The ladies at the shop were so nice and sweet; they said they redid the requested writing on my cake a few times because they wanted it to be perfect, which it was! The cake itself was amazing. It was so soft and moist, and the strawberry frosting with coconut shavings was perfect. I loved the layers of the cake too, alternating white and red velvet. It was a super cute piggy shaped cake for my super cute birthday gal :D. Oh my!!! It was amazingly perfect. I absolutely loved my cake! I came in to find soooo many cakes to pick from. I had to pick between a super chocolatey cake, a bear cake, and this super simple yet pretty cake. I bought the super simple cake. The more I looked at it, the more I loved it! It had a mix of Chocolate/ White cake, and coffee cream. And little decorations of gold! Gold. I was so excited! So I bought my cake, and was given candles, and a little cutting tool. Not sure I will be back. With my normal bakery closed on my birthday, I decided to give this place a try. I called ahead to order the cake and was excited to try a new place - it was also a bonus for me to get out of the house and drive farther than the grocery store down the street. It was a 30-minute drive for me to get to this bakery. The bakery is located inside the shopping center of the Asiana market but you don't have to enter through the market to get to the bakery. There is a set of doors that leads right to the bakery from outside. It was not busy when I arrived - there was 1 other person making a purchase. I browsed the variety of pastries and ended up with a full tray because I just wanted to give everything a try. It was awkwardly quiet and not very welcoming. I walked up to the register and told them that I was also picking up a cake, rang up everything and made the drive home. My husband and I tried a bit of each pastry and enjoyed them so I had high hopes for the cake. Unfortunately, I was not impressed with the cake. We ordered the Cloud Cream Cake #2. It was a lot smaller than I anticipated and the strawberry layer was quite bare. I guess I am just used to other Asian bakeries with a lot more fruit in the filling. To top it off, I found a string of plastic in the cake. Not sure what it came from, not happy about it but glad it wasn't hair because that is what I originally thought it was. I bought and picked up this cake in store on 03/18 for my 25th birthday and I've purchased other cakes and pastries before from here and I loved them and they were moist and fresh but this cake was the exception. Unfortunately this cake seems to be a couple days old, the frosting was dried out and cracking. Upon removing the plastic film around the base of the cake the frosting peeled off with it, contrary to other cakes I've purchased from here. The actual bread or cake part is dried out as well the frosting left a weird texture in the roof of the mouth and tongue. For the price paid on such a small cake it should've been discounted and a date card/note should've been beside the cake to let customers know this might not be the freshest while still allowing it to be purchased at a discounted price...Of course unfortunately we can't see details like these unless seeing it close up and tasting it therefore in the casing it looked perfect but it 100% was a couple days old and that was an unpleasant birthday surprise. read more

Paris Baguette or Tous Les Jours? That's up for debate for some, but I think I still prefer the former. Tous Les Jours has a larger selection, given that it has a mich bigger space inside its adjoining asian market, but prices are visibly higher. There are some items, like the individual cheesecake, that both bakeries have, but one thing that stands out from TLJ is the spoonable cakes. Don't get me wrong, the strawberry cheesecake one is delicious, but at $6.50? That's a little pricey. As for the other items I tried, the sweet potato cream bread was delicious, but the blueberry cheesecake bun was a disappointment ... 90% empty. They are doing an okay job at maintaining social distancing within the bakery. I only wish they made their precautions clearer - sign of 5 people or less only in the bakery is by the entrance. However, this should be moved up to the front where the bakery case and cashiers are, since this is where it applied (as told by an employee). People in line were confused. read more

This location is consistent and reliable. I've never had a sad pastry, though I have occasionally eaten their pastries while sad. (They'll make you less sad. Promise.) Hubbie is obsessed with hot dog buns lol and they have the most variety here. It is a little pricier than other Asian bakeries but we find that the taste and freshness is superior here. I did an office run and grabbed : chocolate crossiant, almond crossiant, cheese strawberry danishes, sweet potato pie danishes, butter bread and more...they gave me a box and bill was like $15 bucks. Average range of items was 2 to 3.5. Can get French Macarons for $2 which is cheap. Try this place out. Would be a 5 but my second trip I feel like my almond crossiant was slightly burnt. Literally sobbing that I live in Tucson because I will only be able to get this on occasion. I'm genuinely shocked I haven't heard about this place through a foodie influencer on tik tok or Instagram because this is such an amazing spot. The strawberry cafe latte is amazing. What really stood out to us was the blueberry cloud cake. I don't say this lightly- that was the best cake I've ever had in my entire life (will probably have that cake at my wedding when the time comes). We tried a whole selection of their baked goods and nothing disappointed us. The ladies working the counter were so sweet and met us with a smile. Literally the only thing that someone could see as a downside is the location because there's very limited seating and it's within a market. But it's not even remotely something that bothers me because their product is so spectacular. Try the Korean bbq place next door too if you're looking for KBBQ AYCE at a wonderful price. Well, except for a few of yesterday's items. I asked a young woman behind the counter where all the saliva-inducing goodies were and she replied "We bring them out throughout the morning." Wait. Whaaat? You're open at 8 with nothing to sell? That's like walking into Bosa at 7:00 and they have no donuts! (And please God, let that never happen!) 1. The store is in the supermarket. It might be difficult to find this location because it is hidden in the korean supermarket. However, you just need to find Asiana Market on your Google map and then walk inside. When you walk inside, there is a huge beautiful sign that is very bright and catchy, Tours Les Jours. It is very difficult to miss this lovely sign. 2. There are several tables outside adjacent to the store. These tables are literally by the entrance/exit of the super market. 3. The pastries are absolutely delicious. It does have a Korean influence. When you walk inside the store, you will need to get a beautiful wooden tray and select your own pastries through the shelf and container. I ordered 2 pastries, which are chocolate croissant and another chocolate item. 4. The cashier was respectful and kind when I walk up with 2 items. 5. I believe the owner is this korean lady that oversees this establishment. You'll find her walking around, keeping things tidy and neat at her own pastry store. She dresses quite well with a strong presence. 6. Keep in mind that this store is one of many stores that share the same common area for dining. 7. The restroom is shared among other patrons for a number of stores. The restroom is at the back corner. If you look ahead with your head high, you'll notice the sign for restroom quite easily. 8. I was so happy to find Tous Les Jours inside of Asiana Market. I have been to Tous Les Jours's other locations in California and New Jersey before. They are consistently excellent. My favorite is Chestnut Pan Bread. Inside of a loaf of white bread, there are many chestnuts hidden. What I like this best is that the white bread itself is somewhat plain, but chestnuts make it very flavorful. Also, this is not too sweet. Would go and buy them again. read more

