I have been coming here for years for all my pets necessities. From shots to food to accessories, this is my go to place for my pets. They used to be located by the rail road tracks in what looked like a big red barn. The new location seems more spacious and a lot better IMO since it's not as cold and more parking. The service is always great cus the employees are always knowledgeable. They even have a rewards program with some dog food. I think it's buy 10 bags or buy 15 bags get the next free? Something like that. It has to be the same bag same weight tho. Still good if ur grabbing the same shit. The last time we went we changed our dogs dog food cus he was having bad allergies. There was a lady there that worked with the brand Red Barn (how funny I brought up red barn earlier lol) and she helped us out a lot. We ended up choosing that brand n got grain free and she gave us a $10 off coupon I forgot how much it was but that was deals... she also gave us a free canned food version and a coupon for the dry food topper for free. So we got all that for the discounted dog food price cus of the coupons. Fuckkn awesome man!!! read more

I really liked Kellie's pets when I got a $50 gift card and went to the Clovis one. I was excited that there was going to be one near me because I live in Tower. However, I did not feel safe after my first trip to the first and McKinley one. My husband was in there while I went to DD's. He waited for me outside and I went back in to buy treats. I was waiting in line for awhile, there was a mom and daughter with a black poodle named Dolly, but noticed the stand that said line starts here on the other side. I saw a dad and daughter come after us standing there, but didn't mind standing behind them, but when we went, they said they weren't in line. Then, as we were getting called up to check out, they looked at me and my husband and another guy that just got there and asked who was there first. It felt chaotic. Then, when I got rang up by the Asian guy, the total was $18 for two treats and I thought that was expensive since both were half off and the cashier double checked and price did go down to $11. When I went in my car, I realized my phone was missing. I went back in the store and I kept asking over and over again if I left my phone or if they saw it. I'm not lying when I tell you the two guys cashiering did not acknowledge me at all. They didn't look up to say we will be right with you. They honestly didn't even look up. After about 5 minutes of asking if I left my phone, a 3rd guy finally comes out and asks when I was there. I told him I was just there minutes ago and asked if anyone saw a phone and he looked at the cashiers who barely acknowledged him and told me no, to keep calling it. I asked if he could quickly check the cameras. He said he is unable to do so. Didn't really give me a reason why. I have security cameras at my work and playback is fairly easy, especially with things that just happened within minutes. I bet if I would have stolen something, maybe they would check the cameras real fast. Apparently, my husband got through to the people that picked up my phone at the register and they drove back to return it. Me leaving my phone was my own fault, (not sure why the customers didn't tell the cashiers and left it with them and took it instead) but the awful, neglectful, careless, uncaring, remiss, indifferent, unmindful, apathetic, don't give a damn type of service that i got from this place will not make me think twice about driving across town to the Clovis Kelley's pets where the cashiers were extremely nice. I am not opposed to coming to this area of town because I do live in Tower, but I am glad that the people who picked up my phone returned it, but I wouldn't be surprised if they pickpocketd me either and if the people in the store don't seem to care, I do not feel safe going there in the event something bigger happens. read more

My husband and I have gone to this new location near tower about 4-5 times already, and every time we've gone there's been a problem with the "card reader". So this most recent time, that we went into Kelley's. They double charged us again!! And just for context they've done this multiple times to us, and every time we ask them to fix it. They say that they apparently cannot do anything about it, and that it's our "banking issue".We will not be taking our business here again. We'd rather drive across town to get better services. It's sad because it was in a convenient location for us, but it's not worth dealing with the funky attitude and smug behavior from there employees. If I'm giving you my hard earned money, I expect there to be some sort of customer service. It's unacceptable that this has happened multiple times, and now I got double charged and only got 1 bag of dog food, and now I have to go out of my way, and take the time out of my day to fix an issue that was caused on there behalf. First off, the Building is odd and in a bad area. It's some type of barn that's 1/5 store and the rest is just storage or something. It's an unpleasant view and creepy. I went to buy some fish and I specifically asked for 2 Males (Each gender has different aggression levels). They gave me two females which I took home but still had no idea they were females since the guy said they were males. I called them a few days later and they said they couldn't take the fish back. It was their fault for giving me the wrong gender. They said they could only take them in two days after purchase if they died. The thing is that it wasn't my fault, it was the Staff's for giving me the wrong gender and they should take care of that. The Staff overall is pretty nice tho. They don't have a lot of options when it comes to pets but they have some ice cream thing to refresh yourself. read more

