If you're buying a New Toyota Sienna, this is the dealership you have to use. Hassle free and great service. My salesman Wayne Tarlton was incredible and the finance team was also easy to deal with and had transparent pricing easy to follow technology that made it super efficient. 5 stars all around.

Unfortunately I've been involved in a major crash that totaled my 2006 Toyota rav4. We went to our go-to Toyota dealership here in Vallejo and our guy Mr Harry Doost! I was very pleased with this service/location! I arrived early & was greeted warmly by a Filipina gal. It was an easy 'check-in process.' (I notice the mileage & report it to them). We paid for the 100,000 extended warranty service * they performed a simple oil change & tire rotation, which was promised in less than an hour. In fact, it took only 35 minutes! My service tech also advised about 60,000 mile service" which would cost nearly $1,000, that is highway robbery (dealer price), so I drop my rating to 4* because of this. Obviously, I will choose another mechanic & which services required ~ more selectively. Furthermore, the waiting area is very nice (large) & tasty complimentary coffee, excellent selections! Recommend them for basic services!

I had a great experience at Toyota Vallejo when I went in for an oil change. Yaz Gonzalez, the service agent who helped me, was exceptional from start to finish. She was very thorough in explaining the pricing, the expected time, and exactly what services were completed, along with anything my car might need in the future. What I really appreciated was her approach. She wasn't pushy at all and never tried to upsell unnecessary services. She was attentive, present, and made me feel like I was her top priority the entire time. That level of customer service is rare these days, and it definitely made the experience smooth and stress-free. I have purchased two vehicles through Toyota Vallejo b/c they have such a great selection, gave us a fair trade in value and I know if I have the need for repairs they will be there for us. Today I brought our 2026 Tundra 1794 in for a cracked windshield and 5000 mile service. As I signed in with Sean at the service counter, I was also greeted by Mike Voss, service manager. Mike coordinated the windshield repairman to do the replacement. In addition to sales and finance, I have worked with Shirley in rentals, Audrey, Chris Lewis, Mike Voss, Sean and Virgil. I've had the vehicle detailed, routine services, windshield replaced, inside leather protectant, purchased seat cushions from their store. This is a group of top notch employees who take pride in getting any of my requests done timely and correctly. Sean explained everything being done so well and made sure I had details to provide for insurance reimbursement. It's truly the most welcoming and professional auto dealership. We reside out of town but Toyota Vallejo has done so much to earn my loyalty. I travel from Vacaville to this dealership in Vallejo because the moment we walk in feel they take a personal interest in my needs. I called the Service Dept and John NeSmith was the service rep that helped me with the details of cost of service, getting the appt set up, etc. I brought the car in for my scheduled appt. A great place to shop for new cars. What impressed me was that the salesperson who sold me my new Tundra gave me his cell number to contact him with any future questions. That actually helped me a lot because a month after the purchase, I got confused by the "new technology" and became stuck with my GPS setting issues. I came to the local Toyota dealership in Concord. They offered to let me leave the brand new truck at the service center for a day or two to check the "problem." I was disappointed and immediately called Will ,the guy from Toyota Vallejo. He said, "Please stop by at any time; I'll help you." Ironically it took him about five minutes to help me with the new GPS/audio technology for my one month old Tundra. Ten minutes later, I was driving home happy again. I believe his last name is Snow... Will Snow. If anyone wants a salesperson who genuinely cares, ask for him. read more

It was a long day but accomplished our main goal. The staff at Toyota Vallejo were very welcoming and friendly. The front line agent I believe her name was Emma was very nice and respectful to direct us to the sales Manager who was Bong Benitez. Bong was above and beyond of what he does. He took his time listening to our concerns and was able to make us a good deal. He was very knowledgeable and was very warm welcoming, very honest of his word of the pros n cons. He didn't rush just to make a sell but made sure that we got the car that we wanted at the same time we agree on the rates and terms. We got the truck we wanted and more importantly was able to add my husband as co-buyer which was our main goal. read more

Oct 2024 review - I was looking to trade in my 2015 Camry SE for the new 2025 Camry XSE and Andrew and his team were able to find me the specific packages and spec I was looking for! Just bought a Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid here yesterday! Worked w Huicho who kept in touch w me via text as to when the car of my dreams would arrive. He kept me well-informed, set up an appointment w me right away, let me test drive the car on the freeway, demonstrated all the features of it, and let me take my time (this being my very first experience purchasing a brand new car!). The car is everything I wanted and more. The whole process of purchasing to my surprise was easy and only took ~2.5 hrs overall. Heads up that you'll need proof of auto insurance to drive the vehicle off the lot. Also, these Toyota cars sell themselves, so this Toyota dealer doesn't give discounts. You can make a $500 refundable deposit w credit application though if your car of choice becomes available, and they can tag it as yours before the car arrives to their store. read more