A wonderful Bakery located inside Asiana market! Tous Les Jours (pronounced "Tous Les Jours" but with a French accent) is a highly addictive bakery shop filled with delicious carbs. Are there any other kind of carbs? When friends Joyce W. and Michael W. brought over a sponge cake with the words "try this, you'll become an addict" of course I complied. It was a delicious feast of Sweet Potato numbness, delicate with every bite. Sponge and cream just melts and begs for more. Addicted! Thank you! Cakes & Breads & Pastries, oh my! There are so many different types of eats here. My suggestion is to try them all and see which you'll crave in the twilight hours. I would give this place 10 stars if Yelp would let me. Hands down the BEST bakery in Mesa area. I have now tried almost all of their cakes and let me tell you I have not been disappointed yet! Their cakes are light, just the perfect sweetness. You can eat a whole cake and you still won't feel like you did or atleast feel guilty. I have a long list - red bean bun, sweet potato donut, Kim chi croquette, pain aux raisin, sesame donut, hazelnut croissant, etc. My favorites are tiramisu and green tea croissant. It is not Italian tiramisu so please don't expect that style. The tiramisu here is not too sweet and not too creamy. I ate the whole small tray! The green tea cream filled green tea croissant is also delicious because of its creamy green tea combined with crunchy croissant in one bite. The hot honey citron is a delicious surprise for me. I never know that these two simple ingredients could crate a unique comfort drink for a cold day. Sometime when they had buy one get one free deal, I tend to buy many variety of pastries. read more

So so yummy!!! This place was recommended to me, and it certainly did not disappoint! It is located in the food court inside Asiana Market. They do screen everyone's temp with an iPad before entering, which I thought was pretty neat. Once you get to the bakery, they limit 5 customers at a time through the line. We waited for a bit, but we didn't mind. The selection was huge, and they have a range of bakery items, both sweet and savory. We opted for mini milk bread rolls, a chocolate croissant, and a regular croissant dipped in chocolate with almonds on it. We dug into the pastries immediately when we got back into the car, and I'm like drooling writing this review. Everything was so fresh and delicious!! As a avid Tous les Jour supporter of this Korean bakery chain, this was a life saver and familiar face in AZ. Located in the Asiana supermarket, it is inside a Korean owned complex of grocery, small biz shops, and eateries. This particular Tous les Jour is quite small in comparison to ones I've frequented in the East Coast but does the job with a variety of cakes and a handful of pastries. The baked goods is what was lacking in comparison to the bigger ones in NYC, which is understandable as it isn't as famous here. Otherwise they do sell the popular goods like bread loafs, croissants, hotdogs, and sesame balls. We got there at 4pm and they barely had anything, so I opted to my usual black sesame mochi ball and a hotdog. They didn't have my usual curry croquettes or twin egg bread. The drink selection has their usual hot and iced drinks; I'm happy they serve the misugaru latte here, hot and iced. They are open regular hours during COVID-19 times, and the employees are attentive and quick. Whenever I am feeling nostalgic and craving Korean (over Chinese) bakery foods, I'll definitely come here! Accepts cash and card. No dining in during COVID-19. Take out only. Bon appetit! read more

Cake is always good, but service is pathetic. There was a requirement for ordering cake 24 hours before, they change it to 48 hours. When I asked to reserve the available cake, they asked me to call the same day, i asked at what time i should call? They said any time when i like to. Called 8:30 AM, they asked me to call 11:00 AM. Called 11:00 AM, they said I need to walk in , I am ready to pay for the cake which is available now, and can pick up in evening, they refused with a reason that they are short staffed. Yes! Finally, a Tous les Jours has opened an Arizona store. If there is one food cuisine lacking in the US today, it is affordable French. Mind you, I'm not speaking about the high-end places. There, it's put you hand on the scale and everyone for themselves $$$$ expensive . But at the more moderate end, there is some hope. Besides Tous les Jours, a Korean interpretation of French. There are also La Madeleine, from the French Groupe le Duff, who also owns Mimi's btw and Belgium's Le Pain Quotidien, meaning the daily bread. Tous les Jours thinks of themselves as a "French-Asian Bakery, meaning of 'EVERