Town Fair Tire 03/19/2012 John at The Plymouth Ma 02360 store is an exceptional sales person. My price with mounting and balancing was $30 cheaper than BJs Wholesale club pricing "with" tax! Another happy customer that will be returning in the near future. Commonly in this industry you can find the sales people knowledgeable however they often lack in the people skills department. Not in this case, put John on the fast track. read more

Sam is great. I changed my tires 3 months ago and woke up with a flat this morning. The nail unfortunately was on the side wall. Town fair tire replaced it for a minimal fee. Free WiFi and coffee as well. Great service. Would recommend to everyone. read more

Prices are on point. Service coordination is lacking though. I called to check on the status of my car and was told it was done. I was like I'm was someone going to call and let me know? Guy was like, yeah, I'm not sure why they didnt. Fifteen minutes later I get an automated text saying that my car isn't ready so I call. Nope. Car is still ready. Why did I get a text then? "I couldn't tell ya." read more

The only reason that I went to Town Fair Tire yesterday was because I had a great experience a few weeks earlier when I purchased and had installed two front tires on my work vehicle. Eddie at the front desk was great, very helpful and kept me informed of my vehicle's progress while I was there the last time. Before I left that day I asked Eddie to provide me with a quote for the remaining 4 rear tires on this same work truck. Eddie gave me a written estimate, which i felt was very fair so I set up an appointment to purchase/install 4 new rear tires on my truck. When I arrived for my appointment yesterday, I was greeted by Eddie immediately upon arrival. They took my truck in for service at 11:30, which was my scheduled time and I waited on site. After waiting three (3) hours I was told that my truck was finally ready!! When I went out to my truck I noticed that the covers which cover the rear wheel hubs were both missing! I went back in to see Eddie because I assumed that the service techs simply forgot to put them back on. Eddie went back to the service dept. to retrieve them and came back out empty handed. The service reps told him that they were all rotted and had problems with them when working on my vehicle. This is impossible, because these covers are made of plastic! I knew this was a blatant lie so I asked Eddie if I could have my hub covers returned to me. Eddie went back in and checked again, then brought them out to me. I could see that they were all cracked and damaged. The service guys told him that they went in this way but I could see clearly that they had been damaged while the truck was at Town Fair today. They look like they had been hit with a hammer, as they were all dinged up and clearly cracked! I am extremely disappointed as these people lied to me (not once, but twice) just to cover their actions. Eddie apologized to me but did not offer to rectify this situation. Now, after spending over $1,500 for tires, I must go out and purchase two new hub covers to protect the hubs on my rear wheels. I originally had considered bringing in my other 3 vehicles to Town Fair for tires, but will not be doing so at any time in the near future, nor would I recommend this establishment to any of my colleagues. read more

4 new tires and they messed up the alignment so badly it couldn't be driven and then they couldn't correct it. Went to a proper garage who fixed it easily but of course cost an extra $100 read more

Called but accidentally ended up speaking to a sales rep in NH named Amanda who, instead of transferring me, chose to help me pick the appropriate tires for my car and was able to schedule me in Everett within a week. Coincidentally, right after my tire change and alignment in Everett, my car started acting up and Joel did not hesitate to offer to check the car out to ensure it was not related to the work they did on my car. Luckily, it turns out that the issue was minor and NOT tire related or alignment related. Nonetheless, it feels good to know that Joel and team went above and beyond for me. I would absolutely recommend Town Fair Tire if you are looking for exceptional customer service and affordability. read more

My experience was ruined at the bringing due to phone customer service. When we called to get a quote for you tires, the quote sounded great but unfortunately the they didn't tell us that we were speaking to a main line and not a specific location and sent our tires to a different state. So Ofcorse when we went in for our appointment they had to reschedule due to not have our tires. However the gentlemen there were very nice and treated us very well. Also my car is running smoothly so that makes me happy! read more

I came in because my valve was pouring air out. I was in a dreadful predicament. I didn't know if Town Fair does these type of things and I live all the way in the cape and ERIC at this location made it seem like I was right at home and that I had nothing to worry about. Everything was swift, fast, and easy and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this location and specifically the employee ERIC whom made the experience a breeze. 5 STAR read more

I went to the Town fair tire in Everett to get one new tire. The guy gave me two options: 4 brand new tires $873 or 4 used tires $573. I understand 2 but 4 tires? He said if I didn't believe that I had to get all four at the same time since it was a 4WD to read the car manual. I ended up paying for 4 used tires because I don't know about you but I don't have $900 to hand out especially when I was only planning on buying 1. Luckily I had to make an appointment to put them on the next day because when I went home I DID read the owners manual and it said I should change 2 at a time if I needed a new tire.. so I was cheated out of almost $600.. I went back the next day for my scheduled appointment and waited in line for 45 minutes just to be told to wait longer, just for a refund. The workers kept leaving the desk and ignoring people in line. After being there for an hour despite having an appointment the guy gave me my money back and was incredibly passive aggressive and very intimidating. The service is horrible and the workers are very rude and look to make money off of young women who don't have a lot of knowledge in cars. I will be buying my two tires elsewhere read more

