We had an excellent time with our photographer Rich. he made you feel rlly comfortable and was really creative with our photos.

We just received our photos from our wedding on 3/21 and all we could say is WOW. My wife and I were just in awe of how amazing the photos looked, especially the portraits which looked like a work of art. We were assigned Reena and Roderick as our main photographer and videographer, and Ben and Tuck as the secondary photographer and videographer. They gave such clear direction to ensure the photos came out the way we wanted. All 4 of them were respectful, professional and very accommodating. We had an extensive list of photo combinations we wanted with the bridal party, our parents, wedding sponsors, and extended family and the Dean Michaels team managed to capture every single moment. I'd ask Reena last minute if we could take pictures at different locations and she would be so accommodating and the photos came out perfect. We are so glad we went with Dean Michaels. It's always tough picking through hundreds of wedding photo companies but my wife and I really liked the style of Dean Michaels which provided a good mix of dramatic and traditional photos without being too over the top. We highly recommend Dean Michaels if you're undecided who to go with for your wedding or any other events! read more

We love looking through our pictures and watching our videos because it brings us back to our perfect day! read more

Book them! You won't regret it! All around, absolutely wonderful! Chrissy was our first point of contact, Laura was our photographer, and we had a great videographer. Everyone was so amazing! Chrissy was so helpful, quick to respond and had great communication. At our wedding, they captured the typical posed and beautiful staged shots as well as awesome candid shots! Laura has such a creative eye and got some neat shots I never even considered. I was really happy that they directed me often as well. I kept holding my bouquet very high and she'd tell me to bring it down, she had people throw leaves, found beautiful backgrounds, and would let me know if I was looking down or needed to hold my chin or chest out more. I'd rather have direction than get back photos that aren't that flattering. The videographer was the same, making sure we hit certain cues, moved around or looked certain ways to get the best shots. We received our sneak peek very fast and it just got me even more excited for the rest of the photos! They were also very affordable, offered discounts, didn't charge a credit card surcharge and ensured that no matter what happens, someone would be able to come to the wedding. I was nervous hiring a freelance or smaller photographer after hearing some stories about last minute issues and no photographer showing up. Since this is a studio, there are many photographers and videographers so they guarantee someone will be available at contract signing. So very pleased all around! Update: I wrote that from the sneak peek I received and I just got the final pictures.. they far exceeded expectations! They are breathtaking and so freaking amazing! The photographer captured ALL the moments - the staged shots, the laughing, the crying, the dancing, the singing, the AIR GUITAR (Yeah, drunk bride hit that air guitar at the end of the night). I am so beyond happy with Dean Michaels Studio & Laura! LOVE! read more

We booked Dean Michaels Studio for our Photo and Video packing for our wedding about a year prior to our wedding. They were recommended to us by our friends and we knew they were experts at our venue which was a goal of ours! We had Kartheek as our lead photographer. Him, as well as the other photographer and both videographers were awesome! Everyone was prompt, friendly and made us, as well as our friends and families, extremely comfortable throughout the whole day. We received our sneak peaks and our photos with no delays! We have already received our videos, earlier than expected, which we loved! Our trailer and highlight videos are truly amazing and our families are in awe of them. We asked the studio to make a few adjustments to our longer video and we cannot wait to see the final product. Our families haven't stopped gushing about how clear and precise all of the photos and videos have turned out! The studio has been so seamless to communicate with from beginning to end! Overall, we would highly recommend Dean Michaels Studio for any event! read more

We are beyond thrilled with how our wedding photos have turned out from Dean Michaels Studios. We didn't give too much guidance but Rich was able to capture such a beautiful snapshot of our entire day. I corresponded with Chrissy throughout the planning process and she was very friendly, responsive and helpful in immediately answering all of our questions. Our photographer Rich was also very accommodating and called me to discuss the timeline prior to the day and answered all questions I had. On the day of, we met Rich for our first look at another location (Verona Park) before heading to the venue for the rest of the pictures. He was nothing short of amazing all throughout the day and night and made sure we had taken all the pictures we wanted prior to leaving. Rich just crushed it. He made me at ease felt comfortable and got me out of my shell which is not easy to do. The price was right. The photos were great and the facilities were clean. I actually needed some extra work and he did the right thing by me. I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for something quick easy and professional. No need to shop around at other places in the area and it's worth making the trip even if you're not in the area. I called several different places and not only did Rich get back to me quickly he came through in the end for what are great headshots. read more

We had a small wedding at home and the photographer was amazing. However, I was surprised that for $700 all we got was 255 photos that were on a link we had to download ourselves. USB was not provided and no prints were included for that price I feel like since we waited 3 weeks before the wedding we were taken advantage of and should have gone with another company. Lesson learned and only myself to blame. Very disappointed newlyweds.... read more

