BEWARE OF PETSMART DOG GROOMING. So, my daughter recently adopted a dog from TAWS that was posted…read moreas a standard poodle. We tossed around after we brought him home as to whether he might be mixed with Lab or even maybe a Bernese Mountain dog , as that is a popular mix but we have no idea what breed he is. I looked at Petsmart website in order to find out the cost of grooming and it is $91 for a standard poodle. When we picked him up we were told $130 because when my daughter called for the appointment she mentioned maybe a Bernedoodle. I mean what difference does it make? Well apparently a 45% price difference!! I called and told them that as far as we really know he is a Poodle, that is what the shelter told us but NO- he is in the system as a Bernedoodle and there is NOTHING that they can do about it. "We will not release the dog unless you pay in full." By the way, if he was a Labradoodle it would be $101 ! In other words, only the breed is considered. not temperament, not condition.I know, there are many small private groomers out there and we definitely should have gone to one, and we absolutely will in the future. Big corporations stink. By the way, the cut was horrendous. We asked for poodle cut and they basically just shaved him down, I could have done it myself witha pair of clippers. It was NOT a poodle cut, as requested, just a regular puppy cut.

this tulsa hills petsmart really went above and beyond and took care of me…read more long story, short, had placed an order on-line, through the petsmart app (that is moody, glitchy as hell) for pickup at this store. tried to use several of their "discount" offers, including the ones for milk-bone products. but for some reason, none of the milk-bone products were getting their "discounts" applied when tried to order through the petsmart app. so when went by to pickup my "everything but milk-bone products" on-line order, I mentioned my problem and frustration about the milk-bone products to "sydney" the manager. to my surprise, "sydney" not only apologized for my problems dealing with the stupid, glitchy, petsmart app, which was not her fault, but she went ahead and honored and gave me the milk-bone products discount there in the store. in fact, not only "sydney", the manager, but the other employees were very courteous and helpful. a real welcome surpise and relief that there still exists someone like "sydney" and her staff that actually still care and give a damn about customers and good ole customer service. sadly, there are just more and more stores, businesses, restaurants, etc., that just honestly don't give a crap about their products, service, and how they treat their customers. thankfully this tulsa hills petsmart is NOT one of them. go show them some love and support. tell "sydney", the manager that I said "hi", and that you read my review and wanted to show them some love and support.

Never again PetSmart!!! We brought our dog in for a grooming at 8am with the expectation of…read moregetting him back in 4 hours. Well.... It's been over 6hours now and our dog still needs another 30 minutes until he is done. What is the point of scheduling in your pet in for a grooming if that appointment is not honored? The groomers said they were over booked today, but that is not the customers problem. We would speak to the manager, but they are not here(shocker). We figure that they did not start on our dog until we called to check on him at noon. There was no charge for the services and the groomers were apologetic but that is un called for on PetSmart's part. We will not be back again. Update- it was 7 and a half hours after all was said and done.

I've started a little garden in the balcony. There is a hole in one of the woods in the deck…read morerailing, very popular for birds to build nest. The birds have been fighting each other for that spot. The current birds are able to drive the previous birds nesting in there. They destroyed the old nest and currently building a new one. I found an intact egg belonging to the old birds last week in my herb garden. There was one broken egg outside of the garden. I placed the intact egg back in the nest. Hopefully, the new birds can hatch it but it's going to look different from the other hatchlings once hatched. The birds have been clipping my peppermint plants and pulling them out of the ground. I put them back but they kept on pulling them out. So I decided to buy them bird feed at PetSmart hoping that they would stop pulling my peppermint plants out of the ground. In hindsight, the birds are pulling my peppermint stalks from the ground to build the nest but not to eat. Everything makes sense now. What a waste of effort. I am no longer growing peppermint but if they destroy my other plants, I am sealing that hole. The birds don't like the bird feed at PetSmart. I put it out but they don't seem to eat it.

By all the hype I was confident to leave my pup in their care for grooming. Upon picking him up all I could notice was that some hair was cut from over his eyes. He was still shaggy, nails still long and did not smell like a bath. 2 days later cut hair is shedding everywhere he lays. Alarmed by hair shedding I called and was told to to bring him back for a brushing and blow dry. Really⁉ wasn't that part of the service? No apology for the unearned $38 charge or the 45-minute drive to and from their shop. Instead, I was offered an undetermined discount on his next grooming. Really⁉ as if there's a chance in dog heaven that I would ever entrust them again for my puppy's grooming. So, today, a week later, I have an appointment with another groomer for a better job than they did (OR NOT) and charged me for Pics below of hair on his room's carpet and how shaggy he looked after treatment. Three stars for friendly service and store products. Grooming would be minuses 5 if made available. I would not recommend the grooming services AT ALL. Just a livid new puppy owner
