I went in for a some small hardware, and needed a piece of chain cut. A fellow was trying very hard to help, but seemed new and didnt know how to use chain cutter. I asked another employee, also new ( it was her 2nd day)that couldnt help.... and managed to get the chain cut myself the rest of the way with a multitool on my keychain. I went up front to pay for it, and 1 cashier told me the other line was faster( she was doing a credit card application) . I went to self check out and discovered i cant buy the chain there. I stood in line for another 5 minutes, and the cashier and another employee couldnt figure out how to charge me for 2 feet of chain, I took a picture of their part number and showed it to them. The dude and I recently came here on 5/08/21 but been coming here for over a year as we like to get Bird food here for our Duck-Bae babies and plants! I love coming to the Tractor Supply store as they have a lot of unique finds here. They pretty much have everything you need here from feed for your furry critters to clothes which surprisingly they have good sales on their clothes. The dude and I fall in love with their various plant options which range from fruits, vegetables and herbs. This year we got one cucumber plant, Fresno Chile, cherry tomato, hybrid cherry tomatoes, beef steak tomatoes, and bell pepper plant. Each plant has yield crop except the cucumber plant as I self pollinate or wrong :( but all plants are thriving which is awesome! Haven't had to buy tomatoes for a few months or bell peppers. I cannot thank tractor supply for developing my passion of organic gardening. My garden has brought life, beautiful bugs, bees and smiles among neighbors too! Cannot wait to come back seasoning and continue my love of gardening and eating the food I grew! read more

They are one of the only stores that carries Diamond Naturals dog food and one of the only stores that is open when i need to go. But they for some reason can only stock every other brand of dog food and not Diamond. Constantly out of stock or they just have a whole rack of ONE dog food from them and nothing else. I cant be the only person dealing with this as they are out of stock almost everytime i go. Only makes sense to stock more of whats popular right? Not just the cheap stuff you have on sale... they claim this is a recent issue but this has been an issue for some time. read more

I don't suggest anyone going over there? If she's the manager, she shouldn't even have that job. I had a terrible experience with a very rude customer service person named Hannah. I was returning a heavy rabbit hutch. In the past, I have taken online order returns to the customer service desk. Several people were at the desk, but no one was anxious to help me. The girl Hannah finally acknowledged me and acted like I was bothering her. I told her my situation and she said I would have to take the return to the front. I am a senior person and was out of breath carrying the hutch. I asked her if someone could carry it for me. She started to, then handed it to a nice young lady who helped me. Hannah has no business dealing with customers. Store inventory sheets and bossing coworkers is more important than customers to her. "rosalinda" extremely rude & was blatantly stereotyping out loud, i had a mask on & was looking at a pro husqvarna chainsaw & was abruptly asked if i needed help by another gentleman in a passive aggressive/confronting manner, i replied "no" and proceeded to look at the saw and removed my mask (cause i can 100% understand how that can make employees feel uncomfortable) so i take that into consideration and remove my mask & continue shopping around & relocate back with my co workers who were looking at work jackets as it was raining today, reason i point out "rosalinda" was cause she specifically was shadowing my co workers and i around the store and consistently peeking in isles we were shopping in (making sure we saw her watching us). It definitely does become intentional stereotyping when i remove my mask to help ensure employees i wasn't there to hide my identity & steal.. not one employee followed us around with the same demeanor as "Rosalinda", not even the first gentleman who approached me in a passive aggressive / confrontational manner followed us around the store and constantly saying "i can help you here" after seeing us leave every isle we visited the way "Rosalinda" did. ironic enough, phenotype wise, we looked the same, only difference was i had some tattoos. so yes, it was 100% stereotyping. read more

How do you send someone to deliver and they can't complete their job and leave the package in the middle of my driveway. I told your driver I have a puppy and a 2 year old inside with me so please leave the package by my porch and it's left in my driveway with a text saying it wouldn't fit on my porch. i really want to give this place more stars because employees here are super friendly..however, having said that, i was disappointed in the assistance of ONE that helped me. first, the pros: 1. selection of specialty dog food is excellent. our dog has a sensitive stomach so seeing their selection of dog food for canines with gastro issues was great. they also have medication for canine stomach issues. 2. dog bed selection & quantity is better than petsmart & petco combined. 3. unique gifts for little ones is plentiful here: animal pet spa, animal barn, horse related quality toys, quality dumpster truck type toys, etc. now, the cons: 1. lights were too dim. it's way too dark in this store. 2. a lot of empty shelves in the middle section of the store. made it feel like a ghost town in certain sections. it's barely december & the christmas items were 25% off but you'd think it was ransacked by day after christmas shoppers competing for the same items at 75% off. they had christmas decor sprawled through front & mid section of store but lots of empty spaces. there was a tree ornament i really liked but ONE ear was GONE. so when the employee walked by i asked if there are any others somewhere else. he said he could give me the cow with the missing ear at a discount (it's $4.99). no thanks. he pulled out some device & checked. he said, "it says there are 4 in stock." (okay, cool!!) - then he said, "but honestly, all 4 have probably already been STOLEN." (what???). didn't even bother checking back stock. just, 'all 4 have been stolen.' really?! FOUR. okkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk. i wanted to tell him, "you're full of sht & too lazy to check is all." but what good would that do? nothing. it would just get me more irritated, would've spoiled my christmas spirit & i probably wouldn't have bought the items i came in there to get in the first place: specialty dog food for my dog with gastro issues. read more

