looks like an old movie theater, so naturally, I was ecstatic. On the inside, the walls were painted with bright colors and the bar was hard at work, keeping up with patrons. The hostess escorted us to our reserved table, followed by our friendly server. He started us off with drinks and answered our menu questions. I had ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger with fries and my wife had wings. We had shared an appetizer which were like Southwest Eggrolls. Everything tasted great and they kept the soft drinks going. The only problems I had during my time in The Redmoor, were the carpet and the restroom. The carpet had a mildew smell which didn't go away. In fact, it drove my allergies into an absolute frenzy. The restroom was in decent shape, but one of the paper towel machines stopped working. Not a big deal, just an inconvenience. All in all, the concert, food and service were great and overshadowed the little inconveniences I had. Please check this place out. You won't be disappointed.

Great fun for a comedy show. Saw Pat Godwin from Bob & Tom radio show and he was a blast. Fun songs and audience interaction because we were "right there". Vip seating worth being up front highly recommended. Servers were great and quick. No longing for a drink once empty or even just near empty. Awesome! Didn't have food but folks nearby all head clean plates so I assume good grub too!

It has taken me some time to figure out what I want to say in this review and that is because I don't feel like words alone are enough to say how incredible Mandie, Jennifer and their team are. I wish there were many more stars we could give. We got married on May 11th and everything was just perfect! Mandie and team didn't miss a beat and really ensured that all we had to do was show up and enjoy our evening. The food was outstanding and we had several guests pull us aside the night of the wedding and say how great their meal was and how impeccable the service. If you are in Cincinnati and considering any type of event, don't hesitate one second reaching out to The Redmoor team. You will not be sorry. Mandie, thank you so much for not only all you did for the wedding, but for treating us in a way where you and your team felt like family and part of the event. I wish I could name them all individually and give them the credit where credit is due but I know you will pass on our sentiments. A very heartfelt thank you for helping make what was an incredibly special night for us run so smooth and be even more special than we had planned. You all are truly the BEST! That Oscar for Best Wedding Venue couldn't have gone to a better venue.

From our first days planning our event to the final toast at the end of the night, it was the perfect experience to have our event hosted at the Redmoor Theatre event space in Cincinnati. Our host and owner, Mandie McDonald, guided us through the entire process including menu selection. Having an in-house chef made it easy to craft the hors d'oeuvres for our party menu. The Redmoor team checked in with us at each step of the planning process. Room setup and layout, sound and lighting for our band, valet parking, and assistance in successfully closing our event. Their team and experience in event planning made it an enjoyable process We recommend the Redmoor for any gathering whether it is a wedding or corporate event. We will never forget the 25th anniversary of MAX Technical Training and we owe a great amount of gratitude to Mandie and the Redmoor team.

Parking is though. Recommend to come early. Limited menu, but I came for the entertainment. The band is setting up as we order our food. We got the best seats in the house. The bear was good. The burger was tasty. I want more. My wife liked her pizza (no leftovers). We need to bring our adult children here.

Tasted good but presentation was plain.

I guess I have had my better days at the Redmoor in years past. The venue is still good and them serving food at concerts is actually pretty sweet. The downside is that the bands who came did zero advertising in the Cincinnati market and the crowd sucked. We saw Dead Centric and there was not a hippie in the place except for a half dozen. The rest were yuppies from the surrounding area and they could have cared less for the music. Evan was our waiter and he was sporadic, but we did get our food. There were three women waiting tables as well and they seemed to be very attentive to their tables. The wedge salad was the highlight of the night. Romaine hearts with blue chees, balsamic glaze, and candied hot bacon. The crab rangoon tasted good but he presentation was blah. They could have lined the plate with a bit of lettuce or something. Needless to say we felt the night was a bust overall. The prices were good for the food and drinks. The burgers and mushroom appetizer we saw go out looked good too. The people who had those dishes seemed happy with them.

It's so pretty and romantic. They serve food made with fresh quality products. There's beer on tap, wine by the glass or bottle, soda and signature drinks, salads asks appetizers and specially made doughnuts. The stage is huge along with the venue. There is a television on either side of the stage, although I didn't view them, I'm not sure what they are used for.The bar area is large. Beautiful place!

The only reason I gave 4 stars was two things: women's bathroom was COMPLETELY out of hand soap at about 7 o'clock in the evening. I understand these places may be understaffed, the good thing was as soon as I said something it seems like they went in and remedied the situation. BUT, and when I say but, it's a BIG BUT, once the lobby started to fill with people, IT GOT HOT. SO, SO HOT. Everybody was sweating and complaining. I heard one woman say she wasn't sure how much more she could take. It was bad, really really bad. Other than that, I'd definitely be willing to come back for a show at this theater! ....especially in the winter.

We attended a concert of several bluegrass bands headlined by Rumpke Mountain Boys on New Year's Eve 2019. On this particular night, the crowd was the perfect size. Great vibe down on the floor in front of the stage, but enough room to move around on the second tier for those that prefer a little more elbow room. The bar service was prompt, prices seem fair and the variety of beer selections is decent for a venue that isn't open every night (though no beers on tap, which is understandable for an event venue I suppose). The building is in pretty good shape, and really shows off the classic architecture well. It seemed to me like the stage area has been enhanced recently, though I couldn't be sure. This is a great neighborhood venue for live music and events. Check it out!
