We're painting the whole interior, and I want to do it all at once. I've painted in the past, but I've always used Behr's Marquee and Premium Plus Ultra, but after reading a LOT of information online I decided I should give Sherwin Williams a try. So, I took the time to read up on what I could and packed the wife and baby in the car so we could go talk to one of the 'professionals' that are mentioned in most reviews. The people always say how it's such a value to have a professional who only deals with paint whom you can speak with at a SW, so I thought that would be nice! I'd love to talk to a pro! To say that I ended up talking to the least qualified person would be an understatement. This young man came up and was about as helpful as a touchscreen kiosk would have been, except that he didn't actually know anything about the paint. I asked him what the difference was between 'Emerald' and 'Duration' product lines and his response was, verbatim, "Emerald is our best and Duration is not too bad".... "Not too bad"? What kind of employees says that about their own product line?? By my count SW has about 9 or so product lines. So if Emerald is the 'best' and Duration is 'not too bad' then what does that make the other 7 or so products? Total trash? Garbage paint? When I pressed him for the differences he basically just repeated the same line about Emerald being the 'best'. The best at what? Color? Coverage? Durability? Uniformity? Needless to say, this was not the experience I expected. SW had the chance to explain to me the benefits of their paint, teach me something I didn't know, guide me in the right direction and make me a customer for life. They dropped the ball. Completely. I'm baffled that a company would place such uninformed and unhelpful people at the front lines like this. I left the building with the thought that I, a steel salesman, know more about paint than these "pros". What a shame.

That Chris guy is fun and fast! They have a great delivery service I like to utilize from time to time at no cost to me. I range my questions from sports to paint and someone there will have an answer, I recommend this store to anyone! In removing the original roof it left a distinctive white line and discoloration on the stucco of my home. I went to Elders after being told by a national company, that " it can't be done, impossible to match the stucco. Bradley took me on - He was knowledgable, patient and persistent.
