What happens when the wife panics and you have to get something fixed, I called the person who I used n the past, he was on vacation. So I called Dave, he said he would be down to my house and he showed up on time, diagnosed the problem quickly, as well as fixing several other issues and came back to repair the issue on time at a reasonable price. When he returned to do the repair, he brought a young man with him who was so very polite and respectful I now have a new electrician. They came, they were as neat as possible, tarps and they took their shoes off before the stepped in my house, that is respectful. So my recommendation is in short use them, trust them and you won't be sorry. Thank you David, and I am sorry I don't remember you protégé name, but both were great! read more

I worked with Dave on installing EV charger, replacing floodlights, and installing new floodlights. Dave was very responsive to all my messages and requests. He even helped submit permit request to the town. His work was clean, quick, and high quality. After the job, he even extended the help to provide me a sample LED retrofit kit so that I can do light replacing myself. Dave put customer's satisfaction at first, and his price is very fare. I'll work with Dave for any future electric work. read more

I was so impressed with Dave's professionalism. He showed up with an assistant on time. He replaced a blown outlet and added a GFI outlet. Dave took the time to show, and explain what happened and what would be done. The work was effortless. His assistance cleaned up after himself. I don't understand this guy. I hired David to install a ceiling fan and provide me estimates on some work I might need and definitely need. At the time my HVAC was in rough shape and thought I was going to need to repair it and add an additional unit. While at the house I showed him fixture upgrade ideas I have and hire him to install a ceiling fan we had previously discussed when scheduling our appointment. I'm very flexible with availability and he said he was free the same afternoon we connected on Yelp. Anyway the ceiling fan makes a terrible grinding noise after he intalls it and he has to take it apart to redo half the work. I pay him and about an hour later it's making the same noise. No biggie. He's coming back to do the other work. Why not? He's reliable. He guarantees his work. We went to bed. The next morning he shows up. Yeah out of the blue. No appointment. Not sure why. We didn't plan anything yet and left with the understanding I'll buy the fixtures and call him when they arrive. I asked why he was at my house but don't remember what he said. Kind of creeped us out. Sooooooo, It takes us a little longer to buy the fixtures. Traveling, nothing we liked when we shopped, supply chain issues, golf, fishing trip, etc etc. It all came up. Anyway a few or so weeks go by and I reach out. He texts me back we can pick a day next week or next Saturday. I asked how is Monday? He says Monday is booked. Let's talk on Sunday and we can coordinate. Not sure if that meant I'd call him or he would call me. Nothing for about a week. I send a text asking if the following week would work for him? No reply. I call about a week later and send a text. No reply. I go to call him as I'm about to give him 1 more chance to redeem himself and rewrite this entire review with a better ending. The call sounds and feels like a blocked call. Straight to generic vm while the day before it went to his own vm. What? Huh? Is this guy for real? To test my theory I called from my other cell phone. It rang two times and he picked up. After I introduce myself he states he'll call me back in 10 minutes after he wraps up an estimate for another customer. Well if you're at this point of the review. Guess what.....he didn't call back when he said he would. No bueno. Not sure what is modus operandi is but it's not working for me. read more

Tower electric came over within a few hours of my contacting Anji. Big plus for that. He fixed the junction box in the ceiling where I was replacing a fan. I asked him to do all the electrical connections and I would finish the installation. Next morning I completed it. The lights worked but the fan did not. I called the next morning. He said he would find some time in the next few days to stop over. I sent Four text messages and emails over the next week. He has not replied or come by. He went from a 10 rating to zero read more

Dave provided excellent all around service and diagnosed my issue quickly. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again for work of any size.

Can't say anything but positive things about Dave and his work. A section of my house lost power for an inexplicable reason. I had one electrician come out and he dropped off the face of the earth. I found Dave through Yelp and he was here the following day. He arrived on time and ready to work. Dave is a very calculated individual concerned with problem-solving. His goal is to gather facts, isolate a problem and resolve it. We went around the house together and he simply said, "Tell me what you know." I did so, and we narrowed the problem down almost immediately. The job couldn't be completed in a single day, so Dave and I made a plan concerning what the solution was and when it would be implemented. He also gave me a very fair quote considering the time we spent identifying the issue. He returned a day later, again on time. Before getting to work, he indicated that he thought there could be a cleaner and more efficient, practical solution he wanted to try first. He was clear that this would not increase the approximate quote I had previously received. An hour later, he had restored the power. Dave didn't need to make any holes in my walls, run any new wires, or install or replace any equipment. He managed to track the dead short causing the issue and eliminate it. At the end of our journey, he adjusted the quote down in light of the revised solution and I was more than happy to pay for his time and effort. Throughout his visits, he was very personable and also concerned with educating me -- something I appreciated greatly. I walked away from this experience with power working and a better knowledge of the wiring in my home and also electrical wiring in general. I highly recommend Dave. read more

We had some issues setting up our doorbell cameras so reached out to Dave requesting for quote. He came to see what work was needed the very next day. After confirming what work was needed, he and Steve came out the following weekend and did everything in under two hours which included several other electrical work we found after the initial meeting. He was great, all the spaces they worked on were cleaned after the work was done, they even took their shoes off when work was needed inside!!! read more

Had an outlet problem, It was repaired quickly. Dave is a very experienced electrician. I would definitely use again.

