Tractor supply is much better than Atwoods friendlier staff and they do whatever it takes to get you the product you need!

Luke's BBQ - 3 meat combo with ribs, sliced brisket, and burnt ends.

Ok, I'll preface this with I KNOW my 'que…read more.. I'm a former partner in 3 Guys Smokin', Tulsa original "poster children" for barbecue competitions here. We started in 1987 and founded the Art of BBQ, the former fundraiser for Tulsa's Arts and Humanities Council, as well as the Bixby Blues 'n BBQ competition. Over the years we won MULTITUDES of awards, with our biggest claim that our baked beans took second in the world at the KC Royal. We manufactured and marketed three award-winning sauces and a dry rub. Case made?? Good, keep going please! I accidentally found Luke's a few years back and now I'll drive to Coweta from Tulsa for lunch as it's THAT GOOD!! It's honestly some of the best BBQ I've ever eaten. I went last week for lunch and got my usual, sliced brisket and pulled pork. Both were incredible, but the pork was AMAZING, something that usually doesn't impress me. I can get a butt nice and juicy, but NOTHING like Luke's!!! Not sure if they brine, inject, or what they do?? The meat is soaked with delicious juices and you can tell that it's inside, not just added if that makes sense. The brisket came off the point, which is not what I typically prefer, but it too was incredible. Go early, burnt ends seem to sell out first. Great portions, I always bring home leftovers. I'll TRY not to dive in to my plate and get some pics next time; can't promise tho...

Finally made it here. I'm from TX, so I judge every BBQ place by their brisket. Lukes is probably…read morethe best I've had in OK (places in Wellston and Pawhuska are pretty close, too). It had a good bark, smoke ring, was tender and had great flavor. The portion size was healthy, too. The okra was average, but the portion size was plentiful. The beans were very good, but sweeter than I prefer. My wife had the beef ribs which were the best outside Kansas City I've tasted. She did not care for the mac and cheese but liked the smoke flavor the the white cheese they used. Order at the counter and they bring the food to you. It is a tiny mom and pop place so be there by 10:30 to avoid a line that steadily grows until opening. Lukes reminds me of some of the best small, local BBQ joints you find all over Texas. I hope to get back here when I'm in the Tulsa area.

Billy Ray's Catfish & BBQ - Broken Arrow - Amazing plate, brisket was a little dry but great overall

I love this place. It's becoming one of my favorite go to's for quick and easy barbecue dinner. I…read moreget the bologna dinner and for $15. It's a large portion of bologna you get two sides. You could get a half order and then you get one side, but it's just a couple dollars more for the full order so I tend to go that way. This time they gave me so much okra, which was great. I will say I always ask for lots of pickles and onions and I only ever get a little bit of pickle and onion so I could use more of that. Overall, it's always good flavor. It's always quick friendly service. I appreciate their drive-through you order you pull around back. They bring out your food. It's fresh made to order. I love it every time.

The Broken Arrow location offers me a total of 14% discount through my Chase Freedom Flex (love this credit card) and Upside. Billy Ray's Catfish & BBQ does not have the best ribs or BBQ. Ribs were less tender and meats were sticking to some part of bones. Fried catfish filets were on the smaller side. Baked beans and green tomato relish sides were good. If you're able to get good discounts, I would recommend to check it out. Without discounts, I feel like there are better restaurants out there with better catfish and BBQ for the same cost. Super friendly service as well.

And argumentative. (Strike 3) Ambiance Looks like every BBQ joint in Oklahoma... Just about... WAGON WHEEL light fixture, deer head(s), and the obligatitory fire place. Food There are many other places such as rib crib, and Billy Simms that taste much better. The baked beans were not good at all. The turkey and chicken were okay. The so called spicey sauce tasted like ketchup with hot sauce added. Yuck! (Strike 4) The sliced brisket tastes dry. The chopped brisket did not taste good at all. The table sauce tasted better than the "spicy", but neither tasted better than black pepper on the table. Overall Once the food showed up, the server never returned. Not a positive experience. Considering this was our first and last visit, and we were here for our anniversary. Not happy at all. Military Either military or tax excempt.

Well ordered in through the ChowNow app. My husband got the pork rib dinner with baked beans, mac n cheese, pickle/onion and a roll. I got the sampler which came with onion rings, chicken, brisket, pulled pork and two ribs with ranch and mild sauce. This was our first visit. We were celebrating me getting through the first half of my fall semester of college and graduating from OT(because I will be getting my pump soon for my lymphedema). When we finally got home and settled in, I managed to make it through half the meal, so I have dinner for tomorrow to say the least. But I do have to say it is yummy( especially when in all the chaos of the day, I forgot to eat lunch). I do recommend stopping in and picking some up for lunch.

The kids meals had 2 small tenders and a side with a drink. The sliced brisket was moist and delicious. We had the chicken which ended up being pulled chicken. I wasn't terribly excited about this but when I tried it, I was pleasantly surprised. The potato salad and cole slaw were both good! The toast was also very good. The restaurant was clean as well. You can buy their BBQ sauce for $5 a bottle plus tax. They also have brownies topped with Oreos which the kids enjoyed. I'm so glad we found this local spot (they have 4 locations, I think. Sorry about the photo, my mom and I already split the plate. lol oh and adding a drink was only $2.99 whereas most places are $4+. The four of us ate for $37 including a military discount. We were with a group of about 7 people and it was easy to visit with no loud music playing or noise. The sweet potato fries were really good! The burnt ends were good (my husband ordered these) and I enjoyed the pulled chicken. It was juicy and tasted extra good with the original barbecue sauce. The fried okra was ok. I prefer the okra cut into slices not the whole thing fried. I would recommend trying this place out if you are in the area!