Purchased a car there, had a good experience buying. Then, I had a complementary oil change done there. It took 2 hours. I should have checked the work immediately, but months afterwards I noticed one screw holding my engine cover on is missing. A cosmetic issue, but annoying. The main concerning issue is upon checking the dip stick, the oil level was WAY under normal level. I added 1 quart of engine oil and I got the level to barely minimum. I highly doubt my car burns through that much engine oil as it never has. And no, no oil leaks observed. I believe they didn't put enough oil in my engine, and putting it at risk. Can't seem to reach any one at service yet, left a msg. Let's see how they follow-up. read more

Because the process was so easy, nothing like what people say about being at a dealer for hours, haggling, upselling, finance, etc. We put a deposit and car arrived 2.5 weeks later. When the car arrived, we drove over the next day, he had the paperwork ready and gave us the rundown on everything we signed. We finished in probably 15minutes. Went to finance to give our check for the car and we were out. I highly recommend Garen if you don't want to deal with salesmen upselling you and wasting your time. I was asking the financial guy why their dealership had not signed up for the IRS tax credit program that would allow their used car purchasers to receive up to $4000 in tax credit rebate money. A very reasonable question. He became defensive and rude and said in a very snarky manner "well why didn't you buy it from somewhere else that does have it." A person has a right to ask questions when they're about to spend $16,000. I really liked the car and was ready to purchase it even without the rebate. But no way after being spoken to like that. read more

Today, I went in to get my car service for an oil change and I asked for a small discount which they easily honored. However, my dad told me there was a summer special so when I went back to pick up, I had asked about it. The service advisor said, the service was already complete and coupons need to be shown up front. The tone of this conversation was a "tough luck" vibe. I asked he couldn't even let me know what specials are available and he said there's too many coupons to be aware of. I'm so triggered by the fact that I'm a loyal customer and I believe service advisors are aware of these specials to pass along. To have the excuse and say there's too many coupons to be aware of is complete BS when you know you have many services in a day. Despite the 10% discount, I paid more than the special price which also included more services. I can't believe what this world has come to. This location is after every penny especially when they just put up the sign about coupons needing to be presented when the service order is placed.

My Toyota Sienna of 16 years & 301K miles had a 'crisis' while I was enroute from Sacramento (home) to Santa Rosa (dog agility trial) on Fri Jan 6th. I had 6 dogs on board and a camper trailer in tow. The Sienna failed within a mile of Toyota Vallejo, so I went there for help. The Service team had me drop my trailer in the lot and got my Sienna in for diagnostics right away. They could access all my historical maintenance records at my close-to-home Toyota dealership, so they could narrow down what might be my Sienna's current problem. As it turned out, the issue with my Sienna was more costly to repair than I was prepared to spend on a vehicle of its age and mileage. I asked my Service Advisor, Jose Villasenor (awesome!), for phone numbers for the major car rental agencies so I could call around to try to find a substitute tow vehicle to get my trailer & dogs either the rest of the way to the dog trial or back home again. None were willing to rent for the purpose of towing a trailer and/or transporting dogs. Knowing for some time that I'd be needing a new(er) car soon, I already knew what I'd want to buy when the time came. I wasn't exactly prepared for the time to be in this moment on this day, but life happens. So I asked Jose if by any chance they might have on their lot a gently used, light colored Highlander with a tow package for me to consider for purchase. Incredibly, they did! Jose introduced me to Ricky Mellomida/Sales. Ricky took me for the test drive and was very efficient in drawing up the paperwork for the purchase process. In that test drive he quickly reviewed various features of the car with me and he was candid about not knowing what the unit mounted under the dash near my left knee was (the brake controller for the trailer wiring harness - I knew what it was.) Salesman sincerity - no BS. Fabulous! He was able to get the diagnostic expense for my Sienna waived for me, and he provided helpful insight for my decision of Trade or Not for the Sienna as well. I elected to make other disposition arrangements for my Sienna. Ricky arranged for me to be able to leave my disabled Sienna on Toyota Vallejo property at no cost to me while I made those other arrangements (thank you!). Ricky introduced me to Jill Gorden/Finance. Jill set me up in a no penalty pre-pay loan (my request), and reviewed the warranty coverage on my Toyota Certified Used Highlander, and stepped me through my options for additional warranties I might wish to consider. We finalized the deal and I took delivery of my new vehicle. Ricky helped me to transfer all 6 dog crates and whatever else I'd need from my Sienna for the immediate future. He then parked my Sienna for me while I hitched up my trailer to my new car. And just like that I was back on the road . . . amazing! When I returned to Toyota Vallejo the next Mon to retrieve the rest of my belongings from my Sienna and advise them