I am giving this place a five-star thanks to JOEL, I came in for tire replacement . He gave me a great deal on the tire & Helped me from beginning to the end of the process! I really hate to give bad reviews but Town Fair Tire in Everett really deserves it. I've been holding off on this one for a while... I called Town Fair after looking online and finding the tires I wanted on their website The person I spoke with on the phone said their were four tires left and that he could reserve them for me. I though that was great and made an appointment to get them installed the next day. The fun started when I got there. The salesperson told me that the tires they had reserved for me were sold that morning and they were out of stock. Apparently the concept of reserving something has an entirely different meaning for the folks at Town Fair Tire. The salesperson then started to show me alternative tires and suggested a tire brand named Goodride. I had never hear of these tires and the salesperson assured me they were great tires and they were a bit cheaper that the ones I had originally wanted. I agreed. When I originally called I was told it would take 30-45 minutes to mount and balance the tires. This was a gross understatement. Thank goodness I had my laptop and a book with me. 3 hours later I left with my new tires. 30-45 minutes Town Fair Tire time is actually equal to 3 hours in the world most of us live in. I had these tires installed 14 months ago. I went to get my car inspected today and you guessed it I need new tires. This S&%4#Y brand of tire I was sold in lieu of the name brand I wanted originally has worn out. I went 18,000 miles on these tires, They are still under warranty but the warranty will only pay me $10/tire. A small amount of credit goes to the person I spoke with on the phone today. He did offer me a credit of $15.00 per tire instead of the $40 warranty amount toward new tires. Unfortunately that won't cut it. I still have to pay $600-$700 for new tires and now I'll take that money someplace else. Buyer beware Town Fair Tire SUCKS! read more

Just took 4hours and 15 mins to get tires balanced..... Was told 1-2h upon arrival.

At this point I am sick to the back of my teeth of car-loving dudebros who all seem to think they know better than the last dudebro who told me what to do, but can never agree on a script. Paternalistic, patronizing, obnoxious. Just no. Either come to a consensus or agree that NONE of you is actually an expert on anything and STFU. No more conflicting, unsolicited "advice." No more assuming I'm a moron. Enough. Back off. AAA thought the tire patchable, Town Fair Tire disagreed. Okay, whatever... I'm way too tired of dealing with these people to argue at this point. But don't act like you're doing me a big favor by knocking $10 off a $140 tire that should have just been a $25 patch job, and don't then criticize all the other decisions I've made based on past advice from other self-declared "experts." Your job is to change a tire, so JUST CHANGE THE TIRE. I will not be returning. read more

Had a great experience, called the night before to make sure they had the Pirelli tire I needed (obnoxiously hard to find) because one of mine blew out. Chris was super helpful and nice. Apparently YELP doesn't deem me credible for some reason and has banished me to filtered reviews. I can assure you however that I am a real live person and this is a genuine review. I have bought many sets of tires for different vehicles from two different Town Fair Tire locations over many years (minimum 6+ as I know this from where I live now) but must now recommend to AVOID this location AT ALL COSTS. Unless you are absolutely sure that you need new tires (which btw they are extremely wonderfully great at selling you-give them credit for that) and are ready, willing and able to purchase Brand New Tires do not go to this location EVER. I bought tires from them and the agreement clearly printed on the invoice was the it was free tire rotation. I showed up and they suggested that I needed ALL new tire$ because the front ones were worn. Yeah, HELLO I was getting them rotated due to that fact and the ones in the rear were clearly newer and within the range of acceptance. Isn't that what tire rotation is about? They are only interested in selling you new tires and clearly not on any follow up work that doesn't generate them any $$. The hype and sales pressure is deplorable. This business lists and offers things that they are unwilling to back up. Just don't go here save yourself time and aggravation it's clearly not worth it, in any sense. My tires only have a little over 18,000 miles on them. and rotated once at 10,000. You can be your own judge but now you have been forewarned. AVOID like no other! I ended up paying out of pocket myself and went to the local service station, which had no problems rotating the tires for me and the tires were not worn beyond usable life. CIearly I did not need new tires! read more

If your time and money are important, stay far away. I bought a set of four tires with the maintenance program. Sounded like a good deal until I tried to get my tires rotated, as per the paid for agreement. I made an appointment for something that should take 15 to 30 minutes, max. I was there for THREE full hours waiting for service. My 11am appointment didn't get me out of there until a little after 2pm. I work for a living and can't spend that kind of time just sitting around waiting for a business that takes my money, then puts me to the back of the line while they service everyone else who pays as they go. Once they get your money, you are on your own. It's time for tires again. I will NOT return. You shouldn't either. read more

Literally have never had a good experience in a tire shop including this very location in the past. Something has changed, though and I couldn't be more thrilled. Isaias is a godsend to this place. I felt like I was a human being, not a number and he knows his stuff! If Town Fair Tire can keep hiring people like him and Chris who make you feel good about coming in, they'll be moving in the right direction. My only minor suggestion would be to put the waiting area back the way it was. I can totally understand not wanting to have customers staring you down while they wait but it's pretty awkward to climb over other customers to sit. read more

