I was just amazed with the attention to detail. Serving dishes, glass wear, full kitchen, sound system, two large screen televisions, and even games for the kiddos were all provided. The owner has thought of everything you might need, and she is always very quick to respond with answers to any questions you may have. The inside felt cozy and not overly decorated (very spacious). Bar was simple and plenty seating (tables). We did a tasting and had a cheese tray. We tried: Pinot Noir Pinot Blanc Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot I was bummed that they were out of the Vranac (red wine). But my favorite was the Pinot Blanc (very refreshing and ended up taking a bottle home). and the Merlot (mild and great peppery taste in the finish). Their Golden Harvest is their main sweet wine and even though its description mentions lemon drop, it's not always discernible. Since it is a family owned and run winery, each batch will have a slightly different taste. My main favorite wines are their apple wines, especially the Apple Crisp. They also offer wood fired pizza that is unlike any of the chain restaurant's. It pairs very well with all of their wines that we've tried so far. I think it's probably low acidic sauce because I have heartburn problems when I eat anyone else's pizza with wine but not theirs. When they aren't busy, the staff, especially Mark and Julie, recognize us from our visits over the years. The tasting room and pizza window overlook a nice little pond and woods and all the decor is spot on.

The ceremony was outdoors on the lawn and the space is great for that. There's a dance floor area inside and plenty of space for any food or catering. The building has a nice sound system and televisions you can project slide shows or whatever you'd need onto. Victoria is the contact person and she is great, she will go the extra mile in service.

The conference room had no seating space except for uncomfortable metal hard chairs which were a challenge to sit in all day. Heavy snow and rain caused a leak in the back room which was incredibly smelly. The bunks were uncomfortable, and the food offerings were heavy with few healthy options such as fruit and yogurt in the morning. These accommodations made the conference feel more like a boot camp, and I would not recommend this retreat center.

Located just down the road from the golf course and Selma, Bailey's Place has been beautifully landscaped to hold events, wedding ceremonies, etc. I was visiting here for a wedding. It's a gorgeous setup with an arbor, that the bride and groom got married under. There was seating set up in front of the arbor for guest. Behind the arbor was a cabin, that can be used for wedding party to get ready. But also can be used for receptions or having the wedding in. I believe this was the backup if it had rained. There isn't necessarily a parking lot, but a grassy area this is designated for parking. And lots of trees for shading.
