Great service, communication, and - most importantly - they were willing to work on my car! I drive a 1968 Ford Mustang. Now, you can honestly order almost anything you might need for a classic mustang, but most shops hear that you have a classic and they won't even look at it. My transmission (original) had a leak and was slipping. After calling numerous other shops, I found AllTrans. We were a little challenged in scheduling due to the Mapunapuna roads that flood (who wants to drive through that with their classic auto?) but once I was able to drop off my baby, all was well. The owner, Mike, wanted to take a look at her before I departed to ensure that it wasn't just a simple vacuum leak. Nope, tired old tranny that needed some TLC. Pricing seemed fair (my son is in the business on another island and felt pricing was reasonable, too) and communication was good as they performed a complete overhaul. When I finally headed down to pick her up after a little more than a week (I wasn't in a rush), wouldn't you know it but the neutral safety switch decided to die. I was able to order the part to ship to them directly and got a call that she was good to go the same day the part arrived. Mike had personally done the test drive to ensure that all was good and made sure I knew about some other items that he felt need to be addressed. Hopefully my baby will be good for another 50 years (LOL) but I won't hesitate to call AllTrans if I need any further work. read more

Awesome shop! My G35 has been shifting hard and throwing codes. I did walk in and auntie Jenny was very welcoming. They took in my car to diagnose the issue. I requested to just do a full rebuild of the transmission due to the car being 21 years old. Gave me a very reasonable quote, I agreed. and they rebuilt and reinstalled my transmission in just under 2 weeks. She now shifts butter smooth like it just came from the factory. I was shaking at speed, limped off the road into a parking lot, called half dozen shops, no luck. Total rip off greedy lying owner. They said they could fix my locked wheel. i told them another auto shop tried to fix it but the wheel just locked up again. they asked for the receipt of the auto shop. in the end, they charged me grands & did the same thing the other auto shop did...grease up the wheel which locked up again. Owner wouldn't refund my $, avoided calls, Secretary hung up on me multiple times. I told him I'll take him to court. He tried to scare me & said hell have me pay hundreds for him taking the day off. I didn't care. I took them to court then the owner wanted mediation. NO WAYS. He had his chance. He even lied in court! The judge gave me back most of my $. Never again. if they couldnt fix my brake, they shouldn't have taken car in the first place! Pure evil. read more

I just want to say a HUGE THANK YOU, to Jenny and the team at Alltrans. They came in and took care of everything from the towing to the repair of the transmission of my 2005 Nissan Pathfinder. Backstory: We had previously taken my car to another repair shop in which the shop ID it as a transmission problem, and said the transmission needed to be rebuilt but they didn't know for sure, then they quoted an outrageous price. Enter Alltrans. My coworker and my husbands coworkers all had recommended Alltrans to us. It was late in the afternoon but I figured it was worth a shot. I spoke to Jenny, told her the situation, and immediately I was put at ease knowing my car will be in good hands. Right off the bat, Jenny was knowledgeable about what we should be looking for. She spoke with my husband shortly after and made arrangements to have my car towed to the shop the very next day. Our repair took 2 weeks. They were booked out when it was towed there so the said they couldn't get to it right away. We didn't mind waiting , we were just really thankful that they were willing to take the car in, and because it meant getting the job done right. Week 1 the transmission was rebuilt but then a heater hose had a leak (apparently it's a common problem for Nissans too), so they had to get a part, but it was back ordered. Week 2: part came in and repaired then taken to Nissan to get the transmission programmed. Throughout the entire time they kept us informed with updates on the car. I just recently brought my truck to AllTrans to have them diagnose a slow to engage reverse gear and rebuild the transmission if needed, and replace the rear main seal (oil leak). Working with Jenny was a great customer service experience. After reviewing my trucks condition, I was informed that the transmission fluid smelled a little on the burnt side, and that the automatic gear selector may be malfunctioning. I have a 2002 Odyssey with 112,000+ miles. Last week the transmission was giving me problems with shifting from first to second and then onto third. It finally said enough was enough and didn't want to go into reverse. I seen the commercials and I really didn't want to get ripped off by the dealer so off I went to All Trans in Mapunapuna. I called Jen and she was very helpful and knowledgeable. She gave me a roundabout quote on the repairs and she was dead on. They also discovered an engine mount and another mount in need of replacement so they replaced them at the same time, saving money on the labor since my transmission was being pulled out anyways. Their shop is clean, easy to find & more importantly very professional. They warranty their work (12months or 12,000 miles) and I am very pleased with the outcome. This morning I ran over something stupid on the freeway (I have no idea what it was) and when I turned down my radio I realized my car, a 2014 Scion xB, was rattling while in drive and in park. This car is my little boxy baby and I was anticipating this would be a really costly repair. I called All Trans as soon as they opened and was advised I could be seen the same day at 9:45am. I work right down the street, so I took it in 15 minutes early and was actually out of there by 9:45am. The mechanic showed me exactly what was causing the rattling sound and told me it is a simple fix. I have to say, I have never experienced service as exceptional as this. took car left overnight to "test drive" which amounted to a brief test drive (I think) which cost me $150 "diagnostic fee", w/o any empirical or other data to support claim I needed a new rebuilt automatic trany. actually said "an oil change would NOT fix my problems." I felt he was full of BS. went home did an oil change w/filter (parts from dealer (OEM parts-$ 98 total)) guess what? fixed the problems! 15,000 miles later shifts like new! saved $4,600. wouldn't refund my money for so called bogus "diagnostic" services. total RIPOFF! buyer beware. read more

