After my wife came home and got me back in through the backdoor, I took the knob apart. The Westlock help line pointed me toward Home Hardware. I had never heard of them, much less been there. When I got there, Craig Tyler greeted me. I told him my situation. I expected to buy a new knob assembly. Westlock no longer makes the one we had. Craig took my zip lock bag with all the pieces and proceeded to rebuild it before my very eyes. He even rekeyed it to our key. It may have taken him ten minutes. I could not believe it. After putting it back together and slipping it back in my bag, we proceeded to head to the front counter. I asked him how much I owed. He said nothing. I tried to pay him for his time. He would not take anything. I joked with him about him being a brain surgeon after hours. No one or no company has impressed me like Craig and Home Hardware did on Tuesday morning in a long long time. I am totally sold on them. They have a new customer for life. As I said earlier, I had never been there before. They serviced a part they did not sell me. Hats off! What a breath of fresh air. This was old fashioned customer service at its best. It made me feel like I was back in the days I grew up in at a store in my neighborhood. By the way, I was able to put the door knob back together in less than 10 minutes without any issues. Checkout was friendly, fast and easy. Today I went into the same store and couldn't find what I was looking for. I walked the entire store looking for an employee that would help me find it but I did not see a single employee anywhere! Even yelled into the back room but no reply. I did buy something else and went to checkout. There was only one clerk and she was struggling to checkout the couple in front of me. It took her about 5 minutes to get it right with them, although they only had 3 items. I won't be back to that store unless it is the only one left in Tulsa area.

After installing them on Sunday May 2nd around 3:15 I successfully inflated 3 of the 4 tires. The 4th tire was defective. It was something as simple as a pinched tube. I went to the Broken Arrow, OK location because it is closer to my house. I brought the complete defective tire/caster with me for just a simple exchange for one in working condition. The clerk called over a woman by the name of Lisa. Lisa informed me that all returns and exchanges required a receipt. I asked her if she could just call the other location to verify the purchase, rather than forcing me to drive 23 miles and about 30 minutes of my time for proof that I did in fact purchase a defective product. She told me that "they" are told from "high up" to enforce this policy of yours. She further explained to me that if she accepted this exchange she would be "written up". So I drove the distance for a receipt, then drove to my residence and then back to the location to make a full refund of all 4 tires. If I am going to be treated like this, I do not want you to have my business. When I did drive all the way back to Owasso, Jeanie was deeply apologetic for my inconvenience of dealing with this because I was sold a defective product and that I was being treated this way. On my return visit to the Broken Arrow location Marie just glanced at the receipt and promptly gave me a full refund. She offered the receipt back to me, but I had already made a copy for my records. Total cost of your pneumatic tires: $97.98 Miles driven: 50 Time wasted from being turned down for an exchange: 2.5 hours Savings from purchasing 10" pneumatic casters from a competitor: $29.82 And if I did get a defective product, I can just simply show my emailed receipt.