Came here to purchase a dog kennel for Black Friday ( but on Wednesday) bc the sale started early. The place was pretty quiet. We were helped by Drew who was very friendly and helpful. The process was seamless. After we paid for the kennel Drew loaded it up and we were good to go. The store was clean, the staff seem nice and hard working. I shop in the Fresno, CA store at Fowler and Herndon avenues. I encountered rude and arrogant staff and management. I came here to buy ducks as pets, and egg producers, and also bought chickens, I spent over $100 the first day, and returned twice weekly to but more supplies. Staff was helpful ond courteous on most occasions. , until I ran into this heavy set woman with dark curly hair. I wanted to purchase 2 more ducklings, as one had already died and I was saddened, since I'd already named him "Buddy" and often took him with me where I was driving, he was adorable. . The last time no one was attending the bird pen, when I encountered this particular employee, who told me to wait, she said she'd be "right back" but she did not return. I went to the front and asked again, and she finally showed up and proceeded to lecture me in an aggressive and rude tone of voice, telling me I was in danger of losing my right to purchase poultry at their store because of something she had "heard about me" She said I'd been careless and caused the death of my duck Buddy and if it happened again she would refuse me. Her tone was ugly, she reminded me of a "yuppie Karen" She then peppered me with question, most of them condescending. "Do you have room for birds?" I replied I had a huge backyrd. "Did you buy a heat lamp?" I replied that I purchased one he first day. "What are you feeding them" I replied "duck & chick starter feed." and told her I did not come to the store to be lectured." I felt like I was under interrogation by the police department. I am a 67 year old Army veteran, and retired high school civics teacher, and I deplore rude younger people like her. Later I called the manager, and told her I was a new customer, liked the store, and had spent over $400 dollars in the last 30 days. She also was rude and argumentative, not listening but also trying to lecture me. I get the feeling this is a smaller Tractor Supply Co, but it definitely has a lot to offer. The store was very clean, the inventory was all very organized. The staff was also very nice. My only complaint was they didn't have any non-medicated chick start, but I will definitely buy my layer feed here from now on. The prices were great for other supplies like the feed bins and scoops. Hardware wise, they were also cheaper than Lowes. I'm definitely going to be back here for my feed and hardware supplies! read more

This retailer has the largest selection of goods that good-ol' Country Folk would enjoy. I purchase a lot of my supplies and feed for my dog and chickens here at this Tractor Supply location. I Could not believe you guys sent me to collections even though my whole balance was paid off.!!!?Citibank does not talk to tractor supply and vice a versa SO when customers get the tractor supply credit card they will not be taken care of by either party.... you'll get caught in the middle like I did... my credit score went from 800 to 600 because they did not call me and tell me that I was one day late and that even though I paid off my credit card I had to give them another $95... Outrageous. By the way your corporate number online is disconnected!! that shows the professionalism you guys have and lack of attention to detail... Extreamly disappointed in the customer service I received today. Before driving 35 minutes to the store, I called to make sure they carried and/or had a certain item in stock. The employee who answered the phone was unfamiliar with the item I was inquiring about, so I asked to speak to a manager or someone familiar with that department. The same individual came back on the line without an answer to my original question. It's unfortunate someone familiar with that department was too busy to speak with me. Tractor Supply has always been awesome, then I joined a dog rescue group and they allow us there for adoption events. I'm not there at every event but the times I have been their staff has gone above and beyond, always helping with whatever provisions we may need. Besides that the prices are fair and I get my dry dog food there that I don't see for sale at Petsmart. Great place to shop! read more

Good selection of products but customer service is lacking. I spend at least $200/ month here on horse feed and I always have to load it myself. Several times I've been at my car struggling to lift the feed sacks into my trunk as employees walk right past me and never offer to help. Bought a Fimco 15-Gallon Economy Spot Sprayer on June 3rd. Used it for the first time around June 25th, as it was a birthday present. Used it for the last time on August 24th, because it stopped spraying. Tore the sprayer down to see if there was anything obstructing the sprayer - nothing. I returned it to the store today for a refund, and I was told it was past the 30 day return policy. However, on their website it does state if you have your receipt after 30 days it's up to a manager's approval whether or not you receive store credit or the form of payment used for the transaction. I happened to pay cash for the sprayer, but the manager would not give his approval for cash to be returned to me, so I received store credit. Do they really think this is going to make me refer people to the store? I have to agree with some of the comments about their customer service, but don't ever return anything, because you will find they really have poor service. read more

One of those stores that fills a niche. I could wander for hours and always end up buying more than I went to but. For the rural property owner, it's a blessing and I like their selection of vet supplies and medications. Usually they have the hardware items I need although they aren't large enough to duplicate the big box home improvement places. Nice selection of work clothes and boots at reasonable prices. They even stick decor items of a country flavor. Tools are generally low to moderate quality but that fits the budget of many of us with rural lifestyles. The one thing that keeps me from giving them five stars is that there are very few floor employees for help. Perhaps considering that a lot of their customers are ver self-sufficient and know what they are looking for. read more
