Tram Coffee is one of my favorite spots in OC for Vietnamese coffee. Their coffee is always strong, bold, and packed with flavor, definitely one of the better places if you enjoy authentic Vietnamese coffee. I especially like this location because of the natural lighting from the large open windows, plus they have plenty of outlets, which makes it a great spot for students or anyone working on their laptop. They play fun Vietnamese music, which adds to the overall vibe. It can get a little loud when the café is busy, but there's still a decent amount of seating available. Another thing I appreciate is how quick the service is, even when they're busy, and the staff is always kind and welcoming. Parking is easy, and having a drive-thru makes it even more convenient. My go-to order here is the Salted Cream Coffee, highly recommend trying it. I also like that you can customize the sweetness level: regular, more sweet, or less sweet depending on your preference. read more

The service was wild. I had a question for the cashier about a drink and I wanted to order with them, but they ignored me for 10 minutes hoping I'd use the kiosk. When I finally placed an order and it was prepared, they don't actually call names or write names on the cups or attach any names to the receipt stickers, so I had no idea if it was my order and it took several minutes to ask them. I've heard a lot about Tram Coffee , but this was my first time visiting. I ordered the VIP Coffee and the Tropical Fruit Drink. My impression was that the coffee here is strong and flavorful , perfect when you're feeling sleepy because it wakes you up right away! That was one of the highlights for me. Finally got a chance to stop by tram. This review is being written after we have gone back a few times. They have many different options for coffee and a few for matcha, if that is what you are looking for. Staff is very friendly, had a nice conversation with them. We have tried a few of their coffees, and they are STRONG. So if you are not used to vietnamese coffee, be warned. They are all delicious, so you cant go wrong. Our go to matcha drink, is the matchahaya. The first time we got it, it was a bit icy and lacking in flavor. Since then, the drink has been perfect. Great matcha flavor, and not too sweet. I had the coconut coffee cuz I'm thinking of DaNang right now and he tried the egg coffee, both iced. Not bad at all. Enjoyed the flavors and just enough ice so that I got to enjoy more than a few sips. I like the decor and color combo. Service was good and quick. WiFi info is on your receipt. One of the things Tram Cream Coffee has done well is making Vietnamese coffee appealing for Gen Z and Alpha teenagers. Drinking: Hanoi cream coffee (3/5) was strong but did not have much flavor from the egg topping barely brushed on the sides of the cup. Service: (2/5): Probably one of the biggest areas of improvement Tram Cream needs help with. There is an order machine that is awkwardly placed in front by the cashier area and dining table. When I walked in there were two people waiting behind the machine and it malfunctioned. I was trying to find a place to stand or ask for assistance but there was no clear marker/person yet. It wasn't long until an employee came to the cashier and supported the customers. Ambiance: (3/5) the menu is quite extensive with a range of fruit teas, banh mi, appetizers, and coffee drinks. The cafe itself is pretty spacious with a decent amount of tables. I enjoyed their Matchahaya which is an ice-blended matcha mix with Tram's signature cream. It's icy and refreshing. I also like their Tropical Fruit Tea, which comes in a HUGE cup! It has Jasmine and Oolong tea, fresh fruit, pineapple and mango jam, and rainbow jelly. There's a lot going on in this drink, but if you don't mind a drink with toppings, then this one's for you! Tram also has a variety of Vietnamese coffee drinks. They have everything from cream coffees to egg coffees and more. All of their coffees are phin-filtered. One thing that stood out to me was their food items! I haven't seen Rice Paper or Corn Sticky Rice dishes on a coffee shop menu before! It was my first time having both. The Vietnamese Mixed Rice Paper dish has mixed rice paper with beef jerky, dried shrimp, quail egg, mango, and Vietnamese coriander. The Corn Sticky Rice has corn mixed and covered with mung beans and topped with fried onions. It comes with a packet of sugar on the side. I really like their Crispy Fried Soft Tofu! my friend and i stopped by here to do some studying - the inside was clean and spacious. there were tables and outlets, good for studying or just chilling around - we got the banafe and the strawberry matcha. the banafe (4.3/5) was strong on the coffee and it paired well with the banana flavor. however, it was a bit on the sweeter side so i wished there were sugar adjustments. the strawberry matcha (4/5) did have a powder aftertaste and it was on the sweeter side as well. there wasn't an alternative for oat milk which we were bummed on but it was still a consumerable drink - we got our drinks pretty quickly and the workers assisted us to our needs overall, this was a nice coffee place to try out in the oc area read more

I tried out their house special milk tea and saigon coffee hot. Both items were fragrant and excellent. The former pretty sweet even when ordered at 75% sweetness. It has a very floral forward taste so not best for those seeking something more assam tea like. I liked how much boba and grass jelly it contained. Made for a fun drink to sip on. The saigon coffee was a hit with my mom. It's one of the few things that's available as a hot option except with a 0.50c surcharge. Delicious! Somehow I do feel like the coffee to coconut ratio feels off. If i mixed it, I wouldn't taste the coffee but if I didn't (which i didn't) all the coffee was slurped up in the straw within the first couple sips. The shop was filled with a warm and welcoming atmosphere with all the cute corners that have outlets to study near! I love how there's so many outlets no matter where you sit and there's so many throw pillows to comfortably sit on or with. The drinks themselves are all pretty good! Their fruit drinks are nicely balanced with sweetness and bitterness of the teas--the same can be said for their milk teas. Their coffee section of the menu is so good--I've never tasted such strong and richness of Vietnamese coffee. Seriously hits more than Lee's and DaVien! They have varying flavor profiles for every coffee drink they have and it all fits with each other perfectly. Their matcha isn't that bad either. Tastes like adequate matcha, but not as authentic as Japanese matcha from other places that specialize in matcha. Still a good try though! Today was an amazing day I met moon, tiko and her father all in one location Besides the tik tok celebrities I met, I had a good time winning a prize from the claw machine (a hat). The drinks tho? On another level. I ordered a matcha drink and got one for free! I would say their matcha drinks are better than the ones you would get from Starbucks. Starbucks matcha drinks are preloaded with a ton of sugar and doesn't taste that good in comparison with tram's matcha. Honestly, I was gaining weight with Starbucks matcha because of all the sugar! Fun fact, Starbucks matcha has more sugar than matcha per scoop (in the US). Such a disappointment today. This spot has been my weekly go to whenever I crave a tropical fruit drink, and the portions are usually great. Unfortunately, whoever made my drink today filled the cup with about 80% ice. Because I order this so often, the lack of consistency was really obvious, the flavor was totally diluted and I only got about three sips of actual juice before it was gone. The banafe looks like it would be good, but the coffee was super bitter and the pudding wouldn't mix well and then the banana flavor or liquor was very strong. It just didn't mesh well. A family member introduced me to their Vietnamese iced coffee, and I absolutely love the Creamy Hanoi. The major issue....and the reason I stopped coming here...is the value. Tram Cream Coffee is the latest edition to the sprawling Vietnamese coffee scene located the Westminster/Garden Grove area. I finally got the chance to stop by after they had their grand opening last month. I ordered the Egg Coffee and croissant with egg cream filling. First off, if you're a fan of stronger Vietnamese coffee, then this drink is for you. It was made first and super watered down by the time they handed it to us. It's crushed ice so it melts faster, and though VERY LIGHT ICE was acknowledged, more than a quarter of the cup was filled with ice.