of my arrangements to donate my vehicle, they (each of them!) asked me if I had continued on to the agility trial, and if so, how did my dogs do? They had actually been listening with intent to hear when they were helping me on that fateful Friday! Yes, they were selling me a car, but they were truly tuned in to me as a human being, too. How refreshing! I arranged for my Sienna to be picked up for donation that Thursday, and while I was present again at Toyota Vallejo for that, Jill/Finance notified me that she was able to get me an even lower interest rate on my loan, so if I could spare a couple of minutes she'd like to re-do that part of my paperwork. WHAT?! These Toyota Vallejo folks were STILL working on my behalf even AFTER they completed the sale of the vehicle to me. Truly exemplary customer service! I wish I lived closer to this Toyota dealership so I could do all my maintenance here as well. I will definitely recommend this dealership to anyone I know who is interested in purchasing a Toyota. read more

TLDR; ASK FOR GAREN (SALES) & LESLIE FROM FINANCE! I visited Toyota Vallejo during the holiday season to buy my mom her retirement car, and I am so grateful that we worked with Garen. He made the entire experience easy, respectful, and stress-free for both of us. We were exploring different RAV4 trims, and Garen was incredibly patient while walking my mom through all the features she cared about. She is elderly and I was helping translate into Spanish, and he was culturally aware, kind, and very understanding throughout the whole process. He took the time to listen to her needs, especially regarding safety features and comfort since she drives her grandchildren often. The car my mom wanted was not available at the Vallejo location, but Garen put in a lot of work to secure the exact one from another dealership. He kept us updated the entire time and was extremely communicative. He gave us multiple ways to reach him, responded quickly, and always made sure we understood what was happening next. When the car finally arrived, he spent a great amount of time going over every button, feature, and safety function. He made sure my mom felt confident and comfortable before driving away. He was patient, knowledgeable, and never made us feel rushed. We traveled from far away and sometimes arrived early, and he always made sure we were taken care of. He showed us where everything was in the dealership and made the whole environment feel welcoming. At no point did we feel pressured or pushed into anything. He truly focused on what was best for my mom. Garen went above and beyond in every part of this experience. His interpersonal skills, cultural understanding, and genuine care for his customers really stand out. Toyota Vallejo is lucky to have him, and I highly recommend asking for Garen if you are looking for a car. I also want to give a huge shoutout to Leslie in the finance department. She was absolutely wonderful to work with. She went through every single step of the financing process in a clear and patient way. The way she broke down each detail made everything incredibly easy to understand. She was professional, warm, and very supportive, which made the last part of the process smooth and stress-free. Here's my story....I went through my credit union to finance my new car which also means my credit union acts as my broker in finding the car I was seeking. Consequently, my first contact with Toyota Vallejo was with Jason who called me to verify my order on July 30, 2013. Two big items were wrong...the color of the car and the inclusion of the remote engine starter accessory which I did not want. I offered to send an email of my correct order and he said he already had it. We then arranged to meet the next week on Tuesday, August 6 at my credit union to complete the paperwork and exchange vehicles since I was trading in my car. One hour before our scheduled meeting at the credit union Amir called and said the car would not be ready until 7 or 8 pm that night. Since we were to sign contracts at the credit union that night was not an option. So we arranged to meet on Wednesday, August 7. We did meet on Wednesday and we went through the contract and when I noticed the word lojack for $99 I asked Amir what that was and was it really a part of my car. Amir called the dealership and he was told that I did have lojack and it was a police tracking device. While it was not something I ordered, I liked the idea of it and signed the contract. Later that day, the dealership called me and told me I didn't have lojack. I was pretty frustrated with this dealership by this time... The next day, Jill from the Toyota Finance Dept. calls me and believing me to be a Christian woman says to me that she also is a christian woman and hopes that I'm "not trying to get something for nothing" meaning I need to sign a new contract that takes out the lojack accessory. I then drive to Vallejo and she says "I can't let you leave until you sign this new contract". I left and called and told her I'd be back the next day. The next day, I called and spoke with the General Manager Dave Johnston and made an appointment to meet with him. Later that day I met with him and expressed all my frustations with this whole experience. In the end, he said he appreciated my tone of voice in expressing my ordeal AND that after speaking with his own people, he said he appreciated that I wasn't lying and that my story and his employees' story matched. Consequently, he was going to honor the contract and give me the lojack accessory. However, in feeling patronized, insulted and manipulated I asked "does it have to be done here?" I felt very distrustful at this point. This is not a dealership that I would ever deal with again. Toyota of Vallejo Service department clearly earned Five stars! Short story: