This was a hidden find for me because I usually don't see them on the recommendations when searching for restaurants. We got the steak and fries along with the banh mi chao. And both were so good. The portions are also great, we were both full with some leftovers. The service was excellent, she let us know there were some items that weren't on the menu yet. Got a drink here and it was also really great. Definition of what you would expect from Vietnamese coffee. The place is a nice and spacious with both indoor and outdoor seating. I'm sad that they usually close by 5PM bc I would love to come back during dinner.
Service was really good and our food was delish as well! I didn't get to try their coffee because I had already got coffee early in the morning but it looks like alot of people come for tea or coffee.
If you're looking for a brunch spot around Bolsa that serves a variety of dishes, this is a good spot for everyone. Serves anything from Bo Ne to Ca Kho To, there's something for everyone. It can get really crowded especially during weekends so i recommend staying away from 10:30-12pm. There's such a rush that sometimes they just pop up tables anywhere, including right in front on the sidewalk.

Love a traditional Vietnamese restaurant that offers Vietnamese comfort foods. Fair warning - service is incredibly slow, but the food and drinks are decent. Parking: There's a busy parking lot, so finding a spot can be a hit or miss. Ambiance/Environment: My family and I visited on a Sunday afternoon during their lunch rush. They have a small indoor space with a decent amount of table/booth seating. They also have some outdoor seating. Tables and chairs are clean. Service: We placed our names on the wait list, and we were seated within 10 min. Our server was nice and efficient. We weren't really checked on, and it became difficult to wave someone down. Throughput took an excessively long time. We were seated at 11:56 and ordered at 12:11. Some of our drinks arrived at different times 12:28, 12:33, 12:42, and 13:15. They forgot one of our drinks, hence why it arrived way later. Appetizers finally arrived at 12:43. Our pho bowls also arrived at 12:44, and one Lomo Saltado dish at 12:47. The other half of our party were still waiting for their dishes. We already finished our food, and the other dishes still haven't arrived. One of the servers admitted they have a small kitchen, and they were backed up on orders. The remaining dishes finally arrived at 13:46 and 13:52. Food & drinks: 1) Pho Dac Biet - Beef noodle soup. I'm very picky with my pho broths, and I actually enjoyed their broths. It wasn't too salty or contained anything extra. There's a good amount of protein and noodles topped with chopped green onions. They also give you the usual basils, bean sprouts, limes, and jalapeños. 2) Bot Chien Trung - Crispy flour cake and eggs. The flour cakes were definitely crispy and fried well. This is shareable between 2-4 people. 3) Bo Luc Lac - Shaken beef with with rice, fried egg, and salad. My mom ordered this. She thought it was okay. The beef was a bit too salty for her, and everything else tasted as expected. 4) Lomo Saltado - Shaken beef with fries, rice, tomatoes, and fried egg. My aunt and brother ordered this. They also thought this was okay. The beef was seasoned well, but some pieces were overcooked. The sides tasted as expected. The fries could use some seasoning. The green sauce was watery, but paired well with the beef. 5) Sua Da with matcha sea salt cream - Espresso with condensed milk and topped with match sea salt cream. My other aunt and I really enjoyed their Vietnamese coffee. It was strong, creamy, and sweet. I couldn't taste the matcha sea salt foam. It wasn't thick, so it disappeared after a few stirs. 6) Strawberry Smoothie - My sister ordered this. She said it was refreshing, and tasted as expected. 7) Passion Fruit - My aunt ordered this. She said it was fruity and refreshing. A bit sweeter than preferred, but it was good. Pricing: The main reason for the stars off were for the slow service and decent tasting dishes. The menu can be overwhelming to look at. This restaurant might be taking on more than they can handle. I enjoyed my pho bowl and coffee. Although presentation looks great, some dishes can use some adjustments.

The iced coffee is very rich and tasty. They do offer indoor and outdoor dining. Friendly service. Easy parking.
If you're looking for delicious Vietnamese breakfast with a homie vibe, Den Da is the place to visit. There is a small area of inside dining but a sizable outside area with tent covering. We ordered the rib eye, xiu mai, combination pho and a Thai ice tea. The rib eye was tender, savory, and pairs perfectly with a baguette. The gravy was the perfect finishing touch on top. The xiu mai was very flavorful, although a bit greasy if you're with that. It's hearty and satisfies anyone with a big appetite. The pho was pretty standard, but that doesn't mean it's not worthwhile. If you just need something hot to warm the belly, it is the perfect order. Service was quick, friendly and helpful with questions we had. Parking could be a challenge since parking spots are pretty limited.

