Smoked Salmon Salad-YUM

Smoked salmon salad! Wow. Spinich, arugula, pepitos, charred corn, currents, heirloom tomato and cous cous with a buttermilk dressing! Divine. Our server, Christian was attentive but not intrusive! A pleasure.

This was our first time visiting this Gem in Madison. Our friends at LakeOconee highly recommended... Well! It over achieved on every level. Beautiful building, overlooking a beautiful garden and our server told us there was a creek in the back. The food was outstanding. My husband and I each ordered a Caesar salad, we could have split it... Delicious, with fresh aged Parmesan slices.I ordered the swordfish special, which came with a peach chili sauce. They paired it with sticky rice and fresh vegetables. It was perfect. My husband had the ribeye, and he said it was one of the best steaks he has ever eaten. Again portions are large. I started with the Lemon drop martini... And I shall toast to discovering this fantastic restaurant.

Had the most wonderful dinner on a Saturday night while visiting the beautiful town of Madison. The restaurant is just a few steps across the parking lot from the charming James Madison Inn which is how we ended up dining here. For starters, we had a basket of warm bread. I opted for French Onion soup for a starter and it hit the spot. My friend and I shared a generous portion of Chicken Parmesan, which was definitely plenty for two people. The food was very good and our server was EXCELLENT! Sierra gave us an over-the-moon dining experience that both my husband and I are so grateful for. She was such a joy and a pleasure. We hit the jackpot when we seated at her table. Thank you, Town 220 and Sierra, for a wonderful evening. Reservations are a must as this place is packed on a Saturday night.

We enjoy eating here about once a month. The atmosphere is very nice and intimate. The food is always delicious and the chef is top-notch. A great place for a special occasion or date night.

The atmosphere is great, wide open dining room with a full bar. There were 14 of us in the party and I'll say our waitress did a great job by handling us and a couple other tables. Only a few times did we have to wait a min longer to get our drinks. Now onto the food. For a nice place like this I expected more out of the flavor department in the food. It wasn't the best but wasn't terrible either. If paying 30+ a plate you should expect to be blown away with flavor. Other than that it was a great experience.

The Dining Room may be in a small town outside of Atlanta, but this place measures up to the heavyweights in the city. The service, decor, attention to detail, mixology, creativity of the dishes, and flavors were all top notch and very well thought out. They offer an a la carte menu or a 3 or 4 course tasting menu. Don't make the mistake I did and order a la carte. Go for the tasting menu. They say that the difference is that the a la carte portions are bigger, but I didn't really find that to be the case. The tasting menu is more of a prix-fixe menu as the portions are pretty close to full-sized if not actually full-sized. I mentioned the mixology earlier, and they really know their stuff in that area. Just asking for a classic cocktail, they asked the questions that most bartenders wouldn't think to ask. They really know their stuff, and I may have picked up a new favorite drink. Considering the full 4-course tasting menu is going for $99 as of this writing it's the most affordable fine dining experience you're going to find anywhere near the Atlanta area.

So I try it out, well my only problem is how can you have a menu with items listed but when you call they say we can't make your wings this way on Friday! What? Excuse me. Did I hear you correctly? It states no were on this menu that I can't order a 10pc of all flats on the weekend. I do not see that anywhere on here I see you have to pay an additional.75 cents for all drums or flats but it does not say the days of the week. If that is the policy then it needs to be placed on the menu. Yes, obviously I really wanted those wings! Don't judge me I just like what I like. I'll even pay extra for it! So since I couldn't have my wings my way they lost orders from other people who work with me. I guess that was no biggie on a lunch Friday!

Even had the nerve to get an attitude with me because apparently she doesn't know that peppers and onions are vegetables!! Ordering our philly with light vegetables and she gets an attitude then says "what vegetables you talkin about". I had to take a deep breath and control my blood pressure as I dealt with her unspoken self!! Then I told her that onions and bell peppers were a vegetable and when I said light vegetables that's what I am referring too. I hope the management does something about her getting attitudes with their paying customers!! If you can't speak in a professional manner then they need to make sure she doesn't interact with customers! I have always enjoyed their food but I will take my business someplace that treats its customers with some respect! There is no reason to get an attitude with a customer just because you have no idea what a dang vegetable is!! Time to get her out of the restaurant business!! Defiantly time to get her off the phone with your customers!!

It's a good spot for date night, or a special occasion, or just when you want a properly- and artfully-prepared crepe and coffee. Their new location in Dacula is a bit further from home for me, but it is worth the drive - and longer. They have an expanded menu featuring a variety of French classics. They still do offer galette and crepe menu items. This new location also features bar service, and their menu has a short list of specialty cocktails and TGG versions of standard mixes. Amuse Bouche: a fresh watermelon gazpacho (served in a shooter) with a tiny crispy wafer topped with Gruyère and apple preserve. Wild! I ordered the Boeuf Bourguignon. One of our party ordered the Sea Bass and another went light and ordered a selection of appetizers. They reported excellent preparation and flavors. Mine was extremely well prepared, rich and full flavored. The dishes were presented like works of art. It was the luck of the day that beams of setting sunlight shone through the curtains and illuminated our meals just as they were placed on the table. The spiraled lemon on the crab cake caught sun like a stained glass window. The beef arrangement on my side looked like a tiny forest, with tender boulders of mushrooms and meat, fallen trees of carrots, a little shrub of Swiss chard, and a sapling sprig of fresh rosemary. But for real - artistic musings aside, this was some damn good food. I thoroughly enjoyed the main course, and of course, I had to get a crepe for dessert. Tout de Chocolat was such a perfect finish, with freshly toasted almonds and warm buttery caramel to offset wave after wave of chocolate flavors. I always love the atmosphere they create. The owner was in the house and she is always such a delight to encounter. The Galloping Galette should be on your short list for great restaurant experiences in Gwinnett County.

The waitress took care of the drink and I ordered a tequila pineapple juice. Perfect. Shaken not stirred. The amouse bush was delicious and a great start. Waited a long time between courses IMHO. Did get the French onion soup which was actually very good. Just needed a pinch of salt Ordered the scallops and the duck special. Very rich but so flavorful and want you coming back for more.
