Tony is the best. I called him with a small but urgent problem... the outlet that my router is plugged into suddenly cut out for seemingly no reason which meant no wifi. Instead of coming out to the house and charging me a fee, Tony gave me free advice over the phone so I could easily fix it myself. Very nice of him, and very smart too. The answer was shockingly simple and did not need an electrician to fix it... but it did need an electrician to know about it. I had Tony and his team out last year to put in a new dedicated circuit for a treadmill and lights in my workout room. My house is pretty difficult, as its a split level and they needed to wire a new circuit through a bunch of twists and turns across the property. Tony did an amazing job, put in great lights (which he recommended and wired to an old dimmer switch) and was done in less than half a day. He also put minimal incisions into my drywall, which left me pretty impressed with his work. I use this room now every single day, and Tony's work was instrumental to that. Tony and his guy were great. If you want a service done right hire Diamond. They are thorough and no what they are doing. They installed a fan and checked some of my light fixtures and outlets. I like the fact that they showed me the issue and gave me solutions how to fix it instead of just quoting me a price. The only reason it is not 5 stars is that hey are little Pricey. However, I can justify the money spent because you pay for what you get. And you get a really good service with guys that know what they are doing. Emergency on a Saturday....couldn't figure out why we lost power from just a few outlets when circuit breakers were working. Of course, it was the computer, modem and router, so no internet! Called and Tony answered - told me immediately what it would cost for the initial visit and arrived within 30 minutes with his colleague. The discovered the old fuses (not the circuit breaker), showed us how to replace them, explained why it's 2 fuses, not just one - we would have tried replacing them one at a time and never been successful! I called them at 4:00; by 5:00 Tony had arrived and fixed the lighting fixture I needed repaired. It seemed a little high--$230 for the job--but the electrician, Tony, was really good and so darn punctual. When was the last time you called anyone like an electrician and a) he answered the phone and b) he said he could come that day and c) he did? So yes, it was pricey--but holy cow, it is so nice to just say, "Well, that's all done and I won't get shocked or burn the house down." I'd use them again. We needed an electrician when remodeling our kitchen.We decided to contact Tony for this job after seeing all of his wonderful reviews on Angie's List. From first contact with Tony he was responsive and immediately told me when he could come out to look at the job. He showed up exactly when he said he would and explained everything to my wife since I wasn't home. We had spent some time getting other estimates so by the time Tony gave us his we were a bit pressed for time. No worries there as Tony managed to squeeze us in exactly when we needed him to. Tony and his team showed up promptly for the job and did a great job. They even left off the light switches, plugs and ceiling light fixtures because the kitchen was gutted and he wanted us to be able to work and paint without worrying about them getting dirt or paint on them. He gave us some standard bulbs to put in the ceiling so that the new LED lights would be new when we were finished. We planned with Tony that he would come back on Monday 6/27 to finish the work. The appliances were going to be delivered early so by today 6/24 so I called Tony on Wednesday with a remote hope that he could come today to finish so that we could plug everything in. Tony, as usual, responded promptly and told me that he would be here late morning today. Certainly that exceeded my expectations! Tony showed up right on time and finished the work. The new LED lights are so bright and cost effective! I had thought I needed to add a light to the ceiling but Tony said to see what it looked like with the new bulbs in and he was right. Tony was wonderful to work with from start to finish. My husband and I bought a home with aluminum wiring that was supposed to have had all outlets pigtailed to be safer. However, the switches and dimmers were not updated at all. I looked into some more expensive methods and after speaking with Tony I was able to make an informed decision to do the safety upgrades that would not break the bank. The money we originally budgeted for the job stayed roughly the same. However, we were able to spend hundreds less than the rough estimate from another electrician and we got much more than we would have with them. Yet, he was not so cheap so we were not concern about the quality. Within our budget to just make the house safe, we got more than every outlet, switch and receptacle inspected and pigtailed with the current and recommended method. We also now have all new recess lighting (30+ lights) upgraded to LED with new bluetooth dimmers, new outlets and switch plates, 2 new hallway lights installed, an outdoor light upgraded, and a copper wire installed from the breaker with a outlet for a new stove (because the old stove was hard wired aluminum) so it no longer tripped the breaker when all burners were in use at the same time. Him and his assistant Joe made the process quick and easy. I was able to purchase my own devices without concerns about paying inflated prices. They did all of this in the span of two days. I now feel safer in our home and the job even ended up under the estimate he gave by about $100 because there were less aluminum wired outlets than expected.