We got the salted egg pasta with scallops and crab, crab udon soup, salted matcha, passion fruit green tea, shaken beef with rice macaroni, salmon hot plate Everything is very flavorful, good portion to share! Dear Den Da, I always wanted to come saw the place closed at night. Finally made morning coffee and brekkie here. The shaken beef and noodles are amazing, I just hope I can replace noods next time with another type. I tried my hubbys dish and would love to try that too. Service is great and kind, gave us time to check on what we want to drink and eat. Waved over and ordered, got our food in quick time and got filled quickly too. Drinks are yummy have the latte caramel grass jelly is delicious a must for those into this combo drink. Not super sweet but all the flavors are wonderful. Parking is kinda hard to get around but can get lucky near the place. Atmosphere inside is nice and music is good and seating is good too. Outside seating for smokers too and right now with heat good to avoid got my pale skin haha
My husband has been talking about this place after visiting with his friend and I had my doubts but I'm surprised at how much I did enjoy the food here. I ordered the bo ne and their signature sauce was okay. What stole the show for me was the quality of meat and the portion. As for someone who doesnt eat carbs much this plate satisfied me. Other places with bo ne have been skimpy with their meat. This plate came with a side salad, their yellow cheese sauce, and banh mi ( u can sub this for another salad) although i wish they had different option for sauce like how mon ami had it! Cant wait to come back and try other dishes.
Love this place! The salted egg dishes are so good! And the drinks are amazing. We ordered couple dishes and we love them all! The glass noodle with short ribs are amazingly delicious. The banh mi is full of deliciousness inside and we enjoyed every single bite of it. Servers are so friendly, server the food carefully and noticed what you need. Huge parking lot in the plaza and outdoor seating available too. Will definitely come back soon for more.
Came here for the Vietnamese coffee. We tried Sữa Đá and Sữa Đá with sea salt cream. The coffee was on the sweeter side but still really good, and the sea salt cream was smooth. The place has a very Vietnamese vibe with outdoor seating. We didn't try the food yet, but the bò né looked amazing, sizzling on a hot cast iron plate with steam coming up. I'd definitely come back to try the food.
My dad and I came for breakfast. It's a really fun environment. There's tables outside where people sit and have drinks and tables inside that are a bit bigger and meant for dining. We ordered an iced milk coffee to share and got a couple steak and egg dishes. Both dishes came with Vietnamese French bread for dipping, butter, small side salad on the side. On the actually sizzling platter was steak, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, eggs, a pat of pate, and the yummy sauce. - Ribeye Bo Ne $24: it's a big hunk of meat. Very tender and like the typical ribeye, very marbled/visible fat. - Filet Bo Ne $19: I preferred this one. Not as tender as ribeye but still very soft. Soft enough for my 80 year old dad to eat. The flavor is good. - Iced milk coffee: perfect once you let the ice melt a bit - Free iced tea: great!! Service was very good. They were sweet and gave us anything we asked for very quickly. Host and servers were very prompt and attentive. I was recommended the banh mi chao and was not disappointed. I could only finish half but it was savory and sweet and came out bubbling hot with freshly baked banh mi. The avocado smoothie with coffee was perfect blend of bliss for me where it wasn't sweet and had slight bitterness from the coffee. It was crowded when we came but the turnaround was quick and I didn't feel that it was loud where I had to yell across the table. Definitely would return as pricing is affordable and variety of food and drinks offered with great service. read more

This place is THE definition of a true neighborhood gem in Westminster. They've been serving up delicious coffee and drinks and Viet comfort food for over 7 years now and are a literal hidden gem tucked away in the back of the plaza, and they've also got the cutest outdoor patio. And you know the food is about to HIT when all you see are old timers there. They're usually popping off in the morning or during lunch but I went in the afternoon to avoid the crowds. You can get your pho fix here, but trust me when I say the Bo ne, which is ribeye steak that comes on a sizzling hot plate, is a must-order. Rip off a piece of freshly-baked baguette, dip it in the amazing umami gravy with steak juices, add a dollop of mushrooms and steak on top, and that's how the locals do it. Den Da is truly a hidden gem in OC! The sizzling bo ne was definitely a standout. The ribeye was cooked perfectly and it paired really well with rich pate and a runny egg that ties everything together when you dip the bread in. The shaking beef with garlic noodles was another favorite, super savory and garlicky. Their pho was comforting and aromatic and came out piping hot in this cold weather. The drinks are just as impressive. The cà phê sữa đá was strong and smooth, and the avocado and durian smoothie were creamy... it was our favorite. You can tell everything is freshly made here. Great food, great drinks, and a relaxed cafe atmosphere make Den Da a spot we will definitely come back to. Service is very quick too. Perfect for a casual meal, study session, or catching up with friends. Highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area. read more

