I have been into Tous Les Jours for a while, and I'm glad I found a bakery nearby my apartment unit. There's something about TLJ that stands out from other bakeries, chain or not. I am super happy they're on Too Good To Go as well. I personally think that this bakery is one of the most reliable when it comes to expecting quality.

Stopped in for the matcha before heading to the library across the street and I'm so glad I did. I got the guava matcha and it was such a good combo. The guava added just the right amount of sweetness without overpowering the matcha. I didn't get any food this time, but everything in the display looked so good. They had a great selection of pastries, cakes, and breakfast items that definitely caught my eye. I'll absolutely be back to try the food because this place seems like a hidden gem. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area.

This is a brand new bakery in Union Market area that recently open. You have a wide variety of pastries and cakes as well as a good selection of coffee. Located on Morse St NE directly across from Aliteri (best Italian deli). This is self service for the pastries which means you get a tray, wax paper and tongs the. Pick as many pastries as you want. They also have cakes available. Plenty of seating area for those who may want to bring their laptop or read a book.

Had to stop by this new Tous Les Jours location. There's now a few options for great bread and pastries in this area. The space itself is very friendly for people meeting with friends or family, working there, or just grabbing a pastry or some bread. I like that this location is not within the Union Market itself, but to the side, as a standalone. It really cements itself into the area. The location is very clean, staff is very attentive and it seems like they are constantly checking what needs restocking. If you've never been to Tous Les Jours, the concept is easy, you get to pick a tray and serve yourself your own pastries, take it to the cashier and pay. There's a great assortment of pastries from the typical croissants, pain au chocolat, but there is also a stunning assortment of cakes, macarons and other pastries. I personally came in for one pastry in particular, the guava danish, but it's the type of place that will make it nearly impossible to pick just one thing. I ended up getting a garlic & cheese croissant and a chocolate pretzel as well, satisfying a chocolate craving and my taste for something savory as well. For taste, my favorite was the guava danish. Not overly sweet and had the perfect balance of guava jam and danish pastry. Pastry tasted fresh, was crispy, just what I was expecting. The chocolate pretzel was just fine, maybe something that looked better than it tasted but it may be due to the chocolate being a bit more on the dark chocolate side than a typical milk chocolate. It does list as rich, decadent, chocolate, so that may just not be my particular taste. But chocolate, almonds, pastry, how could I resist? The garlic & cheese croissant was good overall, but sort of on the sweeter side to me. I was expecting something a bit more savory. It wasn't bad, it was just different. While there, of course other things caught my eye, like the garlic cream cheese bread, the little honey cheese pancakes, and of course, the egg tarts. If you're in the area, I recommend you giving this place a try, especially if you're with a group of people looking for something different in a treat - something sweet, savory, a coffee or other beverage that they may offer. From the looks of it, this location is already quite successful. I wish them much success in the future.

If you are a big fan of Korean bakery items in a cute place, this is the place to go to in Union Market. With the grand opening on 4/17/2026, many customers visited this place. :) Tasty drinks - Checked! Desserts to kill your sweet tooth - Checked! Cool place to do your work or homework - Checked!

This location always has a wide variety of pastries and drinks available that taste great! The store itself is spacious and clean and is a great place to spend time with friends.

I already have a Tous Les Jours closer to home, but I wanted to check out this new location for the grand opening. They were celebrating their 200th store and offering a free cup with purchases over $30, which made the visit even better. It's near Union Market, not inside it, and was a little tricky to find at first. Once you know where it is, it's easy. There's free street parking nearby, and the Union Market lot is also convenient. The bakery is spacious, clean, and welcoming. Everyone was friendly, and the manager, Sammie, was especially helpful. She recommended a few pastries and pointed out some newer items. I picked up a mix of favorites and new things to try, including the cream croissant, chocolate croissant, spinach danish, croquette, iced honey lavender matcha, and strawberry cloud cake. My favorite savory item was the spinach danish, and my favorite sweet item was the strawberry cloud cake. Really nice experience overall, and I'd definitely stop by again when I'm in the area.

I'm so happy Tous les Jours opened a location near Union Market! It's quickly become one of my favorite spots for both pastries and coffee. Everything I've tried from the bakery has tasted fresh, from the flaky pastries to the soft breads, and it's hard to leave without picking up something extra. Their Matcha Latte is my go to drink. It's smooth, earthy, and perfectly balanced without being overly sweet. I also recently tried the Aerocano coffee, and it was a pleasant surprise. It's light, refreshing, and a great option when you're in the mood for something different from a traditional iced coffee. The bakery is bright, clean, and inviting, making it an easy stop whether you're grabbing breakfast, an afternoon pick me up, or a treat to take home. I'm excited to have such a reliable bakery and café in the neighborhood and will definitely be coming back often.

