This place was highly recommended by a friend of mine that lives here in El Paso so off I went for dinner. The ambiance of the place is unique. Established in 1972, they combined 3 railroad cars together, threw in a bar, some tables and chairs, and kitchen. They named it "Track One" and the rest is history. The menu is pretty extensive from steaks, burgers, and sandwiches to kabobs and salads. Came in on a tuesday evening and the place was packed. Since I was solo I just went to the bar since there was no wait. I love wings so I got a full order of the "Double Dip" wings as recommended. A full order ($14.99) is 10 pieces and comes with celery and your choice of bleu cheese or ranch. The Double Dip. Oh my. The wings themselves are huge and is deep fried to a crispy perfection. The sauce is just a simple mixture of honey and hot sauce. It's not spicy at all with just a tiny kick. Don't get the full order if you are planning to eat anything else other than dessert. Which brings me to the dessert that the bar waitress recommended. A chocolate chip cookie topped with ice cream. It was more like a small muffin but nevertheless it was a great segway coming from the wings. Overall, the service, food, and ambiance was nothing short of fantastic. I'm a wing fanatic and the Double Dip just maybe one of my all time favorite flavors! If you come here for the first time and not try the Double Dip wings than we can't be friends! Track One - Double Dip Wings. A blend of honey and hot sauce. Not as spicy as you would think. So good! - American Near Me - El Paso, Texas

I passed this spot a bazillion times exiting the 10 for certain mid-city destinations. It's in a sort of funky little stretch of Buffalo Soldier, south of Montana, but I noticed it often because it's usually busy and often packed. But it took me two years to stop, haha! Other reviews cover everything, so I will just add a bullet list of who I think will enjoy Track One. If you like these things, you'll probably like Track One: 1) Big, crispy wings with several good sauce options: mild, hot, lemon pepper, double dip (a sort of sweet and spicy sauce akin to a mild/med mango-chile.) I think I'm forgetting one more flavor. Bonus: Mine weren't over or undercooked, which isn't that common. Nice and juicy. They seem to be best known for wings and burgers, but I saw that plenty of regulars seemed to have other favs, and their to-go biz was steady also. 2) Unique spaces - the train cars each have a bit of a different feel, too. The overall feel is casual historic and a bit western. My favorite area is the bar. 3) Classic, mostly American food/menu, executed well. Things like meatloaf, salmon over rice, burgers. I saw a lot of dishes come out, and I have a feeling the kitchen runs well/has experience. This place is NOT hipster food. Fairly large portions for most dishes. 4) Solid service. I wanted for nothing and the bartender checked in with me just the right amount. Not too much, not too little. They also got the little details right, like three big thick paper napkins and a wet nap arrived right alongside my order of sticky wings ;) read more

Gets very crowded so be prepared. Was with a large group and we were sat in a cute semi private area. Great customer service, very attentive. My party loved the wings and I had the chicken nachos. Too many tomatoes but I will definitely return and try another entree. read more

We had to wait and when they call you your whole party has to be present before the seat you. The inside is so cute. The service was standard but definitely recommend getting the double dip wings. The pastrami sandwich was delicious as well. Definitely will come back here for wings. read more

¡Viva El Chuco! "Track one," home of the "double dipped wing," voted best wings in El Paso year after year! I Rate this place an 8.6 That's a massive score I like seeing restaurants doing something different with wings. The typical open-the-freezer rip the bag and drop it in the oil bores the s""" out of me. I think that the progress of the human race gives us the responsibility to reinvent the "wing," and this place is on the right path! You don't have to look far to see what makes this an El Paso staple. Shout out to the incredible staff that make "Track One" part of the ultimate El Paso experience. read more

Great wings!!! This place s always busy once seated service is prompt. It's a train car it's a tight fit.

Hotel front staff recommend this restaurant & we were not disappointed. We ordered wings (which they are known for) & they were fabulous ! (We are not wing eating folk) The burger & sandwich were above average- (tender juicy grilled chicken) It was very busy even at 4 pm- had to eat at the bar. Staff was great. The restaurant has a couple train cars as part of the building. Worth trying!! read more

Track One - Inside at bar - American Near Me - El Paso, Texas

First the disappointment, online ordering. Placed my order and promised 25 minutes. Using the online order tracker, my order was completed on time, presumably. I went inside and was told it's going to take another 15 to 20 minutes. So I waited. 45 minutes after placing my order it was completed. Half the food was cold and missing a condiment. Excellent wings and a burger, it's a shame it took as long as it did. Maybe next time let me know it's going to be 45 minutes. read more