So, I wanted to like this store. I've been more mindful recently about how I spend my money, trying to keep some of it local when I can. I was trying to find a local pet store, especially one that carried Open Farm since my picky princess is most definitely spoiled and that's what she eats when I don't have time to cook for her. I looked at the website for Open Farm and found that this store is listed as a carrier. They may have been at one point, but they don't carry in-stock any more. I placed an order for store pickup, called later since we were out already and asked if the order was close to being ready, or should we just head home? I was informed that "a couple" of the Open Farm items were not in stock but they had everything else and were assembling the order at that time so I could head over. I hadn't ever shopped here before, so I asked about the pickup process. Whomever I spoke to informed me all I needed to do was to park and call and they would bring out my order. I arrived about half an hour later, parked and called. The first person had no idea what I was talking about and put me on hold. Someone else picked up and explained that NONE of the Open Farm items were in stock (this is *not* listed on their website) because they are special order only. I'm annoyed because I drove all the way ~50min round trip, to get the OF specifically, but fine I need the cat food anyway. Ok, they have it ready and will be right out. Ten minutes later and I had to call again and the guy AGAIN had no idea what I was talking about and wanted to put me on hold. Again. Cons: Inaccurate online inventory Unenthusiastic customer service Store is located in a run-down area and appears run-down itself, though we did not go inside. Pros: Employees appeared to be wearing masks, there is a sign on the door "requiring" them but it did not appear that it was strictly enforced so...‍ Disappointed, ended up going to the petco because I needed food for my fur babies. read more

All the guys there are super helpful when it comes to my Leopard Gecko. They do tend to run out of food quickly but it's not their fault.

Very helpful in selecting the correct hen laying feed for our hens. Both main feed and scratch. A very knowledgeable and patient staff and they explained each food and it's beneficial use for our hens. read more

Kelley's has no business at all selling any kind of aquatic pet!!!! I dropped off my truck for repairs at nearby shop and walked over thinking I could kill a few hours while waiting for my truck. Wrong!!!!! As soon as I stepped into their aquarium room it was obvious it hadn't been taken care of in weeks. As a hobby enthusiast it made me super mad to see the conditions the fish were being kept in. There were several tanks with sick fish. Not just a white spot here and there it was a full fungal attack. When I returned several hours later to take photos I found an employee cleaning out tanks. Thank God he at least removed all the dead fish from the about 10 to 15 different tanks we found dead fish in. When I was leaving the store I asked the person at the front desk if they weren't hiring someone to look after the fish and he's response was " the guy who is supposed to be there today is unloading the truck." But when there is brown algae on every tank in your fish room there is no way possible it could've covered every tank in there in just a few days. To me it seems like they stock up and never look after their product (the fish) if you ever decide to buy a fish from here I plead you to put it in quarantine before you put it in your tank. And Kelley's if you see this hire someone who knows what quarantine means when talking about fish. Yes I asked the guy who was cleaning the tanks if he used the same sponges to clean the tanks with the sick fish in and guess what he said!!He did!!! Not only do you have a fish room full of sick fish. You dont even have employees who know what they are doing!! Stick to dogs or whatever else you guys sell STAY AWAY FROM FISH KEELYS!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

We were recommended this place by the company that recently installed our windows. We were looking for a pet store that had employees that could actually help and answer our questions (unlike Petsmart). We were told to come here and we were not disappointed!! We explained our concerns and needs for our dogs and why we wanted to switch food. They recommended EarthBorne Holistic for our dog who has hip problems because of the glucoseamine (?) in it. Needless to say it has done wonders for him and we are so happy the staff is actually knowledgeable on their products and how to best serve our dogs. We come here often and love that it is a local, family ran company. Support local and give this place a shot, they really know their stuff! read more

Love this place. Been going here with my dad since I was a little boy. I love it when they used to have live animals. Now they really don't have it as much as they used to. The prices here are great. The products are great also. The customer service is on point. The guys are always there to assist in anything you need. They will even offer to carry out your purchased items to your car. That's what I love about this place. The workers are passionate about their job/customer, very kind/welcoming and professional. There are two locations, Fresno and Clovis. The one in Fresno is my favorite one. They seem to have more of the things you're looking for there compare to the other one. read more

Called and asked if they had bunnies, they said yes we have lop eared bunnies. I said PERFECT that's exactly what I'm looking for! And so I drive all the way over there (isn't close to me house) and they're not lop eared bunnies, they're you're typical rabbits. And the people working there were very rude.
