Now, you can honestly order almost anything you might need for a classic mustang, but most shops hear that you have a classic and they won't even look at it. My transmission (original) had a leak and was slipping. After calling numerous other shops, I found AllTrans. We were a little challenged in scheduling due to the Mapunapuna roads that flood (who wants to drive through that with their classic auto?) but once I was able to drop off my baby, all was well. The owner, Mike, wanted to take a look at her before I departed to ensure that it wasn't just a simple vacuum leak. Nope, tired old tranny that needed some TLC. Pricing seemed fair (my son is in the business on another island and felt pricing was reasonable, too) and communication was good as they performed a complete overhaul. When I finally headed down to pick her up after a little more than a week (I wasn't in a rush), wouldn't you know it but the neutral safety switch decided to die. I was able to order the part to ship to them directly and got a call that she was good to go the same day the part arrived. Mike had personally done the test drive to ensure that all was good and made sure I knew about some other items that he felt need to be addressed. Hopefully my baby will be good for another 50 years (LOL) but I won't hesitate to call AllTrans if I need any further work.

As a business owner one of my customer recommended me island transmission so I went to the shop and right away the owner knew it was the filter. Scheduled it the week after and he replaced the transmission filter and it was all fixed!!! Highly recommended these guys and very professional took them only 2 hours.

I agree that I did take it to a friend's shop first and he checked into the issue. He wasn't able to help because he was going out of town. When I initially contacted Neue Auto, I was told that you fixed all kinds of steering systems. My Lexus has an electronic control unit for the power steering, not a hydraulic one, like most cars. I asked specifically if this is something that you were able to do...when I initially called and when I dropped the car off. That was a SPECIFIC question. Both times I was assured that you were familiar. A whole day went by and no callback. I was told that it would take a few hours to investigate the issue and after repeatedly calling for an update, I was told that at 5pm my car was still being worked on. No callback by 6p so I DROVE down there in my other car only to find the shop locked up. It was the weekend and I did without my car and without any update. I was cool about it and Alvin finally contacted me after I left a message on Monday morning. I was NOT informed that you would not be able to perform the "calibration and [potential] programming." If this was the case and you didn't have the tools to complete the job, why in the world wouldn't I take it straight to Lexus? Let me be clear...you had the car for 3 weeks...THREE Weeks and nothing was being done. Alvin kept telling me he was trying to get in contact with someone at Lexus and get the inside on how to fix it. I got my car out of there because Alvin said you were waiting on someone trying to get a "workaround" for the programming? I have text messages and voicemails about this. Needless to say, the car was unfixed. When I picked up my car, it was FILTHY...there was dirt IN my car and the whole car was dirty. My car is my baby and it has never seen a day that it was that dirty. Alvin pulled the car out and I got in and drove 1/2 a mile before realizing the needle on the gas tank was BELOW "E." I also noticed this huge gash in my dash. That was NOT there before. I went straight to the gas station and had to fill my tank and I called Alvin about the gash. He flat out denied it and went on the defensive. I just threw my hands up and didn't argue. AT NO TIME DID I ASK for any sort of compensation. NONE! I asked for acknowledgement but he just denied it right off. I have the text of that too. I buy local to support, but given your reply, without even having a conversation with me throughout this whole 3 week ordeal, it's clear you have blind loyalty to your workers that allows you to create this false narrative often a customer who just plunked down $2600 for NOTHING. My car was the SAME as when I drove it in. AUWE!! Sidenote: Took my car in to Lexus the following Monday and it was done in 3 days. When I got my car from Neue, I asked for notes on what was done and what else needed to be done. I also asked if they could give me their Lexus contact so that that person could provide any information to the repairman at Lexus. When I picked up my car, the advisor said that the part changed by Neue was unlikely to have been necessary at all. This was a HUGE, EXPENSIVE lesson learned to do my due diligence in competency!

My husband and I had been dealing with a persistent noise during deceleration in our 2011 Toyota Camry for over a year. We took it to several shops, spent a few thousand dollars fixing "issues" that turned out to be unrelated, and still had the same problem. We eventually figured out it was coming from the transmission -- yikes! We went to another transmission shop (which I won't name), and after multiple visits and some shady back-and-forth, they quoted us $9,500 for a replacement transmission and wanted $6,000 down just to order it. Weeks later, they claimed the transmission was "lost in shipping" and offered to rebuild it for nearly the same price. Something just didn't sit right with us. Anyway, I know my truck transmission was having a problem and I was referred by a friend to there for repair. The repair took longer then expected, but in the end it runs like New. It started acting up in the fall and when I took the car back they ran their "$30,000" computer diagnostics and said nothing was wrong. After weird clunking sounds, slippages and almost plowing into the rear end of another vehicle with two feet on the brakes while waiting at a stop light (car shot forward on it's own), they finally admitted something was wrong. That was early December. Got the car back, drove it a couple times and the transmission warning light comes on. Back to Le's who says there was a fluid leak. Got it back a few weeks later, drove it a couple of times again and the transmission light comes on yet again and it's slipping again. Took it back yet again and it's been another couple of weeks and we're still waiting. Sigh! Update 2: We eventually got the car back and it was missing some of it's exterior trim. One of the guys waved and asked if I needed help and I told him I needed my safety done, he nodded and asked for the paperwork. I waved it at him and he said to give them a few minutes. Within a few minutes, they had me over to the counter getting ready to pay for the Safety, when I saw the sign "All Safety Inspections are CASH only" YIKES! The guy smiled and pointed to the credit union at the corner and said there's an ATM right there. Phew! Left my keys with them and took a short walk to get some cash. By the time I walked back, my car was sitting in the bay, and another gentleman was putting on my sticker and she was ready to go. All I had to do was pay! Definitely quick and easy!
