The service was so depressing that I may need therapy now. OK, let's get the bad out of the way first. We walked into the place with only one other customer in the building. Eh, it's Sunday afternoon. No greeting rang out, but that's cool. We approach the counter, where the cashier just looks at us like we've got tentacles growing out of our foreheads. Doesn't say a word, just stares. I decide to forge ahead and place my order, which is entered silently. My wife looks around because the cashier is still just standing there looking. Seeing as how she's already eaten, she just gets a drink, which seems to puzzle the cashier. Then, FINALLY, the cashier speaks! She gives us the total, swipes our card, hands us the receipt and cups, then walks off. When the food comes up, she makes sure to make us feel even more welcome by bagging our dine-in order to go! While we were eating, she proceeds to wander around the dining room talking, loudly, on her cell phone and eating. Lovely. Now, don't get me wrong. The food was good, the fries were fresh and crispy. I have no complaints about the food. But the cashier, who's name I can't remember, might want to consider a job at the DMV. No one expects them to be pleasant.