About a week ago I made a phone call to their service department and was kindly greeted by their Service Adviser Nathan, someone who actually took time to listen to my problem and able quickly help me to figure out the best possible schedule. A few days later he personally contacted me over the phone to confirm scheduled appointment and mentioned ahead that service may need to keep my vehicle overnight. It was very kind to hear this in advance, so I told him I will be coming with my two toddlers and requested to be processed as quickly as possible. So, I arrived on Tuesday morning to drop off my vehicle and was again promptly greeted by Nathan. The paperwork process went effortlessly and quick. I would say, it took us literally less then five minutes to complete the actual paperwork. Knowing and seeing my situation, I had both my children with me, Nathan offered me a free rental loaner, which was undoubtedly a First class gesture. After another few minutes of signing the loaner agreement we were on our way driving back home. At the end of the day, Nathan contacted me again and stated that all warranty repairs were completed and I can come back either on the same day (their cashier department staying conveniently open till 7:30PM), or the next day. Well, I decided to drive to Vallejo the same day and again, the process of exchanging keys and loaner was smooth and quick -- Cashier was friendly and helpful. I rarely ever give reviews and this is only my second time where I felt compelled to acknowledge a truly exceptional experience working with an amazing professional in George M. (the Internet Manager at Toyota Vallejo). My family and I were originally planning to go to another dealership for a specific Camry we were interested in. The drive would have been over 40 miles from Vallejo. But we saw some really horrible reviews on them last night on BBB and other sites. This left me scrambling to find the right car with othe dealerships (as we been searching and researching and wanted to use every spare time off to find the right car for the right price). I quickly sent requests out for appointments and checked on availability of these options to Toyota Vallejo, Concord, Walnut Creek and Napa. From the time we pulled up to Toyota Vallejo, George's greeting to my dad, sister and I was warm and friendly. We did our homework and knew exactly what we wanted and shared this with George (given that we did not have time to update him previously). He was extremely attentive and we went through a seamless process of test driving, inspecting the car and then my least favorite part--negotiations. Well, let me tell you that George is the person to go to because he made the negotiating part such an easy and pain free process. I cannot begin to tell you how quickly we were able to get our new Camry for such a great price. Then we met with the Finance Manager, Leslie and again another breezy process where there were no haggling back and forth, no gimmicks and no pressures with add ons. My family and I want to say that George you were just truly amazing to work with and we really hope you will be there when we purchase our next car. You have such a real talent in working with the public!!! You never once made us feel any pressure. It was really a blessing to meet and work with your today!!! Toyota Vallejo's service department failed to adequately address my brake issues, despite multiple visits and a significant investment in servicing my vehicle. I purchased my 4Runner from them on January 1st, 2023, and initially had no problems. However, in May, I began experiencing brake chatter and a shaky steering wheel when braking. After an inspection, they replaced my front brakes for $364.95.Four months later, despite the recent brake replacement, I started hearing high-pitched squeaking. Toyota Vallejo claimed they couldn't replicate the noise and attributed it to the style of brakes and brake dust buildup. However, the obviousness of the squeaking and the lack of noise associated with braking raised doubts about their explanation. Despite my request to check for brake dust, they assured me the brakes were fine. During subsequent visits for service, including the 60,000-mile service, I reiterated my brake concerns, but they failed to take action or even document the issue. This service cost me $497.47, yet my main concern remained unaddressed. Frustrated, I sought assistance from Toyota Napa, where they identified aftermarket front shims as the cause of the squeaking and brake pulsation. Toyota Vallejo's failure to notice or address these aftermarket shims earlier is concerning. Their oversight and lack of attention to detail, especially considering my loyalty as a customer and the money spent on service, is disappointing. Addressing such issues promptly and thoroughly should be a priority for any service department. After discussing the entire issue with the service manager, Mike Ross, he dismissed the significance of the aftermarket shims, suggesting they weren't the root cause of the problem. I'm extremely frustrated with the service department and management at Toyota Vallejo. It's deeply disappointing to see them disregard fair treatment and respect simply because of my gender. As a loyal customer of over 10 years, this treatment is not only disrespectful but also calls into question the integrity of the services provided to me in the past. It's disheartening to think that my trust in them may have been misplaced. I will never return to Totoya Vallejo again. read more

