20 WING PLATTER
Jared A.

The wings were fantastic here, really good on the texture and flavor wasn't too bad either. My kids had Mac n cheese, tenders and mini dogs. My kids gobbled up the Mac n cheese and the tenders (which they rarely like tenders). The music inside was loud so we went outside where our waitress noticed it was windy and the waitress put up the wind block, Very much appreciated lol. Overall it was a great place and I'd go again

Great food and service, came after a flight to visit El Paso from Denver, enjoyed every part about it. Nothing like a good wing sports bar with all the college football games you want to watch.

Disappointed!!! Just moved to the area... its NBA playoffs... wings! Right? Wrong- horrible welcome to the area. Ordered wings for pickup- get them- bring them home only to find that my garlic/ buffalo wings are smeared and garnished in cheese. Wtf? Yuck. So i call them and tell the host my concern. She transfers me to a manager that answers without giving me his name and says... all garlic/ buffalo wings are garnished in layered shredded cheese? Excuse me sir, if that was the case why does the menu not indicate this or place the garnish on the side? No response. He then says " he will tell higher ups that the menu needs to be updated" ... im flabbergasted. No real offer to fix the issue- no offer to remake them- he literally told me that he could place me on hold and talk to his cook. Yall, Get wings someplace else... this aint it! Trust me- i compliment more than complain- the owners of this place need to reconsider who they have running the place because this is NOT customer service. Oh and the garlic parm ones were mid at best/ cold fries

Cucumber Chiller

First time eating at The Shack. Had the mild chicken wings with blue cheese. Extremely tasty. Husband had the teriyaki and the garlic buffalo which he thoroughly enjoyed. The best thing we had was the Cucumber Chillers!! Oh My God I could drink those all day long!! Our server was great. Just the right amount of attentiveness. Love the ambiance of this restaurant. Has a cool vibe. Would definitely come back when in El Paso.

10 wings, lemon pepper and Koren bbq.

First time eating here. Our table ordered fried pickles which were pretty good and a good amount. The batter is actually has a little kick to it but stays on the pickle and not soggy. For food I ordered traditional wings with 2 sauces-lemon pepper and Korean BBQ, nothing wow about it, literally tastes like regular sweet bbq sauce. I'm the kind of person who likes crush wings and the lemon pepper were cooked pretty good but the bbq ones, skin was soggy. I left 3 of them. I also ordered the sweet potato fries. They were also good and crispy. I would return. To try one of there sandwiches

We were served by Justin. We had to ask twice for everything he was very forgetful. He would disappear to the back for long periods. It was so bad all his table around us were borrowing silverware and pepper shakers because he was nowhere to be found. I would go back but would ask for a different server.

Extremely Disappointed, Multiple Issues Throughout…read more I had high expectations for this restaurant given its chophouse reputation, but our experience was disappointing from start to finish. We ordered the bone marrow appetizer, iceberg wedge, Caesar salad, and two kids meals to go. Unfortunately, nearly every aspect of our order had problems. The bone marrow was excessively salty to the point of being inedible. We tried to salvage it by scraping away the salt, but ultimately had to throw it out, I was not happy as you know bone marrow is not cheaply priced. The salsa macha accompanying it was also missing. My Caesar salad arrived with wilted lettuce literally hanging out of the container, clearly not fresh enough to serve. One kids meal had the wrong side item, no silverware was provided, and our drinks were forgotten entirely. We returned to address these issues, and while the manager was apologetic and remade our order, the replacements were still subpar. My LARGE salad was noticeably smaller than what I originally ordered, and the salsa macha, when finally provided, was very mediocre at best. I've had a lot better. I'm typically understanding when restaurants make one or two mistakes, but when an entire order is executed this poorly, it's hard to overlook. I understand they were busy, but they seriously need to execute better under those conditions. For a chophouse at this price point, the quality and attention to detail should be far better. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