I have had some additional work done, they were spot on and thorough, especially during covid 2020. They stopped by when I had a minor issue, didn't charge me the full price. For my future electric work, I'm calling them first. read more

Dave and his team are honest, efficient, and cost-effective. I had a pretty substantial daylong job with them where they did excellent work. The job included the installation of a 240 V outlet in a very difficult location. The conditions were not ideal for Dave and his team, but he found a way to get it done. The work also included the replacement of approximately 20 light fixtures. He has 42 years of experience doing electrical work and I will continue to hire him as long as he is working. Thanks Dave! read more

Dave came highly recommended by our realtor, and we can definitely see why. The estimate was efficient and comprehensive, he has great ideas, and the work was completed in very professional and timely manner. He also hung a tv over our fireplace (concrete and brick) using a very tricky mount that I purchased, and it looks amazing. I feel like 5 people could hang from it and nothing would budge an inch. Don't hesitate to call Dave for all of your electrical work. read more

Excellent work. He is knowledgeable, friendly and very informative. In fact he charged less than what he quoted me in the phone. Due to the fact that it took less time to what he anticipated. That is very honest and reliable. read more

I called Dave at Tower because he had such great reviews here and now I know why. He deserves every five star review. The receptacle for my clothes dryer blew the circuit breaker and needed to be replaced. Dave came the same day I called, he told me how much it would cost during the initial phone call (before i remembered to ask), he assured me that he would fix the problem. He arrived on time, fixed the problem and reduced the charge because it was such a quick repair. He could not have been more prompt, professional, or nicer. I would definitely call him again and I recommend him without reservation. I never leave reviews because i'm lazy, but this was a great experience. I've owned a house for decades and I've had good, bad and indifferent but this was great! read more

Responded to my request for a quote on Yelp earlier this week and came to do the work this morning. Super efficient and even added a service while he was here. Will 100% use for Any future electrical needs in the area. Highly recommend. Thank you! read more

I'm always weary of contractors requiring $$$ just to come in and do a quote. That almost guarantees them your business because who wants to waste $150 and not have any work done if you find someone cheaper or better? Out of the five electrical contractors I called, the rest has stellar reviews also and were able to provide me a FREE estimate by phone, email, or in person. It's a shame that Tower doesn't understand they first need to earn my business and by forcing me to pay for an estimate they already lost my business. Oh, and for what they were able to quote me via text, was already MORE THAN double the cost for a dimmer than someone else quoted. I would steer clear!!! read more

I highly recommend Tower Electrical. Dave is professional, knowledgeable, and so nice. He is direct and straightforward with the work entailed and the price. I just moved into a new home and needed an electric charger for my wife's plug-in hybrid and new outlets installed in the garage. Working with David was a pleasure. He communicated well, and did a beautiful job of walking me through the options and his opinion of how best to approach setting up the charger. He worked hard for most of the day, did a beautiful job in my nice new garage, and everything works as advertised. Can't recommend him enough! (Thanks again, David!) read more

Dave is the best! I couldn't recommend him enough! I had to get a Tesla home charger installed into my garage, and I had contacted 3 electricians for quotes. Right away, I could tell Dave was a good guy, and he was really easy to talk to. Also, he was extremely timely - he came over right away for the quote and he scheduled me the next day for the installation. Dave was the ONLY person who gave me the correct quote (as estimated by Tesla), and the other two electricians tried to take advantage by charging TWICE or TRIPLE as much (so ridiculous!). During the actual installation, he was very respectful and was always cheerful despite working outside in the winter all day. He even cleaned up after himself so well that my garage was cleaner than it was before he came. Amazingly, he also came by the day after everything was installed to add a holder he had specially bought for the charging cable - free of charge. He even demo'd our basement walls that had become moldy after we recently found a leak. Also, free of charge. I don't even think that's within his line of work to be doing this type of task, but he was worried that the mold was bad for us. That was totally above and beyond but he's really THAT great of a guy! read more

We used Dave for some electrical work in our house that we just bought. We wanted to add a new outlet in the Study, fix some outlets that didn't seem to work and adjust height of 2 chandeliers among other minor electrical work. We were new in the area and not sure who to contact. Called Dave and a couple other electrical contractors. Dave was the most easily reachable and accessible at all times. In fact, on our first call he was on a vacation but still was able to talk briefly about availability and rates. He showed up in the morning of the very first Sunday and did all the work with exceptional professionalism. To be honest, I was a little skeptical at first when I heard the rates but when the work was done, it was worth every penny. We were very pleased with the work done. Not even an extra scratch. They even vacuum after they are done :). Besides he is very personable. We didn't feel that we were meeting him for the first time. Would definitely use him/Tower electrical for every electrical project in our house going forward. Highly recommended. read more