Our experience at Vallejo Toyota was easy, quick and painless from start to finish. We specifically chose Vallejo Toyota at the encouragement of family (my in-laws purchased 2 vehicles here in the past & told us Toyota Vallejo offered the best prices & purchasing experience); our last vehicle was purchased at a different dealership where we felt a bit misled after signing & we really didn't want to walk away with a similarly ehh feeling. Thanks to George we were not disappointed - he explained everything every step of the way & he made the experience memorable & enjoyable .. which is pretty impressive since purchasing a vehicle normally isn't on anyone's Top 5 Enjoyable Things To Do List! I reached out to the dealership with questions & he quickly replied - he got back to me via email, phone & text really quickly & provided clear & concise information about the vehicle before we even showed up. It spoke volumes to us that he was willing to take the time to answer all our questions without any guarantee of a sale since we live an hour away. We decided to take the drive (we've got several Toyota dealerships here in Sonoma County that didn't impress us or disappointed us). We arrived, he met us, we did the test drive, he went over cost with us (started with a better price than any other dealership would've offered us out the door) & then got us approved & introduced us to the fabulously personable Rey in finance (a really great fella too! who took the time to explain everything to us but not too much time to explain it if that makes sense). We did this with a newborn - which would be unthinkable at most dealerships. We were able to drive home in this beautiful 2019 Highlander LE with AWD. The features were clearly showcased & explained in detail. We actually learned about capabilities our RAV4 has - that we regrettably purchased at a different dealership - because George explained everything to us whereas the other dude at the other dealership sent us on our way with no explanation of what our RAV4 is capable of doing. I would definitely recommend Toyota Vallejo, but in particular I would highly recommend two people who were helpful to me, my pregnant wife, and my growing family in investing in a vehicle: Luis from sales & Andrew from finance. The first is the salesman Luis. He did not waste our time, and I do not think he will waste yours! We were looking at several dealers and eventually settled with Toyota Vallejo mainly because of Luis. Normally, with salesmen I am apprehensive, but when Luis started asking my wife and me about our lifestyle choices (commute, gas costs, long-term needs, children, etc.), comparing what we need, and narrowing our choices of vehicles, I sensed that he was looking out for my family needs. It wasn't just to get me to sign off on any vehicle. The negotiation part, I would describe as very reasonable. I felt like a human being with him, not number. We met twice. Come to think of it, of all car salesmen I have ever encountered, Luis stands out. GO TO LUIS! He will take care of you. After you talk with Luis, talk with Andrew the finance manager. Andrew told our salesman, Luis, that "he had some ideas". I would definitely describe Andrew as a thinker and investor. If you want long-term planning before you sign anything, GO TO ANDREW! He knows the numbers and how to crunch them well so that they work for both the buyer and seller. I felt like there was a win-win scenario with the finance office. With other car finance officers I have worked with in the past, I always felt uneasy, but not with Andrew. Andrew started as a detailer at Toyota and worked his way up into finance which gave me greater confidence in what he was telling me. Originally, we were going to go with another vehicle, but after crunching the numbers, Andrew convinced us with much transparency that we should purchase a more durable vehicle. He will think outside the box to make whatever situation in your life needs to match with your car needs. It's been a few weeks with my vehicle from Toyota Vallejo, and I am SO happy with it. I have been dealing with RICKY now on a used nissan xterra purchase! I saw it when it was listed overnight and called immediately when VALLEJO TOYOTA opened the next morning! The price on the vehicle was good so I called and said I would not try to negotiate or haggle and gladly pay what they were asking! RICKY has been helping me make my dream vehicle purchase come true! A simple out of state buyer is NO PROBLEM for Ricky and Vallejo Toyota! I have looked for this vehicle for over a year and a half! I have already got my financing approval from my bank and will finalize my deal and update my review soon!!! Ricky has been outstanding!! He has communicated with me every step of the way and has sent me the pics of the vehicle as soon as it came back from the detail shop!! I have been considering and praying about this purchase for a long time and it is amazing to see things come together! I have a cousin who is a car salesman in Ohio with over 10 years experience and I have a step father was a car salesmen in Florida for almost 10 years. I am well aware of the shady things some salespeople do. I have experienced NONE of that here with Vallejo Toyota and Ricky. I am so excited and grateful that God led me to this dealership and Ricky for my purchase! UPDATE SOON! UPDATED- GOT THE VEHICLE- BEAUTIFUL. There was a spot on the hood where the paint was messed up, at the crease near the windshield wipers. It was flaked off clear down to the metal. It was a very strange spot that im guessing was from a water sitting on this spot and being cooked on the 8 year old black paint by the California sun? It was obviously not fresh. Regardless, it should have been properly photographed and shown in the vehicle sale listing. I believe my salesman did not see it because he was not very tall. I do believe that it was not included in the listing photos intentionally. At the very minimum the photographer/ detailer/ reconditioner neglected to see and or document it. Ok. I will make this short and sweet because quite frankly I don't have the time or the patience to tell my full story. I had a nightmare of an experience at Team Chevrolet in Vallejo (now DGDG). In 2015, they sold me a used 2015 Chevy Cruze (told me it was NEW when I bought it and I didn't learn it was USED until I was signing final paperwork). In the 2 years that I had the car, the heater core needed to be replaced, temperature housing system replaced, secondary air injections system replaced, several engine cylinders replaced, catalytic converter replaced, and more... The dealership took absolutely no responsibility or accountability for selling me a lemon. 