My dog park friends and I had a late white elephant gift exchange and I was able to snag a $50 Kelley's Pet Supplies gift card. I attempted to go to the new one near my house, but they didn't open yet so after a week, I was finally able to make it to this one. Ambiance- It is a smaller store so I could have been in and out, but they had such a great selection of items from treats, eyewash and dog aspirin. Their toy selection is not as nice as Pet Supplies Plus, but it's not bad. Service- Amazing. I actually was looking for something for my Chihuahua because he recently started getting anxiety on car rides. The girl at the register was so helpful. She showed me two items that were over $22 and the happy travelers treats which were only $14. I got another bag of treats for my boys. In addition I've been wanting a squishmallow bed for my boys and decided to get one here since they had them. My husband always says my Chihuahua has the black soulless eyes of a shark so I got the shark bed for him. However, my terrier claimed it on the ride home so it's his now. We are pretty set on treats and toys. I will have to check out the new one near my house and hopefully it's as awesome as this one in Clovis. read more

I absolutely love Kelly's. The staff here is always so nice and knowledgeable they actually care about animals. This isn't just a job for them you can tell the staff has some type of education that has to do with animals. Anytime I have any questions I call ahead and they give me great advice and recommendations. They have a better selection of products here and the quality is amazing. Any time I buy products from target, Walmart, pets co. Etc it doesn't work well and I have to make a second trip. Any time I buy from Kelly's the products work amazing! I highly recommend you come check this place out for your pets. I will continue to shop here. On separate occasions I have called for my pets and each time I was recommended specific products for the issues they were having. I probably avoided getting a huge bill at the pet hospital about 4 times just from there products. read more

I like to support local businesses and this store is family owned and operated. It's right next door to the branch I'm currently assigned to at work, so it's very convenient. They're on the SW corner of Shaw and Minnewawa, if you're not familiar with then. The last time I was in they had a good selection of the puppy training treats my doggie thinks are her special biscuits. I stopped in the other day to see if they still carried them. Score! They still carry Blue Buffalo! The employees asked me if I needed help as soon as I walked in the door. The treats were right there on an end cap, though, so I made my selection and walked right up to the counter to check out. The girl who waited on me was very friendly. Check them out when you need food, etc. for your furry friends...it looked like they have a pretty good selection. read more

Prices on dog food are on par with Chewy and they offer an every-10th bag free promotion with each of the 3 brands I have purchased. The staff is always friendly, helpful, knows their products very well, and has made excellent recommendations on many occasions. This place is a great pet supply shop with friendly and helpful staff. They answer my questions without making me feel stupid and provide suggestions without pressure to buy. I also love that it's a locally owned store. Support our local small business :) I originally came in a while back trying to figure out the best food for my puppy. I was told that with food products if my dog didn't like it, I could bring back the food and exchange for something else (as long as it wasn't almost empty lol). If there was an option for 2 and a half stars, that's probably what I would go with here but I don't think that a 3 is deserved either. I called Kelley's a few weeks ago looking for a particular kind of dog food. I spoke to a lady who said that her name was Diane. Diane was very friendly and helpful and displayed a lot of compassion and understanding. So I decided to go in the following afternoon. When I entered the store, there were two young ladies standing at the register area near the front and I asked "Would one of you ladies happen to be Diane?" The chubby one rolled her eyes and gave me a quick, disgusted "No" and the other giggled and agreed with her co-worker. I called her out on the eye roll and she quickly said "Oh...no...there was a customer in here just a little while ago that...nevermind" Regardless of her true intention, I thought that it was rudely unprofessional and I was disappointed that the Diane that I spoke to on the phone was not working there at that time. I asked the chubby girl, who seemed to be the one in charge, about a few supplements that a friend of mine gives to her dog who has a similar issue and she replied that they don't carry them but she would check to see if they could be ordered and asked for my name and number so she could contact me and let me know either way. I never heard from them. My guess is that if you go into this store on the right day, when Diane or someone else who knows how to be professional and who is capable of following through with their promises, is working then this may be a very nice little shop but, unfortunately, I think that I picked the wrong day and I don't really want to gamble on who might randomly be working there at any given time so I don't think that we'll be doing any future business with Kelley's Pets. read more

We will only shop at Kelly's Pets for our dog food. We buy the Earth Born Holistic food that has a program of buy 12 get the 13th free which is awesome! Every couple months we get surprised by our free bag and end up walking out of the store with two bags for the price of one! It is a family ran company and always the same friendly girls in there who now know my husband and us by name. We also had to re-home one of our pets and referred her new owner to Kelly Pets. Whenever he comes in he updates the girls on the pup and they remember to pass it on to us next time we are in. I absolutely love this store and the girls running it. I highly recommend supporting this local store for quality dog food rather than a corporation. Great prices and great customer service!!! They have a selection of dog toys it is just not huge so I usually will go to petsmart for those just to get the cheap ones since my dogs usually blow through them. However, last February my husband bought our dog a Barney Plush toy from Kelley's and to this day, literally almost a year later, it is still my 120lb Labs favorite toy and he hasn't been able to rip through it once!!! This is the only toy of ours that has lasted this long without loosing limbs haha. So to say everything in this store is high quality and after realizing how long their toys last we spend the extra buck and get from here now! Worst customer service, when I walk in the girls are usually chatting or playing on there phones as they are charging them on the Counter

Our pet bunny passed a while back and we were on the lookout for another, came to this place and saw that they had 2. The employees were so persistent on buying both and "keeping them together" and even offered a buy one get one half off deal. Saying that they were both the same gender and they had been checked out by the "vet" we couldn't pass up the offer. About 3 months roll by and out pops 5 new born bunnies. And then another 5 because she had already conceived in the time of her pregnancy. So the staff either deliberately lied to us or they have no idea what they are Doing. We called and they seemed to have no idea what we were talking about and passed us off as if it were all our problem now. Even called the one on Fresno but they couldn't do a damn thing either. So if you want to get screwed over, head to Kelley's Pets. read more
