    The missing pin that failed

I paid over 4 grand to have my transmission done here and they failed me!!! A .50 cent part the pin in the transmission shifter wasn't replaced and it failed while I was out of town!! All I heard when I called them is what they weren't going to do? Taking them to the BAR!!

Marty gave me a range of how much the repair could cost and gave me plenty of time to decide how to proceed.

An unparalleled experience. Unicorn service. Can I give 6-stars? Honestly, read this…read more.. Day 1, Saturday, of a four week road trip, we drove from SoCal to Pleasanton, CA and heard a clicking sound coming from the rear end once we were off the freeway and could hear again. Since we were picking up our caravan partner and heading north, we needed to find a mechanic in NorCal, along our route and nearby. We used the VanAlert app (must have!) and found Westy World in Chico. I called the number (Saturday, remember?) to leave a hopeful message that they may be able to squeeze us in on Monday for a look-see. I couldn't leave a message because Brian answered! As we discussed the issue, Brian offered to stop-by Pleasanton on SUNDAY, after a nearby Van drop-off. We met at a roadside parking lot and Brian crawled under the van to find and definitively diagnose a broken axel. If this was the end of the story, I am sure you would agree that this is a once in a lifetime automotive and humanitarian experience. It has had such a profound impact on us that we use it as the measure of the Golden Rule - we try to treat others the way Brian treated us. But the story goes on. From the parking lot Brian rallied his team back in Chico to set up an appointment on Monday to repair our axel. We are pretty sure that Westy World was not keeping a time slot open for that Monday to address our emergency. So all the other projects must have been put on hold to make our emergency their emergency. As we agreed in the parking lot on Sunday, we covered the time and expense for Kyle to DRIVE FROM CHICO TO REDDING AND BACK on Monday morning to pick up the replacement axel. When we rolled into Chico Kyle jacked up our '87 GL and completed the repair before we could finish out lunch. Everyone was mellow, untroubled, kind and very knowledgeable. What a great mindset to calm us in our moment of flexing. After our trip we checked in with our local mechanic, who verified two things: the parts used (from Burley Motosports) were the best available, and Westy World charged us as though this was a regularly scheduled appointment - no emergency premium! It is an honor to have had this experience and to have Kyle and Brian in our world. Thank you both and everyone else at Westy World that was affected by our incursion.

The guys at Boradori genuinely care about their customers and want to help you in any way they can. I know! I experienced it when I had my car serviced there. They may not be the cheapest in town, however, their prices are competitive and the best part is I know their work is top notch.. I trust their work and they back it with a 3 year warranty! I truly believe you get what you pay for. With Boradori you get more. In a time of need, they worked with me and gave me a peace of mind even after I left. I know my car is going to be ok now and I thank Cory, Jimmy and the rest of the crew for taking care of me and my SUV. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Scheisters. Avoid at all cost. Tried to scam me out of money. Took it in for an oil change, but…read morethey tell me I have another problem which is fully covered by my extended warranty then the next day after my car is left there overnight thinking they're going to cover the job Totally like they said, all of a sudden. Now they're telling me that my warranty is only paying a small portion of it even though I have 100% coverage and that I'm gonna have to pay a ton of money. they also wanted me to do a Service that was recommended and so I applied for the Credit card there because they insisted. I got approved for the Credit for more than the service amount way more so when they saw that I had extra credit available, they decided to try to tell me that my warranty wasn't gonna pay for the whole job that previously they told me was 100% covered, and that I needed to put the balance onto My Credit that was available because they saw the amount of Credit I had and they said it's no big deal because I have the Credit available, so just put it on there!!!!!! I actually had full coverage warranty, but they were upping the Price of the Repair for the warranty Repair way above the price of the cost of what it normally cost, at the warranty company. When I called the warranty company they told me that they were fully paying the entire Bill that boradori put in for, And that I shouldn't owe any money at all, except for my deductible and they told me that they were trying to scam me because it was fully covered. So I drove over there and took my car back and gave them no Service at all except the oil change that I originally went in for on a coupon, and I told them why, and that I was very upset because I didn't like to be played and all of this was because they saw that I had a higher credit limit for the Service Job that was due so intern, they decide to try to Bill me a higher Price than what the warranty pays and what they normally Bill for the Repair that needed to be done so they could just get free money so I took my car back and said forget it and gave them no business and I told them why and I was very very upset so I'm just letting you know now. Do not apply for any kind of credit there with them If you decide to actually go to this place, which would be stupid. Once they see your Credit limit They're gonna try to get you to rack up the entire Credit limit and fill it up so they can get extra money out of you. Even if it's not something needed. So make sure that you check your extended warranty if you go there and make sure that they are truly being paid for the Price. In full even on any warranty coverage. you don't want to get stuck paying them extra money because they see you have Credit available. So beware I wouldn't go there at all personally. They offered me a free oil changed to make up for all the drama and I never redeemed it ever after that. I change my oil myself now, because I'm not going to even take my car back there ever again. Buyer, beware watch out. Especially if you're Girl. They're gonna try to screw you. Luckily I'm super smart and did my homework. Also, I don't think the Credit companies should not be telling these people our Credit limits. I'm gonna call the credit company and let them know that they're doing this. they should only tell them if it's gonna cover the Service or not. They shouldn't be giving them our credit limits because that's when they start thinking They can rack up Our Bill and the guys acted like it was no big deal. They tried to say that my payment will only go from this amount to way up here to this amount which I couldn't afford anyways Even if I wanted to so I thought it was really rude. Just cause I had credit available that they thought I could just rack it up and owe all this money. Anyway, just be aware. I'm not gonna lie to Place is Nice looking inside And they do offer free Rental cars while your car is in Service, But trust me They make their money back from all the extras and scams they pull on people. Be careful. Do not go there!