3 months ago I filed a claim directly with General Motors and after a grueling 3 month process, GM finally declared the vehicle a lemon and repurchased it. There is so much more to this story and the absolutely horrific service at Team (or, DGDG, whatever they call themselves these days) but I am not here to talk about them. I am here to talk about Toyota... What else can I say other than Toyota Vallejo delivered the best customer service I have ever received at a car dealership. I honestly did not know that buying a vehicle is supposed to be an enjoyable experience until I came to Toyota Vallejo. I was assisted by George and Rey who far exceeded any expectations I had. After what I experienced at Team, my bar was set pretty low. I was in and out in less than 4 hours with my brand spanking new 2018 Rav 4. No grueling back and forth. No grimy sales tactics. The experience was honest and transparent. I was nervous jumping on the Toyota bandwagon after being a Chevy girl my entire life - But, if being a Chevy owner means getting lied to, treated poorly, and being stuck in unreliable vehicles... Then a Toyota girl I shall become. After an absolutely awful car-buying experience at the Mazda dealership in Concord, I decided to purchase my first vehicle from Toyota Vallejo instead. After test driving a Prius C and a Corolla, I let Bob Bible know I was interested in the Corolla and what my price point was. He helped me find the right type of Corolla for my budget. I never felt pressured into buying something I could not afford. Bob was great. I don't think I could have asked for a friendlier or more knowledgable salesman. Once our shuttle brought my friend and I back to the dealership, he offered us bottles of water and made sure we knew where all of the amenities were--and this was after getting to test drive the car I knew I was taking home with me. Free bottles of water are no joke. Bob was looking out for our hydration and vehicle purchasing needs. He wasted no time seating us and setting things in order. He even explained how the process was going to work so I knew what to expect at each step. This guy needs to be commended for his patience as I dealt with my insurance company over the phone, doing things I should have done days before. He has a great sense of humor that set me at ease and made the entire experience as pleasant as it could possibly have been. While we waited for the financial paperwork to be drawn up, Bob helped me become familiar with the controls and features of my new Corolla. If you ever need an example of great customer service, Bob Bible is it. I mean, he even helped me set up the Bluetooth with my phone and helped me make a phone call so I could see how it worked (if you are wondering: it works amazingly). After we set things up, we went inside to meet the very nice Rey Vergara and to sign the necessary paperwork. When all was said and done, I drove home in a fantastic new car. I'm recommending this dealership and Bob Bible in particular to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle. This is what the car-buying experience should be. read more

To start, as a disabled veteran; feeling at ease, making sure I have a pleasant experience, quality honest customer service, and getting a good to great deal is paramount to me as I'm sure it is to others when frequenting any business they plan to spend their hard earned money with. Buying a car for me with the assistance of Jo Hopkins at Toyota Vallejo was nothing but a delight from start to finish. He was: knowledgeable about all cars on the lot I had in question, professional but relaxed like your talking to someone you would talk to on a day to day basis with, efficient and helped me get in and out the door with a brand new car that I wanted. If you want quality professional customer service without the creepy salesman vibes or issues later down the road it would behoove you go see Jo Hopkins at Toyota Vallejo. Don't take my word for it just because I'm a disabled vet, go and ask for him personally at Toyota Vallejo and I would be surprised and astonished if his work ethic doesn't have you coming back as a repeat customer that you would send and refer your loved ones to for their first car or 19th car. My wife and I had been discussing trading in our 2006 Prius for a new vehicle. We happened to be looking in the showroom and heard Brent giving another prospective purchaser information about the new Prius Prime. While my wife was looking around, I was listening to what Brent was saying. He sounded very knowledgeable. When he was finished with this customer, he introduced himself to me and my wife. We were both impressed by his knowledge of the different models of the new plug in Pruis Prime. When Brent asked if we would like to test drive the Prius Prime Advanced, both my wife and I jumped at the opportunity. After the test drive, we told Brent that we would have to discuss it amongst ourselves and read up on this vehicle before we can make a decision. Brent was very patient with us and gave us a brochure and said that if we had any questions to stop back by or give him a call. After reading the brochure and calling him about some of the other questions we had, we were back the next day ready to purchase our new Prius