Came with friends for a special occasion. My favorite things were the potato pizza and truffle pasta (not pictured). I ordered the shrimp asparagus risotto for myself and enjoyed it but it wasn't outstanding. Meatball appetizer was a little disappointing size wise also. The servers were awesome and kept the bread coming!

Friendly service, nice atmosphere and quality food make for a wonderful experience. We went for lunch on a Sunday. It was fairly busy but we were able to get seating in the patio area. We waited a few minutes for the waiter but once he came, he was very friendly. We tried the Tagliolini Al Limone E Ricotta, Rigatoni Tricolore Con Burrata, Gemelli Regina and Caesar salad. They were all very tasty. The pastas are made from scratch and were perfectly cooked. However, I wish the portions were a little larger for the price. They do offer 3 hour parking validation for the Americana parking structure. The restaurant is pretty spacious and offer both indoor and enclosed patio dining.

Been here a few times and it's always good. Today I came and it was very delicious and good customer service. I ordered lobster spaghetti and Caesar salad and everything was perfect!! I even tried my sister pizza and it was very tasty. Food 5/5 for me. The drinks were good as well. I got my usual lemon drop and prosecco. 5/5 for the food ! The service was amazing!!! Alejandro was our server and he was really nice. Exceptional service from him the entire time. He was amicable and very attentive. The hostess and manager was nice as well. The manager even checked on us. The ambiance is beautiful as well. It's located in the Americana and very beautiful. Good for date night or hang out. They even have a bar called Ombré right next to it that's a sister business. You can order food as well, with a nice ambiance. I highly recommend here ! Five stars all around!!! -Marshay D.

Had an amazing birthday celebration for my mom. Our waiter was great and even brought me and my mom a complimentary drink each for her birthday. We got the eggplant parmigiana, pesto gnocchi, and potatoes. The food here is always delicious and the service this time around was top notch! This restaurant has a very laid back vibe and ambience.

We finally had the chance to try this place. We loved the calamari and zucchini blossoms! The cacio e pepe was also tasty along with the spaghetti and seafood. My son enjoyed the pepperoni pizza. The space was clean and lively. It is a family friendly restaurant as there was a table of children near us. The service was good.

This resturant is very good. Everything is made fresh to order and with quality ingredients. I got the lobster pasta and a pepperoni pizza. The pizza was sooo good filled with love. The pasta was flavorful and a nice decent amount for lunch. Service by Alejandro was superb. He was very informative, kind, personable and make good suggestions. He made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us throughout the day. Beautiful ambiance and the weather was delightful.

We finally visited this restaurant. My wife and I would frequently walk past it every time we went to the Americana. We were seated right away. We sat by the patio. The ambiance was warm and it had a nice view. We ordered the broccoli soup for our starter, the green lasagna and the spinach ravioli for our main entrees and we shared a tiramisu for dessert. The food was delicious! However, the waiter was OK but not great. He did not pay attention to details. He did not bother to check if we liked our food or asked my wife if she wanted a refill for her coffee. The place was not that full. All in all, we will try this place again since we liked the food. Hopefully, the service improves.

I was not expecting to find such an elevated dining experience in a shopping/residential district in the LA suburb of Glendale! We went in with zero expectations and left completely delighted and satisfied. There aren't many restaurants stateside that can emulate the Tuscan trattoria feel you get in Florence, but this place makes it seem effortless. Warm and inviting atmosphere inside and out with impeccable staff attentive and committed to your dining experience. I was so excited to see seasonal stuffed squash blossoms on the menu. These were amazing. Stuffed with ricotta, lightly battered, deep fried till GBD. Served with some marinara for dipping. A real delicacy not easily found on American menus. Another rare find is authentic cacio y pepe. This translates simply to pasta with cheese and pepper--specifically pecorino Romano. Expertly served table side using a full wheel of cheese and swirling the spaghetti in there to pick up the cheese. This method isn't my personal favorite because it lacks the starchy water element that helps loosen it up a bit. But my wife loved it, it was delicious, and made for quite the show. The Bronzino was truly remarkable. Whole Mediterranean sea bass roasted under a salt dome with aromatic herbs, served with roasted potatoes and seasonal vegetables. Also expertly deboned and served table side. Excellent selection of classic cocktails and wines available. I find their pricing to be completely reasonable overall. You get great value for what you pay. If I find myself in the area again, Amici Trattoria will be the first place I go.

