    All the guys there are super helpful when it comes to my Leopard Gecko. They do tend to run out of food quickly but it's not their fault.

    I always go here to get dog food, I always get asked for my phone number for rewards. Which is really helpful bc I sometimes forget .

    We have 1 high yellow leopard gecko left at our Clovis location for $49.99. They are located at 110 W Shaw #101 Clovis, Ca 93612. It is next to ROSS on Shaw in Clovis. They are open until 7pm.

    Do you take stray cats that are very approachable ? We're trying to find a home for these two cats that are brother and sister and it seems like everyone is blowing us off rather than helping

    Do you pick up and deliver How long have you been in business?

    We offer in store pick up and home delivery of pet food and supplies. We have been in business since 1977. The Clovis location has been open since 2011.

    Are you open?

    We are open Monday thru Saturday from 9 am until 7 pm and on Sundays from 9 am until 6 pm. You can also order on our website https://www.kelleyspets.com/products/shop/ where we offer home delivery and in store pick up.

    Do you guys have tamed cockatiels?

    We are currently out of cockatiels. We typically sell young ones that can be tamed easily. We hope to get more this weekend.

I also remember the parrots at the front of this store. The service has gone down hill. The fish department is just... yikes. I've been in several times this month as I'm setting up and cycling a new tank. I purchased the tank here and wish I hadn't trusted them so much. I got the tank to start a neocaradina colony. This tank is not suitable for neos and was missing parts such as intake guard and beta flow nozzle. It's loud as hell indicating something isn't right. They said 30 day return policy but failed to mention the tank had to be unused in its original packaging. Sooooo my shrimp tank is missing key parts and is loud as hell but these tanks are typically quiet. Annnnnnd it's not suitable for shrimp. Also no one asked if I needed help I had to hunt someone down which seemingly annoyed them. The cashiers have always been friendly and helpful. Fish department is just... not what it used to be. When I asked where the neos were the guy just pointed down the row of fish and said, they're down there. Okay... lots of possibilities but okay. Good luck getting help with the aquatic plants. I was also severely disappointed to see Whitie's beta care. They have overly small tanks with betas which just keeps reinforcing improper beta care. On top of that the bettas that aren't in a tiny display tank are in even smaller cups than Petsmart! They can't even swim in a circle they are literally in small drinking cups. Most of them show signs of distress like fin clamping and their water was gross. This isn't okay. It's not terribly difficult to start a beta rack. They have such good care for their other animals. This was disappointing to see especially because they have other aggressive fish in proper sized tanks. Overall disappointing to see this and totally irritated to buy a 200.00 tank to learn it has missing parts and a return policy that was not at all clear. I hope they get their poops in a pile because this experience left a bad taste in my mouth in what has otherwise been a classic store my whole life!

After running errands all morning, I stopped by the store around noon assuming my order would be ready. The cashier was unable to locate my order. She asked whether I had checked my email. I explained I had been away from home all morning. She then asked whether I was sure I selected the Friant Road store. I assured her that I had. Frustrated, I returned home and checked my email. I found Petco had sent me an email notification about 10:30am, stating that my order was ready for pickup. I called the store and spoke with the manager. After repeating the order number three times, he finally located where it was placed. Apparently it was under my husband's name. When I questioned him why under my husband's name and not under mine, the ACCOUNT HOLDER, he specified orders ALWAYS goes under the name of the person that pays. That explanation made no sense. I have had my Petco account for many years and have always been under my maiden name. My husband has always without fail, picked up all our previous orders. Instead of trying to understand why they could not locate my order the first time, the manager blamed me for the confusion. He became combative; which only made an already frustrating experience worse. I asked the manager when did Petco change their policy from using the account holder's name to using the payer's name? He insisted it has always been that way, REALLY!!!! Has anyone ever had this experience? Anywhere? Prior to returning to Petco for the second time that day, I asked my husband whether he has had any issues with picking up our orders. He stated no, and they always found it with my phone number. No one asked for my phone number to check for my order. When we arrived later that afternoon about 4:00pm, there were at least 5 people in line to pay. I asked him to stand in line while I rushed to get the balls for our pets. When I returned a couple of minutes later, there was still no cashier. I asked someone in line where's the cashier. No one knew. I went looking for somone to help. Found a man talking to whom I thought was customer. No acknowledgement of my presence. Waited. To my surprise he was speaking with an employee and NOT a customer. I told him there were at least six people waiting in line and no cashier. He then pointed to an employee walking, but towards the adoption center, not to the cashier station. The employee he was speaking with told him she already clocked out, and couldn't help. As he walked by and saw the line, he gave me one of those looks...If looks could kill I would be dead". What I did next was give him a big cheshire grin. I went to stand in line with my husband. Have you ever looked at the photos of employees? His photo was there as the Manager. When it was our turn at the register, his attitude changed. He told my husband, not me, the next time put my name, the ACCOUNT HOLDER, would be picking up the order, and not his name, the payee. The order mix-up itself was not the reason for this review. Mistakes happen, and they usually can be resolved with good customer service. What disappointed me was the manager's attitude Instead of listening and helping to resolve the issues, he blamed me and treated me discourteously. He behavior turned what could have been a simple misunderstanding into a very unpleasant experience. We are not returning to that store. Linda M.

    I went to the Fort Washington farmers market today and Bentleys was there. Their dog treats were…read moreso cute. I ordered two of them. I got the two small little cupcakes with the frosting on top. They had such cute little clothes for sale, the only reason I didn't buy clothes was because my dog is barely 2 pounds soaking wet and they didn't have anything small enough for her. If they would have her size, I would've totally bought one of those cute little dresses and definitely one of those little Hawaiian shirts. As soon as I get home, my dogs are TSA. They smell everything. As soon as I walked in the door, they smelled the cupcakes. I wasn't able to get a photo of them close up because as soon as I took the cupcakes out, they ran outside with their cupcakes to go eat them. They inhaled them. so I take it that they really like them. I will definitely buy their treats again for my babies.

I had…read morewalked into the shop and bought 2 mini cakes that were pulled out of freezer that were super hard when they were bagged didn't think anything of it and honestly it's my fault for not asking how long they were in there. Next day it was my dogs birthday and as we sang and gave the cake and cut it in half it was still super hard but still managed to open it up . After we opened it up we discovered that there was mold in both of the treats. It made me super sad to not give my dog her treat and honestly made me sad for the people who feed their dogs thinking it's fresh and not know they are feeding their dogs mold. I wont be coming here and I called owner and she offered to replace treats but it was not the same due to it not being my dogs birthday plus the far drive.