I've been dealing with tire service centers for a while .. They all thieves & charge u much more than what they should, These guys were NOT!! This time I went to NTR (the one next to Town Fair Tires) & no body helped me or even realized my existence even though I was standing for 10 min. I got mad & went to Pep Boys, they were super busy. Decided to check if Town Fair Tire would help me out. Got there 20 min before they close. Told them about my tire leaking air & I have to inflate it every 2 days. They took my car. Checked the tire & told me I had a broken rim! They recommended a rims repair store. At the end of the visit, they checked all the lug nuts, inspected the tire, replaced it with the spare tire & charged me $4 only + they were super nice. I will always come back if I have any problem. read more

SAME DAY UPDATE: After having an initial horrible interaction with the call center twice, I wrote a scathing review here on Yelp and within the hour of posting the review I got a call from the manager Dennis apologizing for the bad experience(s) and was able to have me come right on in and he himself privided me with great service, assuring me every step of the way, getting to the root of the problem, and not giving me any issues about using my warranty [thats what its for after all, right?]. Dennis was fantastic and got me in and out as quickly as possible, so I truly feel as though they take their customer service very seriously, and I would happily come back again...negating around the call center, that is. My origional review is below: I rarely give such a low review, but BUYER BEWARE! I purchased brand new tires and a lifetime warranty the first week of January 2017. I am a cautious driver and do my best to take care of my vehicle while living in the city, yet in April, (approximately 4 months after purchase) one of my tires blew while driving on a main road. Because of this locations non-conducive hours of operation to anyone working a normal 8-5 job, it took me two weeks to get an appointment driving around on a spare tire, even with the option of taking a day off work to just get this taken care of. Fast forward to June, my other tire appears to have a leak. I tried calling for an appointment because I purchased that warranty for exactly this reason, [also brand new tires shouldn't be this much of a problem] and after calling back twice within a 4 minute time span I received the replies, "earliest appointment is at 5:30" to "There is nothing until Tuesday. HOW are you this "in demand" with such lousy service, terrible hours, and general honor of warranty/treatment of those who purchase it?! PRO TIP: if you want to be treated with the slightest decency, DO NOT mention you purchased the warranty until the last possible second! They really drag their feet when they know they have to honor it and you hold them to it. I currently have an appointment for SAME DAY SERVICE at a Goodyyear Tire in Somerville and will post a review on their service at a later date. Save yourselves the hassle, go elsewhere! I have always gotten tires for my cars from here but no longer. Last 2 times I've had problems. Put a new set of tires on my daughter's car. Paid for a full alignment. She picked up the car and drove back to school in Connecticut but had to pull off of the pike in Auburn because the car would shake so bad if she went over 50. She went to the Town fair tire there and they were very helpful. They told her it looked like the tires hadn't been balanced and the alignment was off. I got a full set for my car and 3 weeks later had to put it in the shop after a loud bang. The rear tires were so far off it had broken a sway bar. I sent an email to their customer support but never got a reply. The tire price doesn't offset the repair bills and aggravation. read more

I bought four new tires and got the insurance. One hit a pot hole and needed to be replaced. They agreed to replace it and did a great job. The reason I will never go back is that they cannot seem to manage the queue of customers at all. I waited approximately twice as long (2.5 hours) as he said I would. He talked me into getting the car aligned which was fine but he didn't mention that there is only one alignment machine and my car would go in line behind a million others. The tire was swapped out in about 20 minutes and I was all excited to get out of there only to see my car back out of the garage and in line for 2 hours for the alignment process. If you cannot manage expectations of your customers then you should not be in business. read more

5 stars for a tire place? Yes and well deserved. The staff (Dennis and Nick) were great. Town Fair Tire - The Somerville canyon. - Tires Near Me - Everett, Massachusetts

This town fair tire place is better than the one in Billerica and Salem, NH locations. They took care of my alignment when others gave excuses about different problems and how they couldn't do alignment. Why 3 stars, I went recently for a flat tire, way ahead of closing time and they told me that were all booked. With all the pleading and coming up with reasons of work they finally accommodated me, I don't think I'm ever buying my tires again from town fair tire or going to them. The painful experience with alignment has left a bad taste. Never go to the Billerica location, they are completely useless ! If you have to opt with no other option, then go to this Everett location. read more

I called multiple Town Fair Tires and each told me there would be a significant wait for any day I brought my car in. When I called the Town Fair in Everett I was told I would get right in with my appointment. When I brought my car in I was told it was a 2hr wait. If I had known this ahead of time I would've planned for someone to pick me up while my car is being serviced. The people at the front were not helpful at all. I then called Customer Service who was very apologetic and told me my car was next up to be serviced (this was after an hour of waiting). It wasn't until an additional 2 hr later that my car was finished. Not only was I misled by the people in the shop but I was also misled by customer service. This was my first time with Town Fair and it was a huge disappointment. read more
