COMPLAINT - SEPT 2019 TRAPPING USA--??PRICE GOUGING?? CAVEAT EMPTOR!! (Latin: "Buyer Beware") This complaint is regarding pest removal/attic restoration work that was done for our home. We were originally told by TRAPPING USA that the $7,300 that we paid in advance would cover "everything". The work was guaranteed--it wouldn't matter how many trips, they would make sure the problems were corrected for the full FIVE YEAR GUARANTEE on our contract. I think that Trapping USA is trying to take advantage of us old people. I already sent an online complaint to the corporate office--NO response yet. It's been 4 months. As soon as we paid TRAPPING USA IN FULL, they dropped us to the bottom of their priority list. We kept calling and calling trying to get the work completed. The workers waited until the last day to suddenly announce that it would cost COMPLAINT TRAPPING USA--??PRICE GOUGING?? CAVEAT EMPTOR!! We were originally told that the attic restoration( would take "up to 2 full days, 10-14 hours each day" (10-28 hours total). This time was supposed to be included in the total cost. The current total time is 12 1/2 hours. Trapping USA was here only 1/2 day yesterday, 8 AM-2:30 PM. Today they were here 8 1/2 hours (That equals 12 1/2 hours so far.) And they want an EXTRA $1,515 FOR THE SAME OR EVEN LESS AMOUNT OF TIME???? We are being OVER CHARGED! THIS SEEMS LIKE PRICE GOUGING. $7,300 + $1,515 + $600 extra attic access (done by a sub-contractor) = $9,415 Grand Total for 1,700 sq. ft. home. The work itself was good. It was done correctly--Our BIG complaint is that they ADDED $1,515 TO THE BILL.. We are complaining that they broke their contract. It is one thing to tell someone the total cost UP FRONT BEFORE the work is done. It is EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL to spring a substantial additional cost at the last minute. When I complained to the son of the owner, he said that he has plenty of lawyers to protect him and to bring it on. Why would he need so many lawyers?? an additional $1,515 to do some of the work above the garage. "Our trained technicians will locate how the animals get in your home and show you a solution to get them out and keep them out. Our focus is protecting your family and your home from unhealthy living conditions caused by unwelcome visitors. " I found this on their site and they sure do live by it. Not only did they do an amazing job they sure did know what they were doing. I asked a lot of questions, some which I believe would stump them but no they just kept answering everything I asked. They came in for a snake issue and they surely did resolve it!!! I had been dealing with this pesky snake on and off for the past year. It was every time I wanted to work on my yard they wanted to pop out and jump out on me. Initially when they came out they said they would pick up the snake the same day unfortunately the snake was no where to be found. But did they stop there! No they did not!!!! I asked for a 1 week trapping but during that week the young man came and periodically check out the trap and nothing. They then gave me a call and let me know so I went ahead and asked for another week. That was not an issue for them. I thought if it only comes out when I do yard work maybe I should try doing yard work. And in fact I did just that and here comes the pesky little snake. Eventually it was trapped and I called them to let them know. They came right out the same day!!!!! They informed me about a deterrent to keep the pesky animal out of my yard. Of course I got it. Needless to say my yard work will never be disturbed again!!! P.s. they even took a look inside my attic for free!!! so Glad I decided to go with this company. You will be too!!!! I had high hopes for Trapping USA, but unfortunately, my experience fell short. I hired them for a month-long service to trap and remove two coyotes that have been regularly roaming my neighborhood and particularly my backyard creek. While I understood there was no guarantee of success, I was encouraged by the promise of camera monitoring, regular trap checks, and the use of live bait. However, from day one, the execution was lacking. Despite their assurance, no live bait was ever used--just raw chicken. When I followed up, I was told they would only use live bait if coyotes were spotted on the cameras. Yet throughout the service, they claimed not to have seen a single coyote, even though I've personally encountered them multiple times, including just this morning when I came face-to-face with two large coyotes during a dog walk. I called the owner, Hunter, to express my concern and frustration. Rather than listening, he became immediately defensive, accusing me of being disrespectful and claiming I was "talking down" to him. When I asked for an example of how I was talking down to him, he couldn't give one. He continuously interrupted, raised his voice, and refused to acknowledge the aggressive tone he was using. The conversation escalated unnecessarily, and his lack of professionalism and emotional maturity was apparent. While the team did trap a fox and a few smaller animals, the main issue--the coyotes--was never addressed effectively. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Trapping USA. Their customer service was poor, and the results did not justify the $4,700.00 cost. read more

