I'm going to be super nice here as most of my somewhat harsh feelings are based on the band that was running two hours behind. Yep, we stood in line for 2hrs waiting for the doors to open. Riverfront Live folks were doing their best and the one fella(I'll refer to him as Captain Chaos) kept having to come out and let everybody know what was going on. If you needed to use the restroom or needed a drink, "go to the bar or UDF" which aren't that far away but it was so hot and muggy it was unbearable. Again, temps aren't RL's issues but later they had a walking drink offering at a price. The concert was supposed to be out back in open air area but changed to indoors. Which was kind of nice but they had the back doors wide open so it wasn't conditioned inside unless you were standing right under a vent or by a fan. All the tables inside were marked Reserved? So we stood for hours so if you're unable to stand for 3-4hrs straight, I'd guess plan ahead and reserve a table or lean over a iron fence? The indoor area was pretty dark so no real opinion. Audio was actually pretty good. Highs, mids and bass were all clear and concise conserving how low and mumbled the leads voice was. The men's room was kind of small and absolutely disgusting.

My husband and I recently went to Cincinnati for the Psychedelic Furs concert. We were scared because the event was very rainy and we weren't sure how the indoor event was going to pan out. I have to be honest. I was a little skeptical walking into the indoor event space. But within a few minutes, it felt like I had taken a page out of the 90s, when bars were great and people were fun and nobody was trying to kill each other. I felt the same well-being here. Watching a great band in a great funky, slightly dilapidated venue. It was great!

My Mr. and I attended to two concerts recently. The first one was Ted Nugent (outdoor) in August and Trombone Shorty (indoor) in September. I really like this venue. It's not dingy or dirty. Renovated and new management. It's just the right size for an intimate show. The set up inside is pretty spacious with lounge chairs and tables. The floor near the stage is a decent size. The stage is small yet the sound is not distorted. They have two huge bars which the bartenders are very attentive and friendly. The outdoor does has some seating (picnic tables). There is plenty of parking. They do have a good beer selection. None on tap, just cans from domestics to craft (16 oz) The pricing is not high at all much cheaper than Riverbend. If you are not interested in beer, they do carry wine and make cocktails (limited selection). My only con is the bathrooms. No mirrors, you have to hold the handle for a long time for the toilet to flush, and the water pressure to wash your hands is weak. Other than that, I have no complaints. Security is tight, pricing for tickets are reasonable and had great experiences with both shows. I know my Mr and I will return.

I attended two back to back Dark Star shows at Riverfront Live last weekend and all I have to saw is wow. My boyfriend and I planned the trip last minute just for the hell of it (having never been to Ohio) and Cincinnati did not disappoint. We tailgated with Zinger for several hours before the show and it was so much fun. We met some incredible people had had an all around blast. Our bartender for the night, Kevin, turned out to be a really awesome guy and joined us for the festivities during the night of the second show. We drank with Tim, the owner, who was incredibly welcoming and kind. Kevin was so much fun to hang with. We ended up partying together the next night and I can't wait to go back and visit! Kevin is a gem, and is always welcome to visit us back in Dallas.

They cancelled the Voyage concert and I ended up losing $25 in fees. It sucks to lose money, so yeah, one star.

Super fun! Love the concerts here. I like the outdoor area and that they offer free water.

Great place to catch a concert. Has a indoor and outdoor stage. Let's you get close to the acts you are there to see.

Go rock out! Great place for all types of live music. Cold beer, usually a food truck or two and affordable pricing.

Despite having such a large group, drinks were out fast and there was plenty of seating. 2 things stick out here: Decor and the Drinks. Both were impeccably done. The nature meets wood and brick aesthetic is so purposefully laid out and when the eye cruises across the landscape it's so satisfying!! We had a LOT of drinks, but the jade river, el toro rojo, and pacific muse were our favorites. The drinks are priced pretty well ($12-$14) and the service was very prompt, always cleaning up empty glasses and clearing space for more people to sit. I for SURE recommend this place as a spot to come and throw a couple rounds back. We stayed for hours and drank and talked our hearts out! Thank you for such a wonderful night. 5 stars.

They offer delicious seasonal drinks, and every drink & shot I've tried has been amazing! My absolute favorite thing I've had here (and one of the best drinks I've ever had period) is their S'mores Espresso Martini! It's literally perfection; aesthetically it's fun but still well composed as any espresso martini should be; it's has the right balance of sweet & coffee, & all of the flavors really make it taste like you're drinking an espresso flavored s'more! If you see this on the menu, it is a must try!

We had a reservation for 6pm and walked in and got right to our table, with drinks shortly following. I ordered their espresso martini, which was very solid. For an appetizer I ordered their soup of the day (clam chowder) and entree was the orange roughy in a lemon cream sauce, with wild rice and broccoli on the side (and my wife got the prime rib - WOW!). Both were EXCELLENT - wish the portion sizes were bigger honestly on mine! For dessert we all split the lemon mascarpone cake and cheesecakes, which were devoured. Then, because it was one of those rare warmer nights in February, we went outside and sat in front of the fireplace and drank a bottle of wine and hung out for an hour or two. Our server and the manager were absolutely awesome and hit all the high points. Definitely a great experience all around. Only SLIGHT downside was the parking lot around back, which was totally full, but can't really fault Green Line for that. We found street parking not far away. Five stars for Green Line - 100% will be back!

They had just had a storm roll through and were experiencing a bunch of power outage problems, and the staff were able to pivot well around this issue. Which for me wasn't really an issue, because I like sitting in a darkened room anyways and I thought that was just the ambiance they were going for. I kicked off with a Buffalo trace martini and whooooo was it good and definitely a martini to be sipped and enjoyed. I followed that then with their shrimp cocktail special that I was not prepared for it to come in an actual cocktail glass and they officially have made the most gorgeous shrimp cocktail I have ever ordered. My server was super awesome and she suggested I also get their bread basket because she's heard great things about the truffle butter and sweet butter that come with it and let me tell you all something. The truffle butter was good, but the sweet cream butter I would gladly eat on everything the rest of my life, it was that incredible. For my main course I ordered the prime rib that they're known for and while I liked it, I wish I'd asked for it to have been cooked a little more than medium well, but that's just my personal preference and I knew I should have gone with what I normally do. The sides were fantastic and paired well with it, and I also got a side of their vegetable risotto which I ate for breakfast the next day without shame. I then finished the meal off with the delectable lemon cake you see pictured here and it was so smooth and delish. I basically had to roll out. I will be sure to visit again the next time I'm going to Louisville!
