I found my new pet store in south Bellingham, Petstop! We needed some wet cat food to help my friends cat get it's meds down, so we stopped in to see what they had and I was so happy we did. The help is very friendly, and the prices are better than my local Petco in Mount Vernon. We found everything we needed and plan to return to check the prices on dry cat food as well. I love supporting a local business and I am really looking forward to shopping at Petstop again real soon. read more

Another truly great pet store that typically has above average knowledgeable employees and line of products available. Prices also seem to be fair. We happened to be in this area and they happen to be open 7 days a week (at 9am!). They do carry Dave's brand pet food (for sensitive stomachs). It was not stocked with the regular pet food but the clerks showed me where. They also didn't have a lot of it but they did have 5-6 flavor options and does not expire til 2026. I went in the other day to look for canned kitten food. While I was looking, there were about 3 employees who I believe didn't know i was there. Two of them started getting into a verbal argument about work details which lasted about 5 minutes until another costumer walked into the store. The whole experience was very uncomfortable and I felt it was unprofessional for employees to be speaking to each other in that manner. Also the canned cat food section is super confusing and it was so hard to find what I was looking for that I gave up. They also have barely any options to bulk buy the canned food which was very disappointing. read more

What a great little shop! They are a local place with one shop in Sehome village and one in Sudden Valley. The Sehome village location which I visited was a smaller shop packed to the brim with everything your dog, cat or even hamster would want! They have some of the usual brands of dog food and a lot of good all natural or organic brands as well, but most were around the $50-70 range for a large bag which I think is reasonable. They also have refrigerated foods if you want to spoil your pooch some! Pet Stop also has a great selection of toys including Chuck it and Kongs which my dog loves, and refill treat bins for a bulk treat selection. Checking out the employees were very friendly and even offered to help carry the food out to my car which I didn't need but thought was a nice touch. They are dog friendly but I wouldn't bring any dog or rambunctious pups as it is smaller and you'll probably end up cleaning up aisles after a wagging tail! read more

Bought a dog educational toy here two years ago and it was broken outta the box. Took it back in probably less then an hour after buying it, and was told they don't do refunds. I would have to contact the manufacturer to seek a reimbursement. Haven't shopped here since. Before that I loved the store. It was great until it wasn't. I bought a new bed over at petco last year and was looking for something chew proof. Told the assistant that my new hound just destroyed the bed I bought last week. He asked if I bought it from them and if so I could get it refunded or replaced. I already threw it away. But they would replace a destroyed bed but pet stop refused to replace a toy that was broken right out of the box. read more

Love this place! I have bought treats and toys for my puppies here so many times! I came in December to get puppy stocking stuffers and couldn't stop going since. The people working inside are always so helpful and friendly and the store is always clean. They offer a ton of different stuff but especially accommodating treats and food for grain free and organic made treats! Highly recommend coming here! read more

While it's not huge and doesn't have the cheapest price the prices are for the most part really reasonable, probably cheaper then Haggens for most food and they have a surprising amount of variety in both food and treats. Service is fantastic, they've always had at least 2 people up front to great me and see if I need help finding anything. This is a small pet shop with all the necessities for household animals. Prices aren't the greatest but they carry the special dog food brand my poodle eats which Clark's Feed & Seed discontinued selling. The people that work there are friendly. The store is small and can be a little difficult to navigate but the workers will help you find whatever it is you're looking for, as long as you ask! Just a hint - check the clearance bin for great prices on random things you may need for your pet. I always seem to find a good deal in the bin whenever I am there! read more

I've lived here for nearly three years and I've been looking for a pet store with the same feel as the one I shopped at for many, many years. I have now found it. They have the nicest young women working there and they were beyond helpful. I was just about to change dog food brands for like the third time in just over a year when the young lady suggested it was how I stored the food. I didn't believe her at first and said as much. But then she suggested I just try a new bag of (Canidae) and if it didn't work to keep it in the original bag I could bring it back and they'd refund my money, all of it. That was a month ago and no more throwing up. I just have one question were was my vet with this simple solution? Thank you dear pet store lady for taking care of my little Lolita.
