I guess I was here on an off night. AND certainly I have empathy for the plight of restaurants and servers as of late, but an hour and a half for fries, salad, and wings is slightly outrageous. We had to order the wings THREE times before the kitchen received the order. Why? Someone new. OK. but, 30 mins ago when same server forgot to order them with the first input and was so apologetic and "ordered" them again, and, please wait "10-15 mins max," still no wings. Food was good. Super friendly, patient staff (we couldn't make up our minds), amazing vegan food that my non-vegan partner also loved! We live in Santa Fe but made the trip to Albuquerque this "back" way to stop here! We will be taking the long way to Albuquerque from now on! They had a special of cauliflower buffalo "wings" with vegan ranch that were the best I've ever had! (And I've had a lot...) I hope they find their way onto the permanent menu because I can't imagine not eating those every time I return. After a drive from Alamogordo and shopping in the big city. (Albuquerque) What a delicious surprise to find a homie pizza place. After a short drive to Cedar Crest, we enjoyed pizza and an adult beverage for a late lunch. The crust was baked to perfection and the sauce was just sweet and thick enough. We have never had that much pepperoni on a slice of pie. Elton the owner came by to insure we were pleased with our selection. The food was DELICIOUS!! We all got different things and we all were impressed! We would definitely go again. Took off one star for the wait, after ordering, we waited almost an hour for the food to come to the table. It was not busy, in fact other than us, there was only a couple who were waiting for a to go order ( and they waited almost as long) and 2 people came in to pick up a pizza each to go. Absolutely solid pizza. I live in SF now, but used to live in Tijeras and would stop by the original location (a trailer if I remember) often to pick up a large pie with green chile and pepperoni. It was always perfect and my kids loved it. I miss this pizza very much and when I returned to the East Mountains for a weekend trip back in November, my GF and I stopped by the new location. I cannot wait for this place to expand and have a real location that isn't a trailer. I hadn't been here before because it is known for taking a little while, but had the time this Sunday. I ordered a slice of pizza and the green chili cheese bread. I enjoyed both and was surprised at the size of the bread, I didn't expect basically a small pizza without sauce. It was good. Service does take a while, so order ahead. They should soon be moving close to the triangle grocery store and I look forward to how they change. Just met the owner at Polk's Folly farm across the street (great fresh farm produce/local goods, etc) and then dashed over to see what kinds of treats are. I got some chocolate chip cookies and they were absolutely delicious - only got a tiny bite as the kids and non-vegan husband got to them before me. Sigh, may have to go back tomorrow. I can't wait to try their other vegan deserts - I'm a big cake fan so cupcakes are next! I remember last year just before or around the pandemic we ate at Trail Rider and the dough was so pillowy and fresh tasting. I think the pizza crust has not been as good as that time and so I hope they can tweak it a little and get it to where it was about a year ago. We really appreciate having also having a restaurant near our home that has vegan options & would love it if they let the world know when they baked their fresh bread for the buns - I am not sure if it is everyday or just every once in a while? Also, what other homemade things are there on the menu? Finally, we had the fried cauliflower the other day and it was way too greasy. I am sure they could fix that easier with possibly smaller bite size p;icees too and maybe a heartier crumb crust. Either way, I think you should give this place a try; hopefully someday soon they will have pastas and maybe even some fresh veggie and vegan pasta choices too. We used to be big fans of Trail Rider Pizza back when they were in their trailer by Molly's - we got the best take out pizza ever. The last few times have been disappointing. But this last time guarantees we won't be going back. The mozzarella sticks are absolutely flavorless and likely from a frozen bag. The pizza is incredibly greasy, thin, soggy and not much flavor. The chicken wings were overdone and taste like they're from a frozen bag too. The atmosphere is super hippie which is fine - whatever. But we went on karaoke night which - if you're drunk is probably really fun. But the place is too small, terrible acoustics and the people singing think they are far better than they are. I get it - karaoke is fun and no one is a pro "don't be a Karen" blah blah. But maybe turn the volume down just a bit - it's been two weeks an my ears are still ringing. The staff is nice, but the whole place feels discombobulated and it took a long time to get our subpar food. I miss the old Trail Rider - they had great pizza that was super tasty. I think this place caters more to the Cedar Crest crowd, perhaps we need to stick to Ribs BBQ. read more

Wow, wow, wow. I cannot recommend this place highly enough! I came in with my husband this weekend, and we had some of the best food and BEST service. If you're a vegan, this place is a must. We ordered vegan cheesy garlic bread and a build-your-own pizza and they were both incredible! At the end of the meal, the owner treated us to bread pudding that was equally amazing.
