The Fire Marshall in Princeton, NJ told my company we had to install lights and illuminated exit signs throughout the building. Not the best news because of the additional wiring and high expense, but I started vetting electricians. It was so frustrating because of the lack of responsiveness, follow-up, and transparency of the companies I spoke to. Then I found All Electric Services, LLC, and it was smooth sailing from there. Their dispatcher, Jennifer, is absolutely amazing. She makes it so seamless to get information, schedule a job, and get an estimate. In this case, Chris came out to have a look, and in no time, we had precise, written plans and an estimate. Jen made sure we knew what to expect every step of the way, and the job was done seamlessly for a very reasonable price. The Fire Marshall was pleased, and the signs and lights look great. Recently, all the outlets in my kitchen in my home started going out. I emailed Jen, and in no time she scheduled the job and communicated with me each step of the way what was going on and when the electricians would arrive. The electricians, both named John, were knowledgeable and very nice. The issue was challenging, but they figured it out and did a great job fixing it. I was pleased, and I was even more pleased when I saw the invoice. I was scared what the cost would be, but it was quite affordable. Jen again made it a snap to pay electronically. I appreciate the way this company uses text messages, phone, and email to effectively communicate. I think this is a great company. read more

Only gave them one star because Yelp won't let you give them zero stars. The guys are very nice BUT I will never use them again! I called to make the appointment, explained the issue and was told it would be $145 plus materials. Turns out it was just the light that needed to be switched out. The lady in the office ended up charging me $287. Now claiming that the $145 was just for them to come out. I make it a point not to use companies that charge insane prices just to come and look at a problem so I am 1000% sure she said $145 plus what ever materials they use. She then went on for 10 mins telling me she assumed I knew the $145 was a service charge and then tried to tell me I was spinning things around. Having an interior design business myself, I understand businesses have their set prices for certain things. But it's unacceptable to tell a client one price and then after the work is done give a completely different price and on top of that tell me I misunderstood what she meant when she said "it'll be $145 plus materials used." Never said there's a fee for them to come out, never said there is an assessment fee, service fee. And then be rude to the client about a mistake SHE made. So I just paid $287 to switch out a light that I could of done myself for free. She didn't even care that the company would lose a client. Customer service is ALWAYS first on my list read more

I'm a widowed senior citizen who needed a few minor repairs In my condo. Having trouble finding a handyman, I remembered my daughter just made an appointment for major (compared to me) electrical work and asked for his name. I called and Chris (the owner) answered. He was very knowledgeable and understood my problems, especially with my smoke alarm. Chris sent his tech, John(a very nice young man), the following morning. Chris was great. We needed a motion sensor replaced in our yard. I told him what I wanted and where I wanted it and sent pics. Received quote and once accepted he sent Nick out the next day to do the job. Unfortunately the next day one of the bulbs didn't work. Nick was out the next day and replaced both bulbs. Great company! Chris was very responsive to all of my messages. His crew showed up on time, they were extremely professional and friendly. We needed a replacement attic fan and 3 outdoor electrical outlets added. They worked very fast and did a great job. I have 3 cats, they made sure that they closed the doors when going in and out. Called and they came right out. I was told that there was a $150 service charge to come out. I agreed and in hindsight, I regret that. There are plenty of free estimates. The tech was professional and pleasant and within 5 to 10 minutes agreed that it was the mainboard. The price was 500 $ higher than the first bid but I was desperate at this point and would have had the work done. The service charge would not be included I was told and the person in charge would not work with me on price. So I can't speak for their work but if your retired and getting by look elsewhere. read more
