I think the groomer must be part magician as this dog is huge and never holds still for a minute (labradoodle, 70 lbs). Every time they bring him out after grooming, it takes me a minute to recognize him as he looks so different! We can tell he feels better too! He also enjoys hearing, smelling the other dogs there for boarding, daycare hahah and is not in any hurry to leave . So simple for us parents, we just drop him off and a few hours later, we get a call that he is ready. Excellent customer service, everyone is super attentive and polite. She actually was recomnded by our vet. The vet had nothing but the highest praise for Kim and it is well justified. We are often out of town and Kim is kind enough to board our dogs. I have gone to Kim for years, and while I had to go to Texas for a while it was impossible to find any shop that came close to the quality work Kim does, or the loving care she gives my two dogs. I have gone to Kim for over 20 yrs, and I'm a person not easily impressed...I have had my dogs when traveling or Kim was to busy to fit them in (my fault) and each time my only thought was "I wish I was back home so Kim could straighten out this mess". Now, no longer traveling ..going to Kim's and my having no concerns about how my dog will look (you can't believe some of the disasters I've seen on grooming my westie :( argggg) I get to drop Sophie off, knowing she's in good hands. My pup gets so excited about going to Kim's that the minute I turn on the road to Kim's place, she starts howling in joy ...she adores Kim. Kim has a silent communication with her "clients"...Sophie was just a baby when she did her and she was hyper and difficult for me to even bathe ..not so with Kim. She settles in when she arrives for her "beauty appointment"...and I get a break (just like a mother who drops her child off at school!) and get to go to lunch or shopping without her hitting all the electric windows and door locks as she runs from window to window...once locking me out when I stopped for gas). If you really want not only a great grooming experience for your dog but the confidence that you'll have no worries about their care...then I highly recommend Kim's grooming. My boarding experience at Kim's has been equally excellent...not to mention her pricing is incredibly reasonable. Before I could even see them, I was told that if a cat is under 6 months old, adopting two is required. I wasn't even allowed to open a kennel and gently interact--I had to wait in a separate room for the staff to bring one in. After a 30-minute wait, I was told I needed to fill out a different application--apparently cat and dog adoptions use separate forms. While I was filling it out, I noticed someone receiving a large bag of pet food. She said it was part of their animal food bank, which I thought was wonderful. I asked about it and was told I could sign up. But then everything shifted. Because I inquired about the food bank, I was told I wasn't "financially responsible enough" to adopt. I explained I have food and resources for a pet, and that my last two ESA companions--a dog and a cat--each lived over 21 wonderful years with me. Still, I was denied the chance to even meet the cat I came for. I asked them to discard my application. This experience hurt deeply. I came with love to give and a stable home to offer. I never imagined being judged for asking about a support program offered to others. I will find a cat in need--just not from here.

I said explicitly that we have poor cell reception and that email or landline would be best, but on three different occasions she left cell messages. I emailed and texted three or four times and got no reply. I missed an appointment because I could not reach her to say there was flooding; her phone directed me to the website. Really the problem is that she didn't care to adjust to our communication needs. Beyond that, she was less than professional when I talked to her about this. She said (paraphrased) 'do you know how many emails I get every day'? If she cannot be bothered to figure out how to get in touch with clients, or arrange things so that people can reach her, she needs to reconsider her business setup.
