3 liter buckets with full topping!
    Melanie L.

Haven't tried the food here but have been here twice for the drinks. First time I came for the full topping liter bucket and they were out of toppings that day. I got the lotus flower tee which was nice but not super memorable. But then this time they had the toppings! And I tried their new roasted rice tea with lowest sugar and all the toppings and it was SO SO good. This was the reason for coming back and all the different fun jello toppings are such a nice treat to hunt for in the bucket. Was shocked to finish almost the full bucket in one sitting but if you wanted to you could definitely stretch it out over a few days. Cute place!

We drive 1.5 hours from San Diego just to eat here and we've done it 4 times in the last 2 months. That says everything. Their lẩu Thái is unmatched and tastes just like home for me. I also always add flan to my drinks and it's so good. The space is comfortable, food is amazing, and service is great. 100% worth the drive.

Hippo Loco what a cool little shop. The drinks are supper cute with their edible Labubus. This authentic little shop grab my attention. I drove from San Diego to this location to try their Labubu drinks. I was not disappointed! The drinks were delicious and the Labubus made it all so very adventurous. The staff is super helpful. A great place to come!

Me and my daughter love here and today she got a capybara for a bucket full topping she reallt like it. Thanks for take my order too late. Salted plum so tasty

Unassuming little plaza, plentiful parking. Cute ambiance inside, customer service appropriate. Opted for the milk tea drink with all the jellies! Cute and fun concept! Each jelly had a hint of different flavors, for example the cheese one had a hint of cheese flavor, the pig shape had a chocolate filling, one had a brown sugar taste, one was a hint on the fruity side, boba was as expected. I enjoyed the milk tea, was on the nutty side. I would def come back to bring my little nieces and nephews or cousins from out of town to experience a happy boba drink. Sometimes it's nice to spruce up your day with cuteness! Their instagram account will post when they will serve special edition shapes like Labubu's ! I plan to go for that !

Came back again due to all the advertising. Disappointed. Paid $12 for this bucket of ice and hard bobas and 1 cheese topping. Would not recommend to anyone

Came here a few years ago before they rebranded & I have to say I prefer the old interior/aesthetic tbh :') However, it seems to be a well-known cafe in the viet community. Not lactose-intolerant friendly as they don't have milk alternatives RIP ORDERED: - Green Thai Milk Tea - my absolute fave! perfectly balanced & sweet enough, very fragrant tasting - Matcha Milk Tea with Cheese Foam - not great but not bad, asked for extra sweetener as it's not strong tasting, wish matcha was stronger - Cup Full Topping of Secret Flower Milk Tea (1 liter) - pretty diluted but we let it sit for long oops, floral taste with lots of cute and unique toppings - Milo bucket - way too sweet and too many flavors/textures going on, also kinda icy so everything tastes melted or watery, good for sharing & families with kids

First time ordering out of state shipping orders from them and did not disappoint. I didn't stop by the store few years ago when we were in town visiting because of the mix reviews and I thought they would specialize in ramen vs milktea. So glad they decided to try out with out of state shipping orders. The milktea were pretty good surprisingly. Pretty condensed down so a bottle is worth 2 cups if you water down with ice. I feel like the sweetness was good enough with ice. Not terribly just sugar taste. I love the secret flower tea so much. It's so fragrant and strong. The hippo signature milktea was pretty good as well and that didn't disappoint me as their signature drink. I love the details of the toppings. Feel like too cute to eat them. Kinda sad the cheese foam topping got mixed in with other topping so I couldn't do a good photo on that topping box. Overall I think it's good to give them a try even if you live out of state like me. Yes overnight shipping cost is a bit much but it's a lot cheaper than a flight ticket lol :) I would definitely order more in the future. Check them out in FB to order or call the store. The owner is super sweet and responsive.

I heard about this place after her friend of mine told me about all their unique toppings they offer with their drinks, including any Labubu shaped topping. However, for my first time I wanted to go with their signature milk tea with boba and popcorn chicken. Their milk tea was good, a little on the sweet side, but I forgot to ask for adjustments. The boba was fresh and chewy, and well done. I really enjoy their popcorn chicken dish. It was the right ratio of breading to chicken, and it was fried very well giving each piece an even texture. I also really liked that they weren't heavy-handed with the powdered seasoning, and the basil in the dish really came through. The store itself is pretty spacious inside with a few tables. It has a sort of cutesy design, but it was still clean and modern appearing. Service was great as well.

    All the flavors and toppings.