So glad I found this place!! The pastries were so yummy and the store was so cute. The pastries weren't too expensive, just what you would expect. 6 pastries cost me $25 dollars total.

Stopped in during my Union Market visit. This location is great with tons of natural light and plenty of seating. I noticed a few items that we do not have at the Annandale, VA location. Can't go wrong with TLJ.

The ambiance is really nice, with good natural lighting and a space to work. There are a variety of breads and other sweets, as well as coffees and teas. I got the matcha lemonade, which I was a bit disappointed by, because of its lack of flavor. I think it could've been sweeter.

Amazing tasty. Them donuts 10/10 i had the pistachio flavored and mango one both good. But their mango flavored stuff is much better. Had the strawberry croissant tasty as well. They are doing amazing things here. Service people are nice. And the place is so cute. You grab a tray, paper, and tongs and pick your sweet treat. And the price isn't bad at all

This bakery is so cute and trendy, a refreshing new cafe in Union market. The space is very clean and bright with so many pastries it's almost hard to choose just one! (I got three). I tried the strawberries and cream croissant which I would come back for alone and the spinach and cheese danish, which was the perfect savory snack. Behind the counter there are a variety of cakes and macron's. I tried the berry cloud cake which was light and delicious! I also absolutely loved the honey lavender iced matcha. Very very tasty. I can't wait to come back here and try the rest of the deserts!

I'm in search of the best croissant in DC, so I regret not getting the regular croissant on this visit, but the chocolate croissant gave me an idea of what to expect. Buttery, flaky, crispy, with just the perfect amount of sweetness. The typical chocolate croissant was my personal favorite. When we asked what the most popular items were, we were surprised it wasn't the more classic bakery items, but we enjoyed what we tried. We want to go back soon to try some other items as well. My friend got a coffee and also enjoyed that! This is the perfect place to stop by for a treat if you make it in time!

The interior is small but cozy- there's also some seats/tables outside. I ordered the savory scone and a chocolate croissant and they were both delicious. The chocolate in the middle was the perfect amount and wasn't too sweet either. For drinks, their syrups are also made in the house too! I ordered the Chai and at first I asked for half the syrup because I'm not a fan of drinks that are too sweet, but the person who took my order assured me that it's not too sweet to begin with and she was right! In our typical tradition, we cut everything into fourths and the whole family tries every pastry (everyone wins... ;). We thoroughly enjoyed both the savory and sweet (chocolate) options. Unfortunately, the location in DC has permanently closed and we were still very much in the mood for some pastries... my cousin who is French has previously sang the praises of this Lil French pastry shop, so of course I had to give it a try. I am so happy that I did because I truly believe that I have stumbled upon my new favorite pastry shop in the area! Upon walking in the smell of croissants and almonds and sweet, sweet delicacies filled my nostrils. I basically became the human version of Remy from ratatouille inhaling a delicious bouillabaisse simmering on the stove top for hours....seeing colors and flavors so bright and intoxicating I simply had to have it I walked in and my eyes were instantly attracted to so many delicious options from classics like Palmiers and Napoleons to some unique flavor combos I've never tried before combined like raspberry and pistachio. Of course, I decided to grab a little bit of everything to make an accurate assessment as a YELP Elite should!! My favorite hands-down was the Berry Millefuille. The way the pastry crumbled in my mouth with every bite, combined with the tart, fresh raspberries, and thick flavorful custard.... Was worth every penny. Honorable mentions go to the peach rosemary tart, which was so unique with the added botanical of rosemary with some fresh sweet peach slices on top and a very crunchy tart base. We all enjoyed everything we purchased! I also ordered one of their seasonal specialties, the rosemary latte with skim milk and iced. The flavors were so uniquely crafted to where you could taste everything but everything combined together for the perfect sip. The ladies who greeted us at the cash register were so patient, so kind, and so understanding of my excitement and difficulty deciding and they even helped me add on a little chocolate happy birthday rectangle to the pastry I purchased for my husband! Without a doubt, this is only the first of the many times I will visit the establishment. It was so authentic, so delicious and passed all the vibe checks even from the French side of the family. I was told I have to return when they first open to have a fresh croissant and a fresh baguette that is on par with what you would have in Paris. Even the items in the fridge were made in France and were delicious fruit nectars that were very unique- we purchased a passionfruit nectar that didn't even make it past the doors before we had completely inhaled it and purchased a lychee nectar for later. I am so excited to have learned about this establishment and believe me when I say you must run, not walk, to experience it for yourself.