Trapping USA is as good as it gets when it comes to animal trapping and relocating services. Before I spoke with Hunter (employee of the company) I have no idea what was involved with eradicating rats. Hunter took time without making me feel like a dummy to explain the process and everything that went along with it. 1st they inspect the property, then set and deploy a strategy to trap the animals with included sealing up all the entry points. This ensured that no other animals could come in and that the ones that were already there could not escape the traps. He explained that they would come out three times a week to retrieve any animals that we caught and get rid of them. They also told me about the decontamination service that they do for the attic to help restore a sanitary living condition. I was shocked to learn how much goes into this service. The price kinda of shocked me because it seemed relatively low considering everything then provided. I would highly recommend Hunter and his team. They are professional, honest and thorough. Not sure how competitive in pricing because after engaging with this company my gut told me don't waiste time with any other company. read more

I don't know where to begin Trapping USA Saved me literally I have horrible allergies especially during these weather changes any who I have been feeling the worst and to top it off my husband thought I was crazy because I told him I was hearing noises in our walls and attic late at night. Well I called Trapping USA and a nice gentleman by the name of Hunter answered. I was telling him my problem and before I could continue my rant at how long it would take because all other companies where telling me 2 weeks the least he said no maam I will come right out today! I thought this is a joke what fee will you charge me he said no maam its a FREE INSPECTION needless to say he came out found rats and rat feces in my attic set rat traps came to check on them periodically over a 2 week period and when it was all said and done they even came to clean out my attic of what ever nastiness had been left behind by these rodents. I needed raccoons removed that were spending a lot of time on my roof. I got a reference from someone in my subdivision that had Trapping USA remove raccoons from inside their house that had torn open a hole in the roof. I called Trapping USA and spoke with Hunter Hicks. He quoted a price and service level that was reasonable and exactly what I wanted done. He was business-like on the phone. He arrived on time. We agreed on locations for the traps. Hunter scheduled multiple visits over the next couple of weeks to put fresh bait in the traps and make sure they were properly triggered. The day of a visit he would always confirm the time early in the day and later let me know when he was enroute and always show up on time. After trapping the first raccoon, the remaining raccoons in group showed up less often and after about a week stopped showing up all together. If they start showing up again I'll be gladly working with Hunter and Trapping USA again. read more

This past weekend I kept hearing noises that sounded like scratching coming from my attic. I live alone and was too scared to go up there. I didn't know where to turn so I researched online and found this company. I was afraid on the weekend they wouldn't come out. Thank goodness they did. There was a whole family and the mother just had babies not too long ago. Trapping USA was able to save all my personal belongings in the attic as well as remove those nasty rodents. I gave 5 stars to this animal removal company because they deserve it. They satisfied my needs. I was an easy customer. Being on-time to provide the squirrel removal service was my only issue. Having the squirrel removal service required several weekly visit to my home to eradicate the squirrels. I have a tight schedule and had to leave work every time they came to the property. Trapping USA was on time every time. This was important to me. I would highly recommend this company because their dealings are professional. With Trapping USA we got a serious peace of mind, actual real complete results and a certain knowledge we were not going to have any more issues that they couldn't handle for the great warranty period. We live in the Colony , Texas and called Hunter and Kyle out of the Dallas area . We just moved in a new house and had a skunk in our fireplace they were awesome . Set up the perfect trap and set the skunk free near a creek so hopefully will be ok. I called about doing an emergency dead animal removal, they had an opening, and were here within an hour and a half, and gave a courtesy call when on the way.