Prime Advanced. The process with Brent was one of the best experiences we had purchasing a new vehicle. While we were doing the paperwork, Brent made sure our vehicle was prepped and ready when we were finished. He spent all the time we needed to go over the features of the vehicle and how things worked, many high tech features that our old Prius did not have. He was very knowledgeable and extremely patient with us. He knew that information overload was occurring so he said that if we needed to go over anything again or if we had other questions to stop back by any time or give him a call. We did both over the next week. Our purchasing experience with Brent was so positive and enjoyable that when we're ready to replace our Avalon, we will be back looking for Brent. This is my first Yelp review and I feel that is very warranted and informative for those who, like me, dread shopping to buy a new vehicle. So here goes! With a new addition to the family arriving soon, I was in the market for a car. The car I wanted was a new or used Toyota Sequoia. It had been 12 years since I bought my first brand new car and I DREADED going to a dealership that was going to try and sell me the most expensive and overpriced vehicle on their lot. I spoke with a friend who suggested that I contact Toyota Vallejo. I contacted Toyota Vallejo and was connected with Terry. While speaking to Terry on the phone, I told him what I was looking for and how much I wanted to spend. Fortunately, the dealership had multiple Toyota Sequoia's to choose from. So, I met with Terry at Toyota Vallejo and I was immediatly greeted and treated with respect. Terry, with the assistance of Internet Manager Erin, and Sales Manager Dave, were able to help me buy a brand new 2014 Toyota Sequoia. I checked the vehicle over and I was very pleased with the exterior; however, I wanted leather seats and the Toyota had cloth seats. I told Terry what I wanted and he said, "That can be changed". I chose my leather color and the seats were replaced within a week and in time for me to pick up my car before the baby was born. Terry took the time to review the interior specs of the vehicle to include navigation, bluetooth, radio, 4WD button, sunroof, etc. Terry made sure I was comfortable with my new car before driving it off the lot. I want to send a very very special THANK YOU to Terry and his team for treating me with respect and LISTENING to what I wanted and not what they wanted to sell me. This is only my 2nd Yelp review--did it for my mortgage lender--and now for Terry Stafford at Toyota Vallejo. I've been looking for a Sienna for a month now--finally realized I needed a family car and decided if I was going to get a minivan, I better do it in style! In addition to going to stem other dealerships, two times I went to my local dealership: Richmond Toyota but both times they did not seem to treat me as a serious buyer. Little did they know I was set on buying a new car, that day! So we go to Toyota Vallejo: Terry walks out with a friendly smile and we chit chat. The #1 thing that I liked about Terry was the way he treated my mom. He respected her opinons, what she had to say, and her negotiating skills. He knew that she had done her research. He got her jokes and made his own as well. He is a great people-person. I definitely felt comfortable with him. He showed us the car that I came for. I loved it and knew that it was the one! We test-drove and went back inside to talk numbers. I had their complimentary Starbucks hot chocolate and Terry bought my mom a Coke. It's the small things, right! Terry must have gotten up ten times to talk to his manager and we were probably there for 1.5 hours negotiating prices to make it work. He allowed us to talk in private, for me to call my husband, and he talked me through my concerns. I know it was the best deal and honestly I believe whole-heartedly Terry deserved his end because he worked hard! He gave us great tips as well and for that I deeply appreciate it. Terry Stafford is awesome. I have the family minivan (two days old), my 3 year old and baby fit nicely, it's a beautiful car. My lease ended on a Toyota Camry, so I return it a few months ago. I believe it's a great car and I was totally satisfied. I wanted to lease the Camry again. A friend recommended Vallejo Toyota and told me to ask for Jason Sangmaster. So I called him directly and let him know what I needed. He called back promptly letting me know the car was on the lot. He was pretty straight to the point and super nice, so I told him I'd be in the next day. The dealership was clean with a nice layout, everyone seemed to be happy, and Jason was ready for me once I walked in the door. We went for a quick test drive since I pretty much knew what I was getting except for the Bluetooth, which I love. We were able to settle on a lease agreement that I was comfortable with and helped me make the paperwork move quickly, explaining things along the way. He went over everything so I was aware of the terms of the lease. He was super friendly and down-to-earth. Then, I was directed to Rey Vergara's office, who helped me through the finance end of it. He was great too. He explained everything and offered GAP, etc. with no pressure. Soon after, Jason took me to my new car and looked it over together. It was clean, had a full tank of gas and was ready to drive off the lot. I had my children with me so I was hoping things would not take too long. I was on the road with my new car in less than two hours - so sweet!! Buying/leasing a car can be stressful but it really was such a nice experience. I'll be going back after my lease is up again. It's me again. So my car underwent major repairs starting in October. Since i recieved my car back in February my car has been in the shot every week. The last two visits I called the service