What a great idea to have for a wedding, a sweet sixteen party, bar mitzvah. Julian from Majestic did such a great job with the photo booth at our Elite Yelp Event . The props were so much fun and added a great touch to my pictures. There were a great assortment to choose from. The booth was very comfortable and it only took several minutes from start to finish. Once we were done posing my pictures were instantly ready for viewing and to keep. I got a very friendly vibe and left the booth with a smile on my face. This review is mostly for their photobooth. I went to the Yelp Unwedding event where I got to try out their photo booth. It was fun, easy to use, and came with cute props. They have three choices: 1) black and white 2) color and 3) video. I didn't try out the video option but it was cool that it was there. The photos printed out fairly quickly and you get 4 printouts which is nice for groups using the photoboth since you get enough copies for everyone (I doubt you could fit more than 4 people inside... I went with 3 people and it was a little squished). I wish I hadn't already had my wedding so I could go back and have a photo booth! read more

I love me some photo booths! Especially this one from Majestic. Props from goofy signs (including phrases relevant to the event ie. "I'm here for the cake" or "always a bridesmaid" at a wedding) to big sunglasses and superhero masks. I love that you get a choice of black and white or color pictures when you go into the booth. With the countdown clock you can set yourself up for great shots each time. Photo quality is pretty solid too. I'll definitely keep this team in mind to recommend and for my own future events! read more

The photo booth is always a hit no matter what your event and I loved that they had so many props to choose from. The two photo cards that came out were clear and quality. Met these peeps via Yelp! Now tell me who doesn't love a photo booth? I know I'm all about them! The gentleman working the booth was a happy camper, very helpful, and friendly. There was an abundance of props like signs, sunglasses, beards, and masks. Like every photo booth I'm caught with my mouth open and eyes closed because I'm clueless to when the pic is gonna be taken. STAY AWAY!!!! We had several problems with Julian (the owner) of Majestic Events. 1) Its now over 2 years since our wedding, and he failed to deliver on lined items in our contract including: a) wedding album; b) 2 parent albums; c) 8 x 11 Proof Books; d) included enlargements; and e) cigars / humidor that were included. 2) Regarding the photos there were several problems: a) During the planning process, he provided sample albums to look at that appear to have been taken by other photographers. b) The 2 photographers at our wedding apparently did not know each other, and had not worked together before. c) Many of the photographs we received were useless (of the back of people's heads, or included the other photographer). 3) We have paid in full, and Julian does not answer our calls (he sends our calls to voicemail). And he does not respond to emails. STAY AWAY!!! read more

My sister & I drove an hour here because she had an appointment so she could talk about hiring a wedding officiant. We got there and the office door is wide open but no one was in the office. We waited 5 minutes then She called the number she was given to tell them we were here and the woman took forever to answer and seemed to either not know or forget about the appointment. And all she said was ok hang on so we waited a little longer and nobody showed up or called back so we ended up leaving. Not a great first impression. It's understandable if something happened and she had gotten a phone call but nobody called or emailed her and it seemed like the appointment was forgotten. read more

USE WITH CAUTION! We used Majestic's DJ services for our wedding at Rock Island Lake Club. My advice is to book someone else, but if you do book them use with caution. I know they have other good reviews (part of why we booked), but our experience couldn't have been more different. We booked their mid-level package that includes both an emcee and lighting. We were under the impression we would have the emcee the entire night, but that wasn't the case. He left right after introductions. They also completely forgot to bring the lighting. Luckily, our venue has lighting (installed after we booked) so we had lighting for our wedding, but if they didn't it would have been catastrophic. After about 2 weeks of emails and phone calls, we finally got in touch with Julian and he agreed to refund us for the lighting. The check bounced; finally after more tracking down he told us there was money in the account to please retry. The other issue we had was that our final meeting with Julian seemed pointless; we discussed having country played during dinner. That didn't happen; instead they played elevator music that I had to go up and request the DJ stop. I will say the DJ was great, he kept people on the floor the whole night, but the overall service provided was lacking. If you choose to book I suggest you have very clear discussions on your expectations beforehand and use a credit card so you can easily dispute any issues. read more

If you are looking for music for your wedding, do NOT use these people at Majestic Entertainment. They were terrible all around. We used them in September of 2012 and we could not be more disappointed. The MC rushed through the opening of our reception, got the name of the best man wrong (Michael instead of Matthew how hard is that?) and called the grooms uncle his father, who is deceased, causing much embarrassment to his mother and family. All after the bride reviewed the names and relations of these people with him moments before. The MC then LEFT the event entirely within the first half hour and did not send any replacement or come back at all, and the contract they make you sign clearly states they will provide a replacement if someone has to leave. They make you pay extra to have two people, an MC and a DJ, and then don't care to even stay. Since the MC left the DJ did not even make any effort to make announcements such as "Dinner is server", "The cake is being cut", etc. which caused confusion for the guests. The DJ also did not play the music we selected on their company's website, he played whatever HE wanted to play and it was terrible music the guests did not dance to, and after being told by the mother of the groom and other guests to play better music multiple times he finally changed what he was playing at the end of the reception, so three and a half out of four hours he played what he wanted and not what we wanted. He mixed up many of the songs selected for specific moments, such as the bouquet toss and the garter toss, and the bride herself had to stop what she was doing and correct him. The sound quality of their equipment was poor, where the volume would spike randomly and then there would be screeching feedback. We reached out to the owners of Majestic Entertainment after the wedding to express our disappointment and they ignored our calls and letters, despite the fact that they clearly breached their own contract. Do not waste your money on them, find a better company. read more