I think I must be part Square Fish, Mac and Cheese with corn and Strawberry Shortcake because that was my "go-to" for years as a child. Today as an adult, I love the carved roast beef, the fried and baked chicken and the baked fish. And I never miss the Cheese Enchiladas here. They are made Tex-Mex style with lots of meat sauce and yellow cheese. Inside and melting all over the top. So good. Yea things changed a lot after the pandemic, we lost 2 locations. And lots of faves off the menu. Goodbye Friday Gumbo. See ya Sunday King Ranch Chicken. And they still have salads, but no longer do the the big huge bowls of 3 types of greens greet you at the start of the line, with a smiling lady ready to serve them into a bowl for you, with up to 9 different kinds of toppings like crushed boiled eggs. Diced tomatoes and cucumbers. Real bacon bits, croutons, fried onions, grated cheese, grilled chicken or diced Ham, and several homemade salad dressings. All the prepared salads have been reduced to 2-3 options that rotate daily, in little sundae cups. You have to hope you come on pea salad or carrot salad day now. It's not there every day anymore. But the line is still well stocked with old faves like square fish, that super expensive bone in pork chop is nearly $17.50 now. They do still have the Luann platter but it's nearly $10 plus drink, still, not too bad for lunch not in a hurry or fast food joint. I DO love the ambiance, the nostalgia. Gone are the green cloth ones...I like The low hum of multiple conversations. People carrying trays for older people. Laughter of the children as they eat jello.. I had Baked Mayonnaise fish today, with Mac and cheese, spinach and green beans. And a roll. With some tea. $18 and change before tip. It was all delicious, all my food was very warm. My roll even melted my butter. Kids eat FREE HERE on Wednesdays and SATURDAYS!!! One free meal with every adult meal... that's a good deal for a Wednesday night or Saturday afternoon after soccer or football games... is this 5 STAR dining??? No, but it's real food .... The food was absolutely amazing -- everything we ordered was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully prepared. You could tell a lot of care went into both the menu and presentation. What really stood out, though, was how attentive and genuinely kind our server was throughout the evening. Even with how busy El Paso was that weekend, we never felt rushed or overlooked. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and it ended up being one of our favorite dining experiences of the trip. If I return to El Paso in the future, Neighbor Good Kitchen & Bar will definitely be on my list of places to visit again.

Absolutely loved the bar and hanging pots everywhere. Such a clean restaurant and cute vibe. Our waitress was very nice and friendly to us. So no issues there! For drinks I got their berry lemonade which tasted just like lemon juice. I had to request for sugar to be added since it was so sour so beware. My food had came out and to be honest I'm just a little bit disappointed. The rigatoni was cooked but the sauce for it was really not tasty? Like there was almost not a flavor I can taste. Of course there was something but it was very plain and barely even there. It also was not spicy whatsoever. I added grilled chicken too and oh boy was that dry dry DRY. The burrata personally I'm not a fan in general so of course I wouldn't be a fan this time either but they gave a nice little plate full of it. They added some oiled toasted bread and it was way too crispy in my opinion. My partner got the chicken Parmesan and his dish tasted great! Very juicy chicken and cooked all the way. The sauce was perfect too nice and flavorful and great pairing with the chicken. His butter noodles were just like regular butter noodles so not bad. Finally the crème brûlée. Probably the most disappointing dish we ordered. It took repeated stabs to break the sugar glaze on top. Me and my partner were honestly thinking that they added the cream on top to hide how burnt it was actually. Unfortunately because the glaze was so thick and burnt it made the rest of the cream taste have the burnt flavor. It was sad because my partner was looking forward to this desert. Also took wayyy longer to arrive than our entrées. I will say that the waitress was very helpful and she actually covered the crème Brulé. I didn't even ask she just offered, I think she could tell that we didn't enjoy it and I had nicely told her it wasn't what we were expecting so thank you sincerely. Overall I think this is a perfect spot to maybe try drinks and hang with friends. Food was okay, wouldn't try it again in that regard but overall a decent spot here in El Paso if you're looking for something new. Maybe best to ask what's their best dish to serve. Overall thank you.