manager Mike directly and he intentionally does not call me back. When i went to take the at back today for a reoccurring issue every week of oil leaking i was told i couldn't recieve a rental car until it was confirmed something was actually really wrong with the car as if i would lie and try to scam them for a rental. None did not address me directly and they caused me a single mom of four children to have to know a work shift without pay. every time the car has been in the shop there has been no real solution to my problems sometimes after weeks. I'm loosing faith in the mechanics. At first it seemed the manager was supportive and had empathy but now i'm feeling as if he is just annoyed and doesn't even have the time to adress me directly when this is a major on going issue. Would not recommend this shop for any major repair issues. Then o was told that maybe the pile just wasn't filled up to the right level which is concerning if i just had the water pump replaced last week and i've been complaining about an oil leak every week since february why wasn't oil replaced, Really think buying toyota was the worst decision of my life or maybe this service department for toyota vallejo is the problem. Even though i showed them the picture i was somehow made to feel like im just crazy and that im trying to scam for a rental. read more

On June 17, 2014, I was blessed to be able to purchase a 2010, Kia Soul at the Toyota dealership in Vallejo, CA. I had the pleasure of meeting Harry Doost, a pleasant and knowledgeable salesman who allowed me to take the car for a drive. He answered all my questions without pressure, giving me much needed time to process the decision of moving forward with the deal. Once we decided to take the next step, Harry's ability to complete the task was with ease and comfort. I never felt stressed while making a large purchase. The transaction was completed with true professionalism and care. After completing the paperwork and heading back to the vehicle, Harry continued to show me additional features that came with my new car. We noticed the radio did not work but Harry quickly had it corrected which turned out to be a fuse. Also noted was a missing owner's manual which he ordered promptly. Upon completion of the deal, it was determined that the back tires were worn and thanks to his Used Car Sales Manager - Tim Gaither he resolved it immediately. They ordered the tires and the following day they were installed. Another transaction was completed with ease. I would like to also acknowledge other staff members I came into contact with; Car Parts Manager - Ryan Vas, mechanics and front office staff who displayed professionalism and courtesy to me. I would recommend Harry to anybody looking for a vehicle, he will take the extra step to be sure you are satisfied with your time spent on their car lot. read more

Just bought a 2021 Corolla SE from Madison Messer @ Toyota Vallejo. I've owned a number of cars and this was probably the smoothest car purchased I've had so far. With the pandemic, most of the negotiating was done online. Madison was very responsive via email and text, and was able to answer all of questions promptly so that I could make my decision. I obtained quotes from other nearby dealerships, but Madison's quote was significantly lower than the others, so I am happy with the price I paid. When I went in to actually purchase the vehicle, I was able to test drive it alone, so I felt safe that I didn't have to try to socially distance inside the vehicle. Inside the dealership, I felt comfortable with the safety precautions they've put into place to keep the employees and customers safe (masks, sanitizer, plexiglass partitions). Madison was very professional, but also so pleasant to work with. She handled the paperwork quickly and efficiently. She completed all paperwork so that my husband didn't have to enter the dealership until he actually had to sign the documents. Leslie in Finance was equally efficient and very pleasant to work with. We had nice conversation while signing the documents, and never felt pressured when being offered the maintenance options. Much appreciated! This is the third vehicle we have purchased from Toyota Vallejo, and most likely not the last. Madison and Leslie, Thank you for the wonderful experience. Keep up the good work! read more

I just bought my 4th RAV4 at Vallejo Toyota this week. I first contacted George Mantaragas, the head of their Internet Sales Department. After telling him on-line what I was looking for, he called and later emailed me a quote and asked if I would like an appointment to do a test drive. I went down the next day and loved the new RAV4! It was quite a step up from my 2007! I really had no intention of buying that day and actually had an appointment to test drive a Subaru Forester the next day. I thought I should at least check out the competition. But George made such a good case for the RAV4 and he was not at all high pressure! I really wanted red but they did not have it in stock. George was able to get it from a nearby dealer that evening and it had everything on it I wanted, so I bought the car that day. George went above and beyond to make sure I was a satisfied customer, even coming in the next day on his day off when I picked up the car. He wanted to go over all the car details again with me and hook up my iPhone to the Bluetooth. He gave me his cell phone number and said several times to call him anytime if I had questions about my new car. In the past, I have always hated car shopping and the high pressure sales tactics that a lot of sales personnel use. George made this a very positive and pleasant experience with his enthusiasm and positive nature. I highly recommend Vallejo Toyota and especially recommend George Mantaragas! And I LOVE my new RAV4! read more
