For over five years our little guy has been running happily around with the big dogs, leash-free in the wilderness, all under the careful monitoring of a caring, professional dog adventure leader. (He might just love his Trail Dog humans more than he does me, and believe me, I get it!) Trail Dogs is awesome. I have recommended to friends who have also had great experiences. When our dog had a partial tear in his CCL (hind leg, stifle (knee) ligament), the Trail Dogs hike leader he was out with saw that he was favoring that leg, and then _carried_him_back_to_the_vehicle. These people know dogs. They care about dogs. They provide a social canine experience, along with the physical activity and freedom to BE a dog with other dogs, while moving through nature as a pack. Also: Trail Dogs has been flexible when we have needed to make schedule changes. Great communications by text before pick-up and return. There was a change of ownership about a year ago, and the already excellent services got even better (and more varied!). Kevin (owner) and his daughter Zoey, lead a crew of loving, caring and very well-trained walkers. They have group and individual hikes for a variety of different dog's needs. We have been using trail dogs for our now almost 13 year-old border/golden mix for close t 10 years and they have been wonderful. Padden looks forward to every hike even the Senior hikes he goes on now. They've always taken great care of him and we 're never concerned with how they treat him as they truly seem to adore him. I love trail dogs, Brent and his team are fantastic! There's no better feeling than coming home after a long day knowing my pup has been out of the house for hours running trails with his friends. This service takes your dog hiking off leash and it's the best out there. I used to pay dog walkers $20/walk for a walk around the neighborhood, I never knew how long of a walk he got or if he was getting proper exercise for a large energetic dog. I cannot be happier that we made the leap to Trail Dogs and love seeing him appear on Trail Dogs instagram! This past year I'd been feeling full of guilt after a career change, working 7 days/wk, baby on the way, partner getting his MBA and also works full time, the guilt is no longer there knowing that people who love seeing dogs run around off leash and playing as much as I do are taking him out on the trails. Brent and his team are an amazing bunch of dog hikers. Very professional and always on time to pickup my mutt. Brent and his team pickup my dog at 9 and he does not get home until 1. This is an amazing service for dogs. Brent picks up my dog at 9:30am and drops him back at 1:30pm. They go on an off leash trail hike with other dogs, so my dog comes home well socialized and tired. I felt 100% comfortable with Brent and his staff keeping my dog safe. It is only $22 for a daily hike! We tried Tails a Waggin doggie day care which was a terrible, indoor experience for our dog.