Double dipped wings were delicious as advertised. Also ordered a quesadilla which was good but a little on the pricey side. The place is ALWAYS packed. Which is funny because there is not a lot of room there. Did a to go order which was super convenient (staying at the TownePlace next door). read more

Was given this place as suggestions by El Paso locals and it truly did not disappoint. Upon pulling up to the location, the parking lot and street were packed (a sign of a happening spot), but also the place isn't the largest due to it being two vintage train cars. There was a wait, it was a Friday night, and the locals were out in full force, but I was able to secure a seat at the bar without waiting. It's a nice vibe, not too loud, and eccentrically decorated. Sat at the bar and ordered the homemade potato chips (loaded with cheese and bacon) and the lemon pepper wings (with fries). Y'all... I now know why it was suggested! Having had The Shack a different week, Track One is THE ONE! read more

My new year's resolution is to spend more quality time with family and we went somewhere we all enjoyed for my birthday dinner, Track One! It's an institution in El Paso and the wait times are beyond ridiculous (1 hr 45 mins last night) but that's because it's extremely popular. The service was friendly and fast, the food satisfying and delicious, the prices for quantity and quality reasonable, and the ambiance is date friendly as well as family friendly since it's in a train caboose! I ALWAYS take my out of town guests here because the double dip is just something I haven't found outside of El Paso and it's that good! Now that we have the famous wings (I prefer the strips because you can also get them coated in the double dip sauce and ratio is much better for sauce to lips) covered, I want to talk about their burgers. It took me four times to finally try the burger just because there's so much good stuff on the menu including the nachos. Their portions are huge and I feel like I'm wasting food if I order more than the wings and one other item. Their burgers are ridiculously big and overstuffed with ingredients. We got the Western burger and it came with 1/2 lb Angus beef, onion rings, bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, raw onions, BBQ sauce, and a toreado jalapeno on top. It was basically the size of my face and we couldn't finish it; took the other half home. The best part was that the buns held and didn't fall apart like all the other buns in Texas! The wait was so long, I ended up going to the bar to order my birthday drink. They had something called a Trainwreck that won a lot of awards from the Malibu Bartender's Competition. It's made from muddling frozen blackberries and three types of Malibu runs (Coconut, Lime and Passionfruit). It was sweet and the texture pulpy and seedy, and it was strong. I was definitely a trainwreck after that. It's a super fun place but I always feel rushed just because there's always families and crowds waiting for seats. Highly recommend it and come out and support local! Track One (915) 779-2170 1330 Buffalo Soldier Rd, El Paso, TX 79925 read more

While our car was having a service performed at a local dealership, we walked to Track One for lunch. My wife had the tuna melt with a side salad and I had the pastrami sandwich and Swiss with a side of onion rings. Everything was very good. Since the restaurant is located in 2 railroad cars and a caboose, the interior is very interesting. Service was great. read more

As a resident of El Paso Texas, this has always been one restaurant that is a must. The food is great and delicious. OH MY GOD Their wings are top tier ! Easily some of the best wings I have tried in my life , double dipped sauce is heavenly ! The burgers are well crafted and taste delicious too! It was my first time visiting and I cannot wait to go back! The whole train concept is super fun and unique as well, I had never been inside a train and this was my first time, such a cool experience. Staff is super friendly as well, we went during the week and it was a little busy, we didn't have to wait or anything but as soon as people left the tables were filled with new people. I can see this place easily getting busy at nights and weekends, still worth the wait ! read more

Best wings in Texas, by far. The double dipped wings and fries, with their ranch, is top notch.

Busy place no seating for those waiting. Double dip wings with lemon pepper was good. Bar area is loud from employee personal conversations, not a good place to sit if offered to reduce waiting for table read more

Double dip wings is crazy nuts!! I'm heading back in the future. Atmosphere is different, service is awesome, drinks galore and then there's those wings. Check um out! read more

This place is so cute! I didn't take my kids thinking it didn't look kid friendly. Take your kids. It's trained themed and in an old train car. We split a few items. The waitress recommended the twice baked wings. The wings are huge and meaty. My husband and I ordered a 10 count wings and an order of chicken nachos. That was so much food! I was shocked with how good the food was and that I hadn't heard about this place. We are taking our inlaws there in two weeks. We went on a Sunday evening and it was still very busy. read more

It's a bit of a dive...but it's a cool dive. The outside looks like the restaurant was built on a train track and you're about to have a meal in the caboose. It almost reminds you of a scene in a western. Their menu is good with typical American fare. Their website says best wings in El Paso and I gotta stay I'm probably going to have to agree. I had the double dip and it definitely had that sweet fiery mixture that were so good I had to order seconds. I also was able to inhale their Big Chief kabob with steak and shrimp, along with fries. It came on a skewer, steak was a little dry but I appreciate a good surf and turf combo. Looking around at the other guests at the bar, I would say their wings are the big reason for coming here. And there was a bit of a wait at lunch time so I can tell they're popular. But if you're not a wing person, and you didn't build toy locomotives as a kid, there probably isn't much reason for you to make your way out there. Go once for the experience, you'll enjoy it! read more