Came here for a family lunch. The service was very good but the food was only decent. Appetizers that was very good was the burrata. Other items we ordered were the lobster ravioli, carbonara, branzino, and gemilla pasta. The food was either a bit salty and very small in portion size. Although we had a good time, the food didn't stand up the par with expectations

This restaurant has a very nice patio but is also very nice inside as well. I had the Rigatoni dish that had sausage and mushrooms. You can definitely tell they make their own pasta here. Then I had the tiramisu and I'll have to say it was one of the best that I've ever had!!!! I was so full from my meal and still was able to finish it that's how good it was! They also have a great wine selection! Service was top tier as well! The entire staff was pleasant and welcoming!!!

I came to Trattoria Amici for a birthday dinner and overall had a really great experience! The ambiance was warm and inviting, perfect for a celebration. I ordered the truffle pasta, and WOW - absolutely delicious. Rich, fragrant, and perfectly cooked. Definitely the star of the night and something I'd come back for. The only small downside was the cheese wheel presentation. Our waitress was a bit skimpy with adding the extra cheese, which was surprising since that's kind of the whole fun of ordering it. It still tasted amazing, but I wish she had been a little more generous.

Was at the Americana and realized, ah three years, I had never been to Trattoria Amici. The outdoor seating had a wait, but indoors we were able to get seated right away, so we sat down and went straight for drinks. We ordered the Amelia and a Mai Tai. The Amelia is a vodka based cook with elderflower liqueur, blackberries and the citron vodka. Actually has really nice flavor. The Mai Tai was also very good. Would recommend both cocktails. For food, we started with the meatballs. The meatballs, themselves, are on the smaller side, in which you get four of them. But they didn't appear too speaking in terms of color, and the flavor was lacking inside. Definitely needed some more seasoning. Covering them with the mozzarella and sauce helps. For entrees we went with the lobster ravioli and the cheese when cacuo e pepe. The lobster ravioli was ok, definitely felt like they needed more seasoning as well. The tomatoes on top and basil sauce, I felt, didn't work as well with the lobster, but maybe that's just me. The cacio e pepe is a fun presentation, but the pasta itself was overly wet, just covered in cheese sauce, making it overly rich. A little less sauce on it would have been bette, and maybe not using spaghetti noodles. Overall, drinks were really good, food could have been better, not sure I would say to run here for your Italian fix.

complimentary birthday dessert

It's my first time here, and I came to celebrate my birthday dinner with my friend, and upon arriving, the ambiance was very nice and upscale! When we got seated, we got some complimentary bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, which free bread is always great haha. I ordered the rigatoni alla norcina while my friend got the lobster ravioli. We quickly got our orders in less than 10 minutes. Our waiter also asked us if we wanted to sprinkle some parmesan cheese on our pastas, and we said yes. As for my dish, the truffle flavor was prominent, so if you like truffle, this dish is for you. While the pasta was good for the first few bites, it started getting super salty at the end because of the parmesan cheese, so I guess if you're getting this dish, I wouldn't recommend adding the cheese on it. I also tried a piece of my friend's lobster ravioli, and I honestly liked it better than mine lol! However, the portion sizes were pretty small for both of our dishes for the price, but considering this is a more elevated restaurant at the Americana, I can't necessarily complain. At the end, they gave me a free birthday dessert which I very much appreciated! Overall, I think it's a good place to try out once for the vibes!

Food and service were top notch. The only items I didn't enjoy is the amici salad but that's on me. I'm sure it might be others favorite.

Ask the Community - Trattoria Amici

Do they validate parking?

I think all of the restaurants validate parking. However, if you park longer than 3 hrs., you will pay full price, regardless of the validation. This is something new, that went into effect last year or so. I learned that this also applies to… Read more

Are they doing reservations?