The woman that answered the phone and worked at the front desk was EXTREMELY kind with my circumstance. Just a quick review: I did a quick oil change for my wifes jeep on my lunch break (limited time) and she stated that the engine light came on the next day and she was having vehicle performance issues, with oil leaking. I told her i think i screw something up with the oil filter and that I would try and get to it after work. Needless to say, in a panic she brought the car to ALL Trans for them to service it (it is her primary vehicle for work). Believing that i knew what the issue was, i called All Trans to see if I could intercept the vehicle from getting any work done and do it myself adjacent to their garage. The woman who answered the phone said she would have no issue with that but had to check with her boss. When I got there the owner had just pulled up and talked with me about the situation. Instead of kicking me out his garage, he said that I could work on it but he would have it brought out in the parking lot for me...super cool of him. While i popped the hood the mechanic who initially looked at my jeep came out and watched me fumble with the oil filter and then told me the O-Ring looked off...guess what, it was...smh. I re positioned the O-Ring (he even brought out a screwdriver to help get it off) added oil, cleared the OBD2 code and walah, fixed. What was the cost? Nothing. They didn't even try to drag me into any type of bartering fee for their help. Awesome service for someone who was not even a paying customer. I got into an accident where it damaged a small part in my transmission. Before i came here i took my truck to several businesses where i was told that they were only able to fix the damaged body of my truck but couldn't fix the transmission. All of them told me that i would have to get my transmission fixed before they can work on my truck due to safety issue. So being this is my first time being in this situation I was a bit stressed, not to mention me and my family was supposed to be relocating to Texas in a month. I came across All Trans when i typed it in on Yelp because i wanted to get a quote on how much and how long it will take to get my transmission fixed before i can take it in to the auto body people. I called and Jenny answered the phone and she was very nice and told me to come in. I brought my car in and just so happen Mike was there and he came up to me and was also was nice and I explained to him my situation. The first thing he asked was if me and my family was ok because he seen the damage on my truck. Then I explained my frustration of finding a place to fix the collision damage and the transmission. I don't usually write Yelp reviews, but this instance infuriated me to such an extent that I decided it was necessary. My vehicle was having transmission issues. The vehicle leaked transmission fluid, followed by gear slippage. The vehicle only had 65k miles. They stated that the transmission had to be rebuilt with a price tag of up to $2,500. Lucky for me I decided to get a second opinion on the matter. The second mechanic stated there was nothing wrong with the transmission, and it has been running fine (1 year later) since the transmission fluid was filled. All Trans either lied about the vehicle needing a transmission rebuild or didn't do the proper homework to determine if the transmission actually needed to be rebuilt. Unfortunately it's hard to find a honest mechanic these days, but I can say All Trans isn't one of those. Take your vehicle here at your own risk... UPDATE: 4 months later.... the owner or an employee of All Trans has been calling my work harassing me and using bullying tactics (on 4 different occasions) to get me to take down the review. He has been requesting to speak to my supervisor, which he has done, he then requested to speak to my supervisor's supervisor. Makes one wonder how many other reviews they've succeeded in doing this to. This review is not coming down, and the bullying tactics will not encourage me to remove it. read more

