In fact, he was especially cranky today and had to wear a muzzle. But Dr. Johner handled the situation with incredible professionalism and calm. He gave Axel the space he needed, observed him from a safe distance, and calmly explained everything to us without escalating the tension. It worked! Axel settled down, and we got the answers we needed. Dr. Johner gave us a clear plan of action for some new concerns and took the time to explain everything thoroughly and patiently. Missy at the front desk is simply amazing, friendly, organized, and once she knows you, she'll probably recognize your voice when you call. It's those personal touches that really make this practice stand out. The vet techs are also wonderful, compassionate, knowledgeable, and clearly care about the animals they work with. We feel lucky to have such a skilled and kind veterinary team so close to home. Highly recommend NW Vet to anyone looking for excellent, compassionate care for their pets.

My dog has had previous negative experiences at veterinary offices, which is why I specifically chose a new clinic and had hoped for a more compassionate approach. Unfortunately, before I had the opportunity to explain her history or discuss how she does best with handling, the veterinarian attempted to remove her from her carrier. He then stated that she was trying to bite him, despite the fact that she has never bitten anyone in her two years of life. She is fearful and tends to bark when she is scared. She was taken to the back to be weighed and fitted with a muzzle, where I could hear her crying. They later came back and told me that they had put the muzzle on her, but she couldn't breathe properly with it, so it had to be removed. When she was brought back into the room, the veterinarian restrained her by the back of the neck while attempting to administer a rabies booster that I wasn't aware she was due for. As my tiny dog squealed, cried, and tried to get away, the vaccine was ultimately given in her hind end before she was placed back on the floor. I was visibly upset and shaking while this was happening. At no point did I feel that my concerns were heard or that there was any effort to slow down, discuss alternative handling techniques, or take my dog's fear and history into consideration. I left feeling heartbroken that what should have been a routine visit became another traumatic experience for both of us. I understand that veterinary professionals have difficult jobs and that fearful pets can be challenging to handle. However, compassion, communication, and fear-free handling matter--especially with very small dogs that are clearly frightened. I cannot recommend this clinic based on our experience.

Our dog is literally wagging her tail to go in every time, which speaks to how happy they keep her. They separate dogs by energy and how well they get along. My staffordshire terrier is on the high energy end, so she needs to be paired with larger dogs and/or equivalently crazy dogs :). They do slow introductions to all the dogs and see how they pair well. There are a ton of separated areas for different groups to play. The Facebook photos are awesome to see how much fun they are having during the day. It's the best 100$ or so per month I spend regularly. Keeps my dog tired, socialized, and exercised.

When we arrived we were greeted with a smile and Thunder was very calm. I was assured that he would blend into his size group, I was asked for any allergies and alot of caring questions. My dog has gastro problems and very sensitive to chicken so had to ensure it was communicated. Thunder was handed over and he stayed so calm, good sign and gave me assurance he would be fine. Picked him up after a few days and he was really good and happy, didnt show signs of any stress even after arriving home. Whew! Second stay 3 weeks later and same result. Awesome experience, Thunder was happy and no stress. Thank you to Stephanie and Linda for your care. You had many reservations, but still allowed Thunder to come. I highly recommend Delta Kennels, even if it may be out of the way, to know your dog will be well taken care of, it's worth it. Great facilities and people that genuinely care.

They greeted not only me but both my dogs by name (I know for you Internet trolls that they have a computer that tells them that, but I like when a business is professional enough to greet people/pets by name). I kenneled both Romeo (large dog) and Lizzie (medium) at northwest kennels, they both seemed clean and happy after a week under the care of NW kennels. When I picked them up they both were bright eyed and entergized but when I got home they both hit the ground and slept soundly for hours. Stars: I rated them four because a lot of local kennels did seem to include day care free with boarding, northwest didn't. But of all the kennels I called thier staff seemed the nicest/ professional that I talked too. I would recommend nw kennels

She's so soft and smells amazing, and Kati did a beautiful job trimming and shaping her hair so that she kept her natural look, just more manageable and tidy. My friend said, "She's still Clover, just 40% less Einstein haha. Very cute!" Everyone we spoke to was so friendly and the whole place was beautiful and clean. We'll definitely be back!

Our pup is often anxious when going to a new place, so we didn't want to torture him. The owner and staff at Freddie's made him feel right at home, and in no time, it was his favourite place to be! He's excited for his daycare days where he gets to play with his friends, both four-legged and two-legged, that we now schedule him regularly and plan to keep him going beyond the trip. I picked up my dog after a week and she seemed depressed. She wasn't her normal bouncy self in the car ride home. When we got home she was shivering and went straight to her bed and never moved. This was not normal. During the course of the day we realized that her vocal cords were strained. She could barely make a sound. I do not feel that they paid any attention to her at all and if they did it was negative. I will never board my dog here again.
