This place is located next to a wide street and the parking is horrible. The restaurant is small so that brings in a new problem which is seating. If you go in a large group, it's not very comfortable but the food. Wife and I ordered the Double Dipped wings, chicken nachos and fries. Look this is a Fat Guy Alert..the wings are huge and full of flavor and nothing but an A+. The chicken nachos blended well but wife didn't like the chicken. The fries who cares we were into the wings. Look beside small rest rooms, small seating area and horrible parking, the food is great with the emphasis on the Double Dip wings. The sign out front proudly proclaims they've been around since 1972. Making a restaurant out of train cars was cool then, and it's cool today. In fact, I think everything would be cooler if it was made out of train cars. Except trains. Of course train cars don't help you unless you are putting out some seriously good food, and these guys do just that. My burger was impressive; more beef than a cattle ranch and cooked perfectly to my requested medium rare. I had the Jerusalem burger, which was loaded with sauteed artichokes and mushrooms. So delicious, but so massive I couldn't even finish it. We came in on the recommendation of a local business partner. He didn't steer us wrong. It was crowded at lunch, but we sat in the bar area and didn't have to wait. Seems that many of the complaints come from folks about the unexpected wait. So I'm telling you now, just expect to wait. You know the old saying: "Good things come to those who complain about it on Yelp." Oh, they don't say that? It's close to the airport. Swing by if you have the time and you are in town. First of all this place is a great place for wings. We are visiting from out of town and wanted a burger. Google led us to track one. The restaurant its self is in rail carts so you a basically eating in a train. Very cool place. We ordered a bacon cheese burger and double dipped wings. The burger tasted just like a homemade burger. Very hardy and flavorful. Now let's get to these double dipped wings. Omg, I have never had such great wings. I didn't want them to end. I didn't expect to finish them. Of course I shared but I probably could have ate the full order myself. They have great flavor, amazing crunch. I also ordered the classic margarita and a pineapple margarita both were made excellent. Very reasonably priced food and alcohol. We also ordered the carrot cake that we took Togo. I couldn't eat another bite but everything we had was amazing so I had to get dessert as well. Lastly our service, since Covid I saw a decrease in great customer service anywhere I went. Track one really brought back that great customer service. Our wonderful waitress Miss America Aka Amy was awesome! She made us feel welcomed the second we sat down. She talked to us as if we knew each other for years. We were not customers but friends. When I do visit track one again I will be sure to ask to sit in Amy's section. This place has been recommended to me numerous times. All my friends know I absolutely love wings. This one is always mentioned as a contender. One day I found myself driving back from the east side and I thought, "Hey, why not?" So I called ahead and placed a to go order. They said it would be about 10-15 minutes. The double dip wings were fantastic. The honey hot sauce was a perfect combination of sweet and hot. I the fries had great seasoning, and I was impressed by even their ranch. So when I say the wings here are great, I'm going off others words and my own, boneless preferring preferences lol. This place is somewhat famous, or at least it used to be. One of my must have's when I'm in town. Seriously I'm drooling and picking up my mouth as I'm typing this review. I don't know how they do it but they have some of the best wings in my opinion. This gem has been a part of my family's memories for many many years now. Track One is a restaurant situated within an old train trailer. The staff is super friendly here and you will be treated with the utmost respect. I love the fact you can have a full order of wings and grab two flavors. They're known for their Double Dip which is once dipped in hot sauce, then battered and dipped in honey. I prefer the sweet (all honey) and bbq flavors. The fries taste like curly fries but are string fries. They come in a family share size but I recommend grabbing a basket for every 2-3 people. I wish I had an order right now so I could have some but thankfully my next trip home is already booked. read more

Has been place! I've come here all my life. I never thought I'd not come here. Well tonight did it! Waited over 2 hours when I was hold it was an hour I think they forgot us. A group of three same size of my party and they were told they could sit at the bar when we asked not 5 minutes before. Icing on the cake we have ordered the same thing for over 20 years the double dipped wings. They were horrible flavorless and sauce was not like it usually is. We went to this locale on two different occasions. It's an actual train, and it's quite charming! The food is good, a tad bit pricey. I've included photos of our visits. The double dip wings were excellent! The salad was HUGE, as was the club sandwich. There is an extra plate charge of $1.50 if you want to share a meal. The only drawback in this place was the service. On one occasion we sat at a high top in the bar area, and the bartender was our wait person as well. She was busy at the bar, so needless to say we didn't see much of her. We actually had to go to the bar and ask for the check. I'm so happy that we finally dined here! We decided to have dinner here on Sunday and hope that the wait time wasn't bad. The location of this restaurant is not your "prettiest" but there are plenty of customers going in and out and the parking lot is well lit. There are plenty of parking spots along the road and there are a few right in front of the restaurant. Oh and plenty of handicapped parking! As soon as we arrived, we checked in with the hostess and he said the wait would only be about 25 minutes. We decided to wait as the lobby wasn't full. Our wait turned out to only be about 15 minutes long and we were seated at the bar. The bar is quite small. There are about 7 seats that actually face the bar and about three seats that face a wall but are considered "bar seats." You don't have to wait for someone to bring over menus as they are placed already right in front of you. (Behind the condiments) You do have to be 21 and older to sit at the bar as the bartender will ask to see an ID even if your not consuming alcohol. The bartender was super friendly and attentive! We received such great service and he seemed so happy doing his job! Picking one entree was super hard as everything seemed pretty good! Our ordered consisted of: One "Julian" Chicken sandwich (9.99) One "Track One" burger (8.99) One order of double dipped wings (10.99) One side ranch (0.59) Beer Dr. Pepper The Julian sandwich was surprisingly really good! The chicken was juicy, grilled, and had plenty of flavor! We also loved the double dipped wings! The wings come in order sizes of 5 and 10. These wings are HUGE though!! Both the burger and the chicken sandwich come with side toppings (tomato, onion, lettuce, pickles) and they come with some bomb a** seasoned fries! Oh and the food portions are BIGGGGGGG! The restaurant is very tiny so if your not into being in a small crowded room with a ton of people, then this isn't the place for you. It's not only full with adults and kids but the employees as well. We will definitely be back for more wings! We spent about $45 and we left happy that the food and service were good! read more

