We shop at Tractor Supply regularly for all sorts of things, but especially for our dogs -- we get our dog food delivered straight to our home on a repeat subscription (super convenient!), and we also love their HUGE selection of dog bones and treats. It's become our go-to spot. But today, I want to give a special shoutout to Gretchen, one of the cashiers. Hands down, she provides the best customer service in Whatcom County -- no exaggeration. She could strike up a conversation with a brick wall and walk away best friends with it. She always has the kindest, warmest things to say, and makes every trip to the store feel like a bright spot in the day. Attention, management: You have a shining star in your midst! Gretchen, 12/5/25 Store # 1946 Lynden WA We purchased under $300. each time we go into this establishment. We generally get $5 or $10 back on our purchases. We have not on our last two visits to the Lynden store. Gretchen said we had a lot of points. Gretchen said we needed coupons. Then when I asked how do we get the coupons she said it was the wrong time of the month. We purchased 8 bales of gem shavings. 7.99/ each we were charged $10.99 each. They would not load them for us. We are in our 80's. We started loading the heavy shavings bales ourselves. Then an employ came out and helped us. Shelves were empty. The employees went in the back to get our supplies. Horse feed. We will never go to this Tractor Supply again. James read more

I have been shopping at this store since they opened and have always had excellent service. They carry my dog's brand of food, we have bought several pieces of yard equipment, hardware, etc. The prices are very fair, inventory is always stocked and the Customer Service I have received is always top notch. I just with they had a Dog Washing Service and it would be the perfect store for me. read more

My family bought a lawn mower and an attachable sweeper, and after coming damaged, rather than refund the money they offered extra items as a "discount" plus some in store credit that was with every intention made out to be 700 dollars. We were to find out only a little while later that the in store credit was "actually only 150" and that the credit had actually expired even though they had not even once mentioned anything about expiration dates. So now we are stuck with a damaged tractor and its accessory and possibly a gift card to make up for the "expired credit" that wasn't even the original amount it had been made out to be. This is very clearly an extremely underhanded business practice and there is no way we wouldn't have returned everything had we known what a ride they were going to take us for. I recommend to stay far away and take your business/money elsewhere. read more

Super rude and short and snappy when I just asked about an item needs a staff overhaul

This store is getting pathetic it is time to leave our town. It Is becoming consisteby that they only stock for a season once and then they stay sold out until the next year. Examples: grass seed. We sold out and we will not have anymore this year. sprinklers: sold out on July 1st and will not have any more this year common excuses: you can order it at our website guess what, if I wanted to order online I would do it onAmazon, not your website. You need to go, you cannot even stock things like salt for water softners, and if you do have it, it is covered in bird shit because you store it outside under the pigeons. good bye read more

Worst service in town, but have a monopoly with so few other store choices. This is a self service store, as the employees routinely act bothered if asked to help you. My wife groans anytime she needs something of a farm store nature, and has to go here. Have completed surveys and communicated with main office, but nothing ever changes. read more

I went into this store without a mask because I had forgotten one and I was in desperate need for some dog food when an elderly lady checking someone out yelled impolitely across that store that I need to get out if I didn't have a mask. Everyone in the store looked at me shocked! I was not offered a mask or even politely asked to wear one! This lady rudely yelled past the person she was checking out just to tell me this! I'm only human and due to my forgetfulness I was yelled at! I left the store defeated and embarrassed and without dog food. Apparently if you are not wearing a mask it's an excuse for people to be rude to you. This lady does not know what kind of medical history I have or if I am even able to wear one! If you want to be treated like crap for accidentally not wearing a mask go to this store! I will not be going back and I will make sure to tell others about my experience as well because this was not ok! read more