This is my go to place in the morning after surfing. The staff is friendly and accommodating. They have a large variety on the menu. Their ribeye on a skillet is legit. My favorite is their Canh bun and Bun Rieu. Gotta try the tongue fried rice. They also have the best ice coffee in town. I highly recommend this place when you are in Little Saigon area. Terrible service. The lady at the front desk assuming she's the owner did not honor the coupon on the 24hr fitness perks. I have used the 24hr fitness perks offered at several local locations offered without an issue. When I showed her the coupon on there, she was so agitated saying it was a scam and didn't care to honor it. Claiming that she doesn't know who it is. Ok??? read more

Their outdoor dining reminds me of coffee shops in Vietnam. I believe this is a family owned business. They are very attentive and welcoming. We ordered a variety of their hot and color drinks. Each one was well balanced in flavor, strong, and good. The banh mi dac biet is not your typical staple. It was like meat wrapped with egg, and honestly we did not enjoy it. I would stick to the drinks. Their coffee is worth the trip though. read more

I like it because the coffee is made just the way I like it. The only thing is that the owner's face always looks very irritated, unhappy, and stressed to the point that the staff also seem stressed. Even customers like me feel stressed every time we meet her. When business is lucky, it may not matter, but when it goes down, it can decline very quickly. I advise the shop owner and her husband to change the way they treat customers. When running a business, one should be cheerful and welcoming to customers so that they feel motivated to support the shop. read more

Heard from a friend about Den Da Coffee and Tea restaurant and had to check it out. The restaurant is hidden in a corner of small plaza in Little Saigon. There's outdoor dining area too. Inside is small but clean and trendy. We got a few of their brunch items and they are very good. However, I was craving for bun cha gio thit nuong tom (grilled pork, shrimp with eggroll and noodles/salad) and it was light, flavorful and refreshing. Their special iced coffee is strong and addicting. I really enjoyed their avocado/durian shake. Love that they put enough durian for me to taste it as opposed to other restaurants. The service is good too. It's a small family owned restaurant and love seeing them working together to serve their customers. Can't wait to come back. read more

Just a small restaurant at the back of a many restaurant around, They use the back alley for outdoor dining, which happens to end up being fairly nice. Too bad they allow their guests to smoke outside in the dining area. As a non-smoker and averse to cigarette smoke that is something I don't like very much. My friend recommended to me that the vermicelli soup ( bún riêu) here is delicious but in my opinion it is not completely traditional and not very impressive to me. However, it is also quite okay if you are not a perfectionist about understanding traditional Vietnamese dishes. The guy waitresses were friendly enough but the lady seems an owner not handling the customer's request skillfully. At that time, the restaurant was not too crowded while , I did not want to sit near the entrance door because I was afraid of being cold. I asked to sit inside but they did not let us in just because there were two of us. They said to reserve that table for four people or more, but then there were no customers. The people who came after us were seated at the table inside, they also only had two people. That did not score points in my eyes. read more

Food// Salmon skillet (Cả Salmon) was delicious and highly recommend because it comes with a small bowl of veggies and super crispy baguette! One of the best baguettes I've eaten. It comes with a small packaged butter. Both salmon and beef skillets contain the same sauce with an egg, couple of potatoes, onions, mushrooms and garnish of parsley and green onion. The medium rare beef skillet wasn't as sizzling hot as expected and prob because we asked for medium rare but would have preferred that. Clear noodle seafood stir fry had a couple of mussels and bits of scallop. Not bad. Service// Nice staff. Attentive to refilling my water and bringing extra plates. Ambiance// Not a whole lot of seating inside but not that limited either since there are tables and chairs outside too. Only downside is for me was the smoking. We arrived at 1:15om on Sunday, 9/14/25 and immediately placed our order, however, it still took 30 min for the foods to come out. A table next to us with 6 pp had called the waitress out to complain about having to wait 1 hour for foods twice. Two out of three in our party said No to whether to return after taking a couple bite of their order of Canh Bún and Bò Kho (bánh mì). * Canh Bún was so bad that the customer only ate a few spoonfuls, the noodle was colored and turned into yellowish-Turmeric like. * Bò Kho was chewy and tasteless, the french baguette was hard and very dried, * Bột Chiên Trứng was a okay according to third customer. I love bo ne!! ( beef skillet). Den Da 's bo ne has their own unique style . I think they use fillet mignon. Nice seasoning. How ever both dishes didn't come out as hot as I expected. I like how they include the salad on the side for my Bo ne. Banh mi xiu mai ( meatball) didnt include the side salad, however there are more toppings for this dish. Overall: 3.5/5 in my opnion.