Finally stopped into Tack one to give this place a try. Every time we drive by it's alway packed. There were two in my party and we sat at the bar to avoid waiting but the hostess was hustling to get everyone sat ASAP. We waited a few minutes to be greeted but after that we had great very attentive service. We ordered the California burger, western burger, an order of onion rings and a half order of fries. The burgers we split and shared and they were huge! Both were very good and cooked to order. The California was my favorite but that was just personal preference. All the ingredients seemed very fresh. The fries were nice and crispy. The onion rings were thick, crispy, and seemed fresh made not frozen. Best onion rings I've had in a while. The ranch seemed hand made as well. My husband ordered a crown n coke and the bartender poured that well as well. We were both very happy with our meal and service. I saw some people get bumped into while trying to eat as other people walked by their tables. However, the seating area is a train car and it kind of goes with the theme. The tables are really neat though. The seats are comfortable. I ordered the double dipped wings, fries, and chips/salsa for an appetizer. All were made really well, the dishwater and utensils were clean, and the food didn't take long to come out. I personally was a little disappointed by the wings. I didn't care much for the flavor. However, that could be a "me" thing, because it seemed like many ordered those wings. The price wasn't terrible. This place got busy real quick, which I think indicates it's probably a local favorite for many. I wasn't overall too thrilled but I think it deserves another chance. read more

I don't care what happens after this point, but those were the best Buffalo wings I've had since we moved here 10 months ago, excluding wing-specific restaurants because I haven't gone to those yet. The sauce was abundant, which is often forgotten these days, moist, crunchy, and piping hot. You should be able to dip your fries lovingly into the left over sauce, yum! Being a lifelong El Pasoan (mostly anyway), I've only been here once. I can't believe it! I plan to make some more visits soon. I went sometime before Covid-19 was a thing with a friend. Surprisingly, it wasn't packed. I've heard people line up for their food pretty often. Track One is known for their wings so that's what we had. They were great! They're tender and have lots of sauce on them. I believe they only have the bone in wings, no boneless or cauliflower. Another option for those who prefer boneless is their chicken strips. They also serve burgers, various sandwiches nachos, salads, etc. The restaurant's concept/setup is pretty original. Track One was established in 1972 by three owners. They created the meeting spot using three railroad cars. Their website says they used a dining car, a caboose and a reefer box car from 1920. I don't think I've heard of anything else like it here or even out of town. Definitely try at least once. This is a classic staple in El Paso. It's pretty close to the airport. read more

My husband had visited this place years ago and knew I would love it here. He was completely right!! The wait is long, but when you're in good company it flies by. We waited about 35-40 minutes for a table. The atmosphere is super cool! The stained glass on the side of the table was beautiful, the music is loud, but not overbearing. The tables have cool railroad wheels! The food is sooo tasty. I absolutely loved the Longhorn Burger I got. The meat is juicy and cooked to perfection. Finally got me some track one ! Unfortunately we ordered on a weekend and the wait was just too long so we got takeout. My wife went in so I didn't see inside first hand but she said it was super small, which makes sense cause they are ALWAYS busy lol. Parking lot and the surround area was packed too, we had to "make out own" park to pick up the food lol....now on to the food, I LOVED IT ! The double dip sauce is very tasty. It's sticky sweet and has a lil hint of spice...it was cooked to perfection, extra crispy just how I like it! They don't have a drink menu but they stated they have a "full bar", we asked for a Miami Vice and Hennessy and coke but the bartender didn't know how to make the Miami Vice and they didn't have Hennessy. So I opted to go with a strawberry margarita and it was tasty. Service 4/10 : The waitress took our order and didn't write anything down and forgot a few things on our order but it's ok she grabbed it quick. This place is extremely packed on a Saturday and the waitresses and hostess seemed very overwhelmed so even though you might be seated your waitress will walk past you for 10-15min before greeting you and taking your order.