My fiancé and I had the best experience with Dean Michaels Studio. Chrissy has been so helpful and always replies quickly. We had our engagement shoot with them a few weeks ago. Rich was our photographer and he was wonderful. My fiancé and I have never done a photoshoot before so we were nervous; Rich walked us through all the best spots for shots and showed my awkward self how to pose. He made it such a fun experience. He even laid in the wet grass to get the best angles for some of the shots! The photos came out better than I could have ever dreamed! We got a photo preview within a few days and the photos in a week. Can't wait to work with them again on our wedding day next year. read more

We could not have been more thrilled with the amazing experts at Dean Michaels photography! We (because we're insane) decided in August to have a backyard wedding and reached out to Dean Michaels only two weeks before the actual event. They were so accommodating and actually excited to make our wedding happen! My photographers were Chrissy and Dean and they were just fantastic. Special shout out to both of them for being so professional and wonderful. The day of the party was so hectic and they just absolutely rolled with the punches and went with the flow. On their way out, they realized we never cut our cake. They actually came back and grabbed us so we could photograph a cake cutting. Amazing! I also must mention the fact that Chrissy was our main point of contact and took care of everything! She was so flexible and wonderful. Oh and of course our pictures were gorgeous! This is my second review for Dean Michael's Studio. The first review was a rave about the service they provided to my husband and me during our wedding. This one is regarding the Maternity Shoot we experienced yesterday with Rich. I encourage all to consider using Dean Michael's Studio, not only for your Engagement Shoot/Wedding, but also for your Maternity Shoots. We met with Rich in Sandy Hook yesterday at 6.00pm. My husband and I brought a few fun props with us, but didn't think the shoot would take more than an hour, at best. Working with Rich was just as we remembered. Rich was excited to pose us perfectly, fix our hair and outfits, find the best lighting, crawl around in the sand, and use different backgrounds around the Sandy Hook area. In fact, we followed him around to three different locations so our pictures had a variety of backdrops. We ended in the water at the bay, with the sunset behind us. Perfection. To be honest with you, I originally thought a Maternity Shoot to be a little corny, for lack of a better word. But the pictures that Rich showed us quickly on his camera spoke for themselves. Not only were they breathtaking pictures that I can't wait to share with my future daughter, but the experience in itself was special, exciting, and lots of fun. Even my husband drove away from the parking lot appreciating the experience. I can't say enough amazing things about Dean Michael's Studio, especially Rich. I have referred them to six other couples, all of which have used and referred them. They are professional, creative, and just plain, nice people. read more

We used dean Michaels for our wedding in September 2017. Truthfully, I cannot say I was a big fan. I was hoping to have a more personal experience with our Photography Company. I was not told who my photographer or videographer was until about a month before the wedding. I did not have any contact information for them either. I received a call from both my photographer and videographer about a week before my wedding to go over details, who was involved in family and bridal party that was basically it. Nothing personal and we did not have any face to face interaction with anyone from the company. THEY ONLY EMAIL I felt the main photographer was kind of nasty the day of the wedding. We had a big bridal party and she just seemed to get annoyed with it. Our poses for pictures were basic and nothing out of the ordinary. Also, many family photos were missed. Me with my niece, sister-in-laws, my husband and my brother. I asked if I needed to make a list of photos I wanted, but was told she would just need a list of family. Originally, we were told our pictures would take 4 weeks after our wedding. When I followed up right after our wedding to see what the process would be, I was then told 4-6 weeks. Then I followed up again at 5 weeks and was told 6-8 PLUS weeks. I had to then follow up again going on 9 weeks for my pictures. I was told that it was a busy wedding season and things took more time. I just wonder why book so many wedding if the delivery is going to be delayed. We received a "sneak peek" over a month after our wedding, where most companies give a sneak peek the week of! Now on to the video, we did not receive a call in regards to our video until MARCH!!!!! I had followed up a couple times and finally got a call. I was not allowed to pick any music for my video, which we were told we would be able to in the beginning. Then when I got the call the video was done, the videographer asked for me to review it in one day and give feedback! There were things I wanted to change but didn't have another chance to watch it within 24 hours. So then a final video was sent to me. At this point I didn't even respond and just kept the video because I was fed up. We were also told that when it was time to create our Wedding Album that we would get a call to come into the office and go over it. Nope, just received an email to send a form in with a $10.00 shipping cost! Truthfully, I just think this is a wedding factory. It really isn't personal at all. Once you send them the check they do not meet with you or get to know you at all after. My photos came out nice, but I believe I could have gotten the same from a smaller studio who give a more personal experience. read more

Had a great experience with Dean Michael's! Their staff and photographers are really talented at what they do. We interviewed several other studios who were either too 'commercial" or too over-the-top. However, I can honestly say that our experience Dean Michael's was perfect. We did an engagement shoot, which came out beautifully. On the day of our wedding, our photographers were not intrusive, but at the same time got all the shots of family and friends. We booked our videographer with them as well, and absolutely love our wedding video. Overall, a great place to book your wedding photos! read more