Walk-ins only! When you call their phone, their automated message says they aren’t currently taking reservations.

Is there a link where to make reservations? Or do we have to call the restaurant to make one?

I just called and tried to make one and They do not take reservations at the moment. It's a first come, first serve basis.

Are there gluten-free choices?

they have gluten free pasta but usually it's one style (for example ony spaghetti gluten free)

Page says "Vegan Options" but I don't see any on the menu?

I haven't seen vegan, it's a true Italian restaurant.

Do they allow you to bring your own bottle of wine and just charge a corkage fee?

Sorry. I have no idea. It's best to call the restaurant and ask. Thanks.

What's the VIP treat in the check in offer?

yummy special flat bread or a Prosecco.

Is dress casual ok?

Yes! I've seen people wear tennis shoes and sandals. I've also seen people wear fancier clothes just because they're there for special occasions.

I was reading this page and saw mixed reviews, so I decided to try it with my son and make my own determination. They have no parking but thankfully we found a spot on the side street. The restaurant is located on the ground level of an apartment building. They also have outdoor seating, but we sat inside. One restroom each for men/women (and super clean). We walked in and got a pleasant greeting from Mia. She was HANDS DOWN the best part of this experience and provided stellar customer service. She is so young and has a bright future ahead of her. Mia treated us with genuine kindness and was a pleasure to talk to during our dinner. She made sure we were well taken care of and our orders were to our exact specifications. This restaurant is very lucky to have someone as good as her working there. For our appetizers, we got the Cesar Salad ($17), Parmesan on the side, and Bruschetta ($17). I also asked Mia if they bring complimentary bread to the table and she said they do, upon request. She asked if we wanted olive oil or butter and I chose butter. My son and I both enjoyed the Bruschetta and thought it tasted very good. The bread was nicely toasted and the tomatoes were seasoned well. It was also a good portion, easily shareable between 2-3 people. The salad wasn't our favorite and we've definitely had better at other restaurants. The lettuce didn't taste too fresh and the dressing wasn't really that good. The portion size was good, though. For my entrée, I got the Spicy Rigatoni ($22) but I asked for it to be light on the spice and added shrimp (+$12). It tasted fine, nothing really to write home about. I had to ask Mia to microwave it for a minute because it wasn't hot. My son ordered the Chicken Parmigiana ($23) but asked for the chicken to be grilled instead of breaded. He said he enjoyed his dish and the tomato sauce had a good amount of garlic in it. For dessert, Mia was kind enough to bring out a complimentary Key Lime Cheesecake since she found out my son is celebrating his birthday in a few days. She was seriously impeccable. Honestly, the place is just really drab and boring. There isn't much decor and it feels like a slightly elevated diner that serves beer and wine. It was a Friday night and there was no one in there/no pickup orders. We were there from about 7:30pm-10pm when they closed and only 3 other parties came in. There is no music playing, which makes the atmosphere even more drab and lifeless. Its also super cold in there and I asked Mia to adjust the AC and even after she did, it was still cold. It's not an upbeat type of place at all but the food is decent and Mia's service is the best part. She herself is 10/5 stars, but for my overall experience, I'll stick with 4 stars this time.

Four of us arrived for dinner right as the doors opened on a Saturday night, and while the food is excellent, I really wish they were open for lunch and dinner. The experience is solid old-school Italian exactly as you would expect; the interior, from the booths and tables to the decor, hasn't changed in over 50 years. This place holds deep personal significance for me. My parents used to come here, and we visited often with my stepfather when he was alive. I have great family memories tied to this space. Our meal started traditionally with a bread basket served with cold butter. Because I was saving my appetite for a food charity event later that night, I stuck with the antipasto salad, while my mom and sisters enjoyed the chicken parmigiano, chicken piccata, and veal parmigiana. The food quality remains high, and the service was great. We enjoyed quick, polite service from a server who looked after us well. It is a wonderful spot for anyone looking for a nostalgic, quality meal in a setting that feels frozen in time.