These crooks wanted to charge me over $2000 because they claimed I needed my transmission rebuilt. Luckily I declined & took my car to another shop. It was just a leaky drain plug. $75 and an honest mechanic later & my car runs like new. AVOID this place like the plague unless you feel like being taken advantage of! ***Update*** Now some guy from this shop named Michael F. on here is harassing me because I left them a very deserved bad review! It was probably just a matter of time before the automatic transmission on my trusty Suzuki Esteem wagon (with close to 200K miles) started to go bad - leaking fluid, and some shifting problems when the fluid ran low. I tried calling one shop and they wouldn't go near it - too hard to get parts, he said. He referred me to another shop, who didn't pick up the phone when I called. Fail. It was then that I recalled seeing some TV spots for All Trans. What clinched the choice in my mind was that it was close to Servco Auto Center, so it *should* be that much easier to get parts if needed. From the initial phone call, Jen, the front office person, was very helpful. She and the technician who did the initial diagnostic were knowledgeable and laid out my options well. They were confident in their ability to get the parts and get it done - and get it done they did. The only thing that keeps it from a 5-star was it taking a little longer than originally estimated - apparently issues were found during the test drive. I was offered a loaner for the weekend, which I accepted, so it eased my mind a bit. But the extra two days were worth it as it came back in good condition. And, in the bigger scheme of things, it would have been much better than getting it back and then noticing the problem later and having to take it back to them. Good on them. Well, it's been a week and so far so good. No puddles on the garage floor, the transmission shifts as smooth as silk, and it has pick-up-and-go that it used to have. I think it may have also regained some fuel economy. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys for tranny work, as these guys gave my car a new lease on life. read more

My beloved 2005 Matrix's clutch wore out. I saw the commercials and a couple of friends said I should go to All Trans. I am so happy I did! Jen and Mike are fun, friendly, knowledgeable people. Shop is bright and clean. They recommended the same part my friends said I should think about getting: Exedy Stage-1. Price was the same as on Amazon, so I was getting fair market pricing. Car was finished quicker than quoted, even though they were swamped when I dropped it off, without an appointment or anything. Quoted price was exactly the final price. Clutch has been run for two weeks now and even through the "breaking in" period, I can tell the parts and labor are excellent. Love my new-feeling car, and the total experience with All Trans. After 9 months of sitting in front of my house I decided to fix my old 2000 Honda Accord Coupe V6 so my nephew can use it to drive to school and work. I call Jen and she was great in giving me information in what would be require to get the car up and running again. I describe the problem to her and over the phone she gave me a quote and a time frame when the work would be completed. Not only was the job done in only a few days, it came very close to the projected quote. I'm also really glad to know that with the repairs, the work is guarantee for one year/12,000 miles. (The car also had a problem with a sticky gas petal and they fix that with no charge.) The shop is very clean and pretty easy to find. Being my first transmission shop, I would say that it has been a great first experience thus far. I have been there about three or four times within the past few months, and All Trans has provided me with nothing but fast and friendly service. When I first spoke with Jenny (the receptionist there), she made me feel like we were old friends. She was very personable and I immediately got a sense that this company actually cared about its customers and their satisfaction. The service itself is quick and thorough. Rather than just giving you a bill and leaving you with many unanswered questions, they break down every issue and the billing as soon as they figure it out. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to meet Mike, so I can't write a review based on my experience with him.
