We're painting the whole interior, and I want to do it all at once. I've painted in the past, but I've always used Behr's Marquee and Premium Plus Ultra, but after reading a LOT of information online I decided I should give Sherwin Williams a try. So, I took the time to read up on what I could and packed the wife and baby in the car so we could go talk to one of the 'professionals' that are mentioned in most reviews. The people always say how it's such a value to have a professional who only deals with paint whom you can speak with at a SW, so I thought that would be nice! I'd love to talk to a pro! To say that I ended up talking to the least qualified person would be an understatement. This young man came up and was about as helpful as a touchscreen kiosk would have been, except that he didn't actually know anything about the paint. I asked him what the difference was between 'Emerald' and 'Duration' product lines and his response was, verbatim, "Emerald is our best and Duration is not too bad".... "Not too bad"? What kind of employees says that about their own product line?? By my count SW has about 9 or so product lines. So if Emerald is the 'best' and Duration is 'not too bad' then what does that make the other 7 or so products? Total trash? Garbage paint? When I pressed him for the differences he basically just repeated the same line about Emerald being the 'best'. The best at what? Color? Coverage? Durability? Uniformity? Needless to say, this was not the experience I expected. SW had the chance to explain to me the benefits of their paint, teach me something I didn't know, guide me in the right direction and make me a customer for life. They dropped the ball. Completely. I'm baffled that a company would place such uninformed and unhelpful people at the front lines like this. I left the building with the thought that I, a steel salesman, know more about paint than these "pros". What a shame.

That Chris guy is fun and fast! They have a great delivery service I like to utilize from time to time at no cost to me. I range my questions from sports to paint and someone there will have an answer, I recommend this store to anyone! This saves me time and eliminates any miscommunication as to what color, sheen and brand are desired by the customer. The pros behind the counter are always busy, but I seldom wait long. I ordered two paints to be mixed and the associate mixed two different paints than what I asked. Luckily, he fixed this by making me new ones, but that took even more time. My fiancé asked him the difference between matte and flat was and he said, "Umm... I don't know, let me show you." Lastly, when asking for account information, the sales associate asked, "Can I have your phone number?" When asking for my account information, I would like to be appropriately asked, "Do you have an account with us? What's your telephone number, so I can retrieve those records." Something along the lines of that. A casual, "What's your number?" is very off-putting and not formal for business transactions. I'm giving this a 2/5 stars because although the mixed the wrong colors, they fixed it before I left. I'm not sure if I'll come back since it takes so long to mix the paint both times.