Been here multiple times. The smallness of the restaurant makes for a very slow turnaround time for people to come in and out which in turn leads to really long wait times. Food is okay but is a bit pricey. Servers are nice. Another thing I noticed is that you can tell management does communicate well to staff which leads to multiple miscommunications across staff to customers. read more

If you're looking for a dive with excellent wings and some of the best French fries in town, look no further, but be prepared to wait. A buddy of mine told me about this spot because of the wings but was surprised to find out they only really have 3 flavors. - Hot - BBQ - Plain - Lemon Pepper - Double Dip Food: We ordered the double dip wings, hot wings, chicken quesadilla with a side of fries. The double dip was a solid wing. Very meaty. Juicy and flavorful with a sweet and savory honey sauce (sounds crazy but it's good.) The hot wings were pretty average tasting but still very meaty. The chicken quesadilla was seasoned well and left a fresh taste even though it's all very unhealthy (lol). The greatest thing about this place was their fries and ranch. Hands down some of the best tasting fries I've had in years alongside a homemade ranch that I couldn't get enough of! Atmosphere: Dive bar feel. Almost seemed like a home turned into a full blown restaurant. A little dark, the tables/seats are very close together and the ceiling is low (watch out tall people!) Wait: This is my only real gripe. We went at 11:15am (they open at 11am) and it was a solid 25-30 minute wait. Next time I will probably just call in an order and pickup. Overall: Solid wing spot for a place with such few flavors. Will definitely be back, but might call in. read more

First time here from out of town. Highly recommended by my sister in law. Friendly staff, great ambiance and bar food was great!

Track one never disappoints. Service and food has exceeded my expectations time after time. You MUST try their double dipped wings!!

Y'all, I think I found my new wing place. Ambiance - Inside some old caboose with retro decor. It's definitely a throwback and transports you to the past. Service - The wait was a bit long, but remember that the bar is open seating! Service was quick and efficient despite how busy the place was. Food - Got the double dipped wings and lemon pepper ones. Both were delicious and not too heavy. Definitely get the double dipped wings if you haven't before. I mostly tasted the honey, but I wish I got a bit more of the spiciness. Also go the killer nachoes which were great and much lighter than expected, making for a good balance with the wings. Overall, super cool place to visit at least once in you're in El Paso! read more

I was told to come here for the best wings in town and they did not disappoint. Understand that your eating in railroad cars so it's a hit cramped, but the staff is nice and attentive. We ordered the chili cheese fries and beef nachos. Both were very big orders so be prepared to eat. The nachos were amazing as it really did t matter what chip you grabbed cause it would still have everything on it. The chili cheese fries had homemade chili on them. Both were great. We both got the double fried wings and the cook on them was good. The sauce they use is a little sweeter then I was expecting but good. I will totally be back read more

Just passing through and a coworker recommended this spot for wings.... Yup, I'll give it a whirl. Got the Double Dip Full (10 wings) with a side of fries. It's more food than you think...I def had leftovers. Bottom line, really tasty! Super crisp with a nice sweet undertone. They say spicy but they are not at all. That would be my biggest critique.... More heat. Otherwise, check them out! Also, fun ambiance in the train cars. read more

Super disappointing experience. Here from California and all we heard was try Track One. Cool concept in a train car. Not a long wait time to sit BUT my Salad kinda never arrived. Let me explain. Kids got tenders: husband got wings, son got burger - All I wanted was the Salad. Not sure if the waitress forgot but we had to remind her when she brought ALL the other food and long story short- it didn't arrive until everyone was done. At that point I asked her to take it back since everyone was done and she asked if I just didn't want to take it to go. Why would I take a salad to go in 100 degree weather after waiting, watching my family eat and I'm gonna eat it in a car? No thanks. She was nice enough to say she didn't put it on the check. Why would I pay for something I didn't get? It was a Salad! Super disappointing experience and not even an offer to comp the kids soda or something. Won't return. What I did taste was the ranch that came with the kids meal, thumbs up. I ate a. Lemon pepper wing that was salty. Fries were mediocre. Double dip wings were ok according to husband. Son enjoyed cowboy burger. Not worth the hype. read more

Long wait but we knew that from reading reviews. My husband and I both got a steak. They were just ok. The veggies that came with it smelled like fish. We could not eat them.
