My wife and I visited here earlier this afternoon (9/19). It was a ZOO (Saturday)!!!!!!! Store is very clean and well stocked. We purchased a few items for my disabled mom. They no longer stock those DELICIOUS and ADDICTIVE Japanese "Chidori" crackers, which is a REAL BUMMER. What blew me away, was how NICE, FRIENDLY, and WELCOMING the staff are here. A 180° difference compared to that now-defunct Upland location, and that elitist/snooty "Baron's" near us. We'll make this one of our go-to's. read more

The three stars are for all our previous visits. We reside nearby at this particular location, so we shop here quite often for our weekly groceries. The 2 stars knocked off were for the cashier and bagger who were so obviously uniterested in having an engaging conversation with my parents (visiting us for the summer) at the checkout. No eye contact, autopilot responses, and 10% of that well known Trader Joe's hospitality & genuine human interaction. I think what really hit a nerve would be the specific interaction with my 7 year old son who excitedly stated he found Tank the turtle. Without a word the cashier leaned over to grab the basket of lollipops, no verbal interaction, straight faced, zero eye contact with both of my children (daughter, 4 years old) and continued to have a side conversation with his team member while my children grabbed their treats. Not a single word or smile. The bagger (female) had the same expression, zero eye contact (I am looking at her directly in the eyes), with a very uninterested tone "have a nice day..." This check out experience stood out as very different in a not so great way from our many, many visits. Last but not least, the customer before us had a very engaging, positive, and quite the opposite experience than we did. It was extremely obvious. Trader Joe's in Murrieta has such a nice staff. They are always so kind, thoughtful, and helpful. Finally got to Trader Joe's in Murrieta after being back in SoCal for 10 years and we were Wowed beyond belief! Super clean, and as we walked in the first employee we passed welcomed us. That was refreshing. I was looking for the shallots, so I asked another employee and she said "let me walk you to them"! Great customer service! We were surprised at the reasonable prices and tons of organic products they stocked. The produce was fresh and clean, frozen goods looked great, meats were prepackaged, fresh breads, variety of cheeses and nice selection of wines and many more products! This Trader Joe's is one of the newest additions to the area. Across from Sam's Club and near the 15/215 junction, this is a perfect location. I don't usually go on a busy time so it is always a pleasant time. The best time to go is a week day around 3-6. People are in and out so quick and it isn't crowded. Service is fast and the store is always clean. Employees are plenty, helpful, and pleasant to talk to when checking out. I just happened to be there and as I walk down the spices aisle, an employee comes pushing a big cart of the viral mini tote bags in pastel colors. This was the biggest coincidence and the best quiet drop they have done. I was able to finally secure these viral mini tote bags as I am never able to be there early in the mornings when they stock up and drop. I was very ecstatic. Ok this is my favorite traders location I've been to in Southern California. It is huge and packed with so many fan favorite items. The parking lot is easy to navigate with plenty of spots in front. The customer service was great and they even offered stickers a lollipops for the kids which was fun and exciting. The minute you walk in the smell of fresh flowers will over take you. I truly enjoy having this Trader Joe's being so close to my mother-in-law's house. It's in the epicenter of all the other shopping areas, making it an ideal stop for my needs. This does feel and look like any other Trader Joe's. It's clean, the restrooms are clean, and the aisles are roomy. The parking is easy to find if you park to the side, but more difficult in the front as cars are entering and exiting. The workers here are quick and keep conversations short and sweet. Everything is always well stocked. You won't find it difficult to look for an item. We are big fans of their brioche waffles and floral selection. The teriyaki seaweed snacks are also delicious! read more

I really loved the one per household rule implemented at this location as it made sure to give as many people a chance to obtain this popular item. The line moved fast, and the bags were out in 8 minutes. One thing I wanted to suggest was that they should try to double the inventory amount of the launch or better yet, make the mini canvas bags a regular item so that scalpers aren't selling them for $20-40 on FB marketplace. I'm really happy I was able to get them for my friends and family. I hope others were able to get their hands on one too! To the higher ups at Trader Joe's: please bring the mini totes back again as a regular item; I don't want to line up for hours every time there's a seasonal drop! read more

My girl loves Trader Joes and we stopped in. We drove all the way from Sun City and were greatly impressed. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. I'm handicapped and they rushed to get me a chair to shop with. Did our shopping, great selection from the front to the back. Went to check out and there were plenty of options. Henry checked us out and was super friendly and accommodating. Alan helped as well and followed us out to grab the cart to take back in. Alan was really kind, friendly, and a great conversation. I was here to kill time while charging my car. This location seems bigger than the others for some reason. It wasnt busy while I was glancing a short while. No real deals on wine and the chips and bread is still expensive. I cant pull myself to buy some of the snacks here bc they're outrageously expensive but it looks neat with different flavors. Store is clean enough and aisles are organized and easy to navigate and find things. Workers are nice or just tend to what they are doing. read more

Well fiiiiiinally, Trader Joe's has expanded and moved up the 15 freeway into Murrieta! It's about time for a better parking lot situation when shopping at TJ, and now I can gladly say I get that here!! Everyone knows how tight the parking stalls are at the Temecula location, so this is a relief, to say the least. The inside boasts more square footage, and the aisles are wider, which is nice. They have the new item section in the back right corner, but I haven't seen it full yet. Usually, just a couple of items are left on the shelves, but unless I'm on the hunt for something in particular, I'm good with it. The employees here have been helpful, and they get lines moving fast. I like how they open up another check stand when they see people start piling up in a line or two. A bonus for me is that this store is right across the parking lot in front of Powerhouse Gym, so it's cool to he able to shop here after a workout, even if it's just for a protein pick-me-up. Prices can't be beat. I'm so glad to have this location! I'll be a frequent flyer here for sure! read more

I've been going to Trader Joe's since the mid-80's when they started out in Pasadena. This particular store is closer to my place. Got a bunch of items I wanted, even brought a YETI to keep it all Cool on my way home in the 100° heat. Trader Joe's is always a Fun place to shop especially when you want something most stores don't carry or you feel like something that Only Trader Joe's sells. Service at the checkout counter was great and they're always Super Friendly. Bought a nice bottle of Cab I've been wanting to try out based on my Good Friend's suggestion about it. read more

Very happy that this location finally opened! It's very spacious and there are no parking nightmares like the one in Temecula. Still happy we have a choice since we live exactly the same distance to both!! The other bonus is that we shop at Sam's and today we were able to kill some time at both stores while waiting for our battery to be installed. Went the day after they opened. Very spacious compared to the other TJ's. PARKING IS AMAZING compared to Temecula! Felt like something was missing, and then I noticed the walls seemed bare? Lol Anyways, it felt like any ol' Trader Joe's. Was able to pick up some Horchata ice cream which was 10/10! Grabbed some pretty tiny roses, and the best cookies ever, peanut butter Joe Joe's!!! I feel bad complaining but bad customer service. I was in line and the woman in front of me got cash back. The drawer wouldn't open so they called over a manager and they came to the conclusion that they would need to shut down the register. The manager took the lady to another register but told me to get in another line. So I got behind a few people at the check stand next to me and literally 2-4 seconds after I moved a customer went to where I was before and they started scanning her groceries and then moved on to the next one while I was still waiting. The manager walked past me and made eye contact but kept walking. So I was told to get out of line, waited in a longer line next to them but after I moved customers lined up and they took them. As someone working in customer service it's just rude, I would have called my customer back over if the register was fixed. read more

Wonderful food selection, easy parking access, spacious enough inside for easy shopping. The best part was the wonderful staff members.
