My husband and I are absolutely blown away by the photos we received back from our wedding. I don't even know how I can put into words how happy we are that we will have these pictures forever to remember our wedding day by. When we first met with Dean Michaels Studio I was at a point in planning where I was feeling a bit like we would never find a photographer who's photos we loved AND who we got along well with (my emotion shows on my face so this was SO important to me). Our initial meeting with Christin went phenomenally. She was kind, knowledgeable, and totally listened to all of our concerns. I love that their packages are customizable but their base packages do give an excellent place to start. We decided to add on an engagement shoot to give us the opportunity to meet and get comfortable with our main photographer, Laura. Christin has suggested Laura after listening to our "wants". And wow, she is amazing! Within just a few minutes it felt like it was a friend taking our photos which really helped us relax. We got our engagement picture sneak peak back and then the rest a few days after that. And we were now so excited and glad with our decision. As our wedding day approached, Laura and Rich (our second photographer) both reached out to ensure they had all of the details and go over everything. On the day they both arrived on time (even a little early!) and immediately started taking photos. Laura was with the ladies and I knew I could trust her to just do her thing (and I was right - it relieved a bit of my stress). Rich met with the guys at our venue and I imagine it was a great experience as all of the pictures are awesome. The rest of the day went by in a blur for us but having all of our photos from Laura and Rich have been the best way to relive it. I definitely recommend 2 photographers - I am loving the different points of view. It felt right from the moment I walked through the doors of their Madison studio to meet with Christin for the first time. choosing a photographer and videograher was one of the harder decisions in wedding planning. there are so many bad photography businesses out there that offer large packages for cheap prices and giving low quality products from. sending out freelancers that are not part of their company. it took a bit of time to look at reviews of local business in New jersey to find Dean Micheals Studio. after reading the reviews, I booked an appointment with them. I talked to one of the owners. she and her husband took over the husband's dads business which has been around for 35 years. many of the employees have been there for many years. Just that, made me comfortable in booking with them. another thing that I loved was that they provided photography and videography. I wanted to book both packages from the same place to provide a good team and workmanship in guiding me and my husband through our photos. I was able to book them for 6 hours as I didn't need the traditional 8+ hour packages since I got my hair and makeup done at a bridal salon. The pictures and videos were amazing. Dean Michaels Studio did such an incredible job with our wedding photos and video, we were absolutely ecstatic with the results!!! Their photographers and videographer were knowledgeable, easy to work with, and made the entire process completely stress-free! We had such a blast working with them all day. We were also so pleasantly surprised by how quickly our photos and video got back to us, everything was AMAZING! I have to say though that the video is what really had me crying! At first we hadn't signed up for a package that included a videographer, but I'm SO HAPPY we changed our minds!! Dean Michaels has been exceptional from start to finish with our photos and videos for our wedding. I was very specific with what I wanted and expected and the whole team went above and beyond in every sense to deliver! I can't thank Dean Michaels Studio enough for all that they've done! My fiance and DMS set up the proposal date and they traveled to the shore to capture this special day for us. I still can't believe how accommodating they were the day of the proposal as well. I had absolutely no idea my fiance planned this proposal. DMS came out like ninjas and capture all of my emotions! Our wedding is coming up this August but we had our Engagement shoot with Maggie this past October and I cannot say enough good things about our experience in booking. Sue, Nichola and Klaire have all been wonderful and responsive to all questions I have for our upcoming wedding and I know that I am in good hands. I initially walked into Dean Michaels because my fiance and I were looking to use the DJ they share an office with. Dean Michael's Studio was there for my husband and I during the pandemic. They did an amazing job taking shots of my ceremony and small reception this year. Maggie and Rich were our photographers for our wedding and we are really happy with the results! They were great at guiding us, our families, and bridal parties in the pictures and timed everything well allowing us to be done with all of the formal pictures before cocktail hour began which was important to my husband and me. I love the pictures from our reception, looking back at them made me so happy because they really captured the feel of the night. The family-owned business has been in the industry for over 35 years and offers so much variety. We had two photographers (Laura and Maggie) and two videographers (Oleks and AJ) and they all worked seamlessly to ensure that my husband and I were comfortable and looking our best. I'm extremely picky about photos of myself and my husband is extremely reserved and they truly have the magic touch in capturing our true selves.
