After my wife came home and got me back in through the backdoor, I took the knob apart. The Westlock help line pointed me toward Home Hardware. I had never heard of them, much less been there. When I got there, Craig Tyler greeted me. I told him my situation. I expected to buy a new knob assembly. Westlock no longer makes the one we had. Craig took my zip lock bag with all the pieces and proceeded to rebuild it before my very eyes. He even rekeyed it to our key. It may have taken him ten minutes. I could not believe it. After putting it back together and slipping it back in my bag, we proceeded to head to the front counter. I asked him how much I owed. He said nothing. I tried to pay him for his time. He would not take anything. I joked with him about him being a brain surgeon after hours. No one or no company has impressed me like Craig and Home Hardware did on Tuesday morning in a long long time. I am totally sold on them. They have a new customer for life. As I said earlier, I had never been there before. They serviced a part they did not sell me. Hats off! What a breath of fresh air. This was old fashioned customer service at its best. It made me feel like I was back in the days I grew up in at a store in my neighborhood. By the way, I was able to put the door knob back together in less than 10 minutes without any issues. It works great!!! Thank you, Craig! Thank you, Home Hardware. As one of my favorite professors used to say: "May your tribe increase!"

service having worked at the store for a short time, i…read morerecognized two coworkers from that stint of employment, including the cashier, whom was friendly and kind, as i remember from our time working together. the section with weedeater trimmer line also had adequate signage, though its location in the same section of the store from when i worked there even further convenienced the shopping experience. selection the selection of trimmer line was various, including three thicknesses, each delineated by a distinct color. i purchased the thinnest trimmer line, the .065 variety, because the black & decker weedeater i've used most frequently for the current lawn care season includes instructions suggesting that measurement of thickness. the trimmer line fit well in the placeholding spool indent and spool itself, and although the cap to the trimmer head had fallen off the weedeater, i believe the only way to successfully operate any multipart machine is to address each component individually to the best of your ability, while keeping the overall function in mind. and that to say, if you have a weedeater cap compatible with a black & decker .065 trimmer line thickness, please refer to pictures below for indication of a specific model, and reach me at (539) 525-5464 if selling, because i am in the market for such a part. value although i do not remember the specific price of the trimmer line pack, i'd estimate it was about 10 bucks. and i'll also add what i recall about pricing from working at the store, that harbor freight has as its mission to provide quality tools at the lowest price available, though i worked in the warehouse so please do not ask me bout no price match lol.

First, I have been a loyal Harbor Freight Tools customer for years and years. I've made many…read morepurchases from Harbor Freight over the years. I never thought I would ever have an issue with their products or customer service. That has all changed as a result of my latest purchase during this past power outage. I learned a lot about portable power generators on this one. If the electric power to the gas pumps at Quik Trip ceases to work or Quik Trip runs out of gasoline, a gasoline powered portable power generator isn't going to be worth much, is it? Harbor Freight like most Tulsa retailers sold out of portable power generators within hours of the power outage. I patiently checked back with Harbor Freight daily; they finally received a shipment of generators. BTW, they refused to sell ANY floor models because "they didn't have the necessary items (whatever that might be?) to work properly". Really? All they need to work is OIL and GASOLINE.... OK, so I get the Harbor Freight portable power generator home only to find out it didn't have enough juice to power my portable room air conditioner. I could have lived with that, however the second day of operation, it began to leak GASOLINE! Talk about a fire hazard! When I returned the generator for a refund, I showed the store clerk a photograph of the fuel leak and explained that the unit is DEFECTIVE. Defective means defective. In response, the store clerk showed no empathy or sympathy for my situation and then informed me that if the box is opened for ANY reason, a restocking fee will be subtracted from the refund. I again made my case; the generator is DEFECTIVE and it isn't just a scratch on the paint, it LEAKS FUEL posing a FIRE HAZARD. You can check out their policy which is written on the back of their receipts. She stuck to her story and offered the refund minus a 20% restocking fee. I took the cash then left the store never to return again.