I ordered from out of state, and it arrived overnight - super fast shipping! The drinks were still cold and fresh when I received them. The flavors are amazing, especially the Thai green milk tea- it's perfectly balanced, creamy, and just the right amount of sweetness. It's honestly my perfect taste! And the toppings...oh my gosh, they're freaking cute and delicious! Each one has its own texture : chewy, flavorful, and so satisfying. The adorable designs make everything even more fun to eat. Their customer service is also wonderful -- very friendly, polite, and quick to respond to messages. You can really tell they care about their customers. Overall, I'm super happy with my order -- from the packaging to the taste to the service, everything was perfect. Definitely ordering again soon!

Cute little boba/snack shop. Their food and drinks are really good. Love the popcorn chicken, as well as their fish balls and sausage skewers. Had their caramel coffee and it was pretty good. Definitely want to go back to try some of their signature drinks. Definitely worth checking out!

I give it 2 stars because if the labubu jello, like $2.50, tasted so bad , hard jello, gross, but looks cute . We ordered 3 different noodles from the menu , all came out tasted same and look the same. We asked the waitress, she's nice, she said they were out of certain veggies.well noodles still nothing special. All four drinks were just like sugar water. Tell me what's the hype here? Will not be coming back, such a waste of our time and money

    Trinny T.

I came here to try the $18 bucket. Although I think $18 is more expensive than the $12 bucket from Unu but the store has such cute bucket that has a straw hole. They also gave a lot of toppings for the bucket. I thought I ate all the toppings but still found more at the bottom. I chose Thai green tea and didn't expect much from the tea. But the tea was actually also fragrant and full of tea flavor. The preparation takes a while though even though the shop had a few customers. I waited for about 10 minutes to get my drink. I would go back to get another tea to try. Definitely recommend

Walking into the shop, you're greeted with a dark gray concrete vibe with plenty of matching decor. They've also got a nice little patio to just rest and relax at while you enjoy your drinks. I've had a few pretty deep conversations coming out of this place. Okay, even though I did come to a coffee shop, I did end up getting a hojicha latte that was roasty, nutty, and delicious alongside the vanilla notes that they add. Great choice for some of you who don't do so well with caffeine. It's easy to drink, and thoughtfully prepared! I got something a little different. It was a strawberry co-ferment espresso in a cappuccino ratio. You could really taste that strawberry come through, and having it hot and with milk was a perfect choice. Fruity, complex, and funky! Love to see places serving co-ferments. I don't think it's over-played in specialty coffee, and I do appreciate having the option! And, I didn't get it today, but getting a fancy pour-over at this spot really hits. If you coffee sweats like the fun stuff, you'll have plenty of that here! If you're looking for both fun coffee and great day, no doubt you should check out Re Ca Phe!

The workers are really nice and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I tried their Earl Grey Matcha Latte, and it's honestly one of the best I've had. Not many places offer this combination, so whenever I see it on a menu, I have to try it. What I really liked about this one is how well balanced it is. The earl grey is light enough that it doesn't overpower the matcha, so you can actually taste both flavors clearly without one taking over the other. The Hojicha Vanilla Cream Latte was also really good. The cream on top was silky, smooth, and rich, adding a nice layer of sweetness that paired well with the roasted, nutty flavor of the hojicha. It made the drink feel really comforting and well put together.

I usually don't order banana matcha from other places because it tends to be too sweet or has that weird artificial, almost Laffy Taffy kind of aftertaste. But this one was completely different. It wasn't overly sweet, and you can tell they use fresh bananas. The flavor was really balanced with a light tropical taste, and the matcha still came through nicely without being too strong or getting overpowered. Everything blended really well together. I also wanted to mention how kind the baristas are. I was waiting outside so I wouldn't block the entrance in case other customers came in, and as I was waiting, the barista brought out my drink. Luckily there was no line on a Saturday afternoon. I got the Dex matcha delight with oat milk and less ice. I like how strong the matcha drink is, but you can still taste some of the cinnamon. For the price of the drink it's a bit sad how much you get. It makes me wonder how much ice they use by default and how that could really dilute the drink. I also got the vanilla latte which was pretty good and strong. Same story with the amount you get. I posted some photos as a reference after just taking a sip to try both drinks. Staff was nice and the interior was clean. Parking is spacious and was not much of an issue. Overall, this is place is about a 3.5 star for me. I've been to a bunch of other coffee shops with a similar flavor profile and quality, but at a better price point. I may come back in the future to try their other drinks, but it won't be one of my regular places.

I have this belief that if a bakery has a perfect chocolate chip cookie, everything else is great. Paderias is a 9 out of 10 for me and it never disappoints. My 2nd fav is their triple chocolate. Those two are hands down my all time picks.
