The lady serving seemed a little out of sorts with questions. Whatever. Maybe a bad night. My chicken was kind of dry and was masked with a lot of cheese to cover up the problem. The fries were good. It's really a nice venue. I just can't get over how dry my chicken breast was.

Blacked salmon Caesar salad, pecan crusted salmon, and bulleit chicken with ranch salad and corn succotash

I got the bullet chicken with corn succotash and salad with ranch. Honestly it was fairly solid. I really do wish there was sauce and seasoning all around - especially on the succotash and chicken. The ranch was also a bit watery. The service was great and it is beautiful!! I just wish the food was a bit more seasoned. Also fairly small portions but the prices aren't bad

Mocktail - very good!

Mixed feelings on this place. Loved the vibe here and everyone was nice - particularly hostess, however service was very slow. Got maybe one water refill for our small water glasses the entire time. Food was also very meh- agreed with the fried deviled eggs being rubbery. We read that review but they sounded intriguing and got them anyways. Crab cakes on the other hand were super tastey! Caesar salad was also very good. Fish sandwich was more batter than fish but fine. Nice addition to wire park but things were either hit or miss.

Fries, burger topped with Mac &cheese and bacon

We have eaten here several times and have seats had a positive experience. This trip I had the fish sandwich with fries and garlic aioli dipping sauce, my husband had the burger with Mac and cheese and bacon on it with fries and we enjoyed our lunch choices. My fish was well cooked and flavorful, his burger was very good (albeit a little messy ) and as always the fries were crispy on the outside while tender on the inside! Service was great! Our hostess, Annie, was quick to greet us, and made sure we had the table we wanted and drinks. Our waiter, sadly I can't remember his name, but he came to our table quickly and checked in on us often! He even showed up with refills on drinks without us having to ask! He was also friendly with conversation. We always sit outside and enjoy watching everything going on around us! Love it here and will definitely return. We always come for lunch but next time will try for dinner.

I wanted to love this restaurant, but we were a little disappointed. Let's start with the positives. The ambience and styling were VERY nice and the waitress was attentive. They also have specials, like on Wednesday's 1/2 price on bottles of wine. I got Pecan Crusted Salmon. It was hands down the best tasting salmon I've ever had. Flavorful and not overcooked. My husband got the ribeye and fries. The fries were good and bountiful. But the ribeye was the let down. My guy was probably expecting a nice umami hit, but instead the steak had some kind of an apple-cinnamon tasting glaze which was overpowering. Please leave the steak alone! We'll probably come back at lunchtime one day for hamburgers. Hopefully they will taste like hamburgers and not a piece of candy.

CRISPY DEVILED EGGS Lightly Fried topped with Candied Bacon, Tomato Vinaigrette.

The service was excellent. We sat upstairs and could see the outdoor movie from our table. The place was new. Clean and popping with people on a Friday evening. The food is looks amazing on the menu! We started with 3 appetizers because we wanted to try them. 1. CRISPY DEVILED EGGS Lightly Fried topped with Candied Bacon, Tomato Vinaigrette. These were deliciously different. The breading and deep frying made the egg white a little rubbery. The candied bacon added a new flavor profile to the deviled eggs. 2. STEAMED MUSSELS Turner New Zealand Mussels served ni aSauvignon Blanc Buter Sauce, Poblano, Corn, Tomatoes, Onions with Toasted Bread. The tomatoes with the mussels made this sauce incredible! 3. FRIED GREEN TOMATOES Served with Tomato Vinaigrette, Pickled Onions, Queso Fresco. This was a little salty. Allyson ordered Blackened Salmon Salad. The salmon was good. She also enjoyed the the Asparagus from my entree and said it was excellent. I ordered *APPLE BUTTER GRASS FED RIBEYE - Turner Grass Fed Ribeye served with Smoked Gouda Mac &Cheese, Grilled Asparagus. The ribeye was delicious, the Mac and cheese was a little salty. I would have given this 4.5 stars only because some of the food was overly salty and I didn't think the deviled egg should have been deep fried.

Everything on the menu and coming from the kitchen looked good. The thick burgers are huge. I prefer a medium rare burger and mine was cooked nicely; however, my partner who ordered their burger as medium rare at the same time had theirs come out medium well to well done, so seems it can be a bit inconsistent. The staff are very friendly and the restaurant very cute inside as well. Overall it was a pleasant visit and we would try it again so would recommend for a lowkey lunch.

I told the young woman taking orders, and she assured me "it's no cheese" even though it didn't show. When my burger arrived, it had cheese. I asked if they could remake it without cheese (because I can't have any at all). A more senior staff member said she would "just take the cheese off," which wasn't acceptable. When I asked again for a new burger or a refund, she refused both--with an attitude. I ended up leaving still hungry and feeling ignored. I hope the cafe reads feedback like this and improves; their menu might have potential, but I can't recommend them based on my experience.

The portions were significant, but the dish was completely overwhelmed by garlic. It was supposed to be a hibachi steak and chicken, but ended up just tasting like all garlic. The food also took a little while to make despite there not being any parties ahead of us. Overall, it was an okay experience, but I'll likely opt to try something else next time I'm at Wire Park.

We ordered the steak hibachi, which is some of the best food I have gotten in Athens. They prepared it fresh and fast, and it also transported well back home. Portions were also relatively generous. I will certainly be returning for more of their delicious food and to try more of their menu. It appears to be fairly eclectic - I noticed Poké bowls are pictured online, but I did not see those this time. It's not a very large place so I'm not sure they have much room to dine in, but we might give that a try next time. They were sort of an unexpected find and a local gem. I highly recommend them if you're in the area.

Food:5/5 During the Sunday brunch, the chef and owner, Jose, makes delicious custom waffles and omelets right in front of you. The second room is buffet-style serve-yourself with salad and delicious lunch dishes of different meat-dish choices and vegetables, On the day we were there these included pulled pork, shrimp and grits, and a chicken dish. The dessert table is laden with cakes, fruit, and cheesecake, but you may be too full from the savory dishes to enjoy dessert. There is a menu instead of buffet for week day dining. Service:5/5 The servers are quick and pleasant. The owner and chef, Jose, comes around to the tables between his cooking duties to make diners feel welcome. Facility:3/5 There are indoor and outdoor tables. Although it's not large, it's casual, clean and cheerful with wall murals and cloth napkins. Location 4/5 Located on the main road thru Watkinsville, it's easy to access. Parking is somewhat limited, but usually is adequate. Price: The food is very good and the price reflects the willingness of the loyal customers to pay for the nice dining experience here, even though it is more than breakfast meals at our other favorite breakfast places. Coffee is additional to the food price.

He was prompt with all of our needs and checked in on us throughout. The food was yum. My kids had a burger. I had the chicken sandwich (so good). We tried both desserts. Both were impressive, I recommend scooping a bit of each on one spoon . Although each are delightful on their own. The lavender margarita gets two thumbs up! Decor was pleasant. I ordered the BBQ pork, and the fries were a bit soggy but that's how I like mine (hot take). Also, the cole slaw was a bit vinegary, which is also how I like it.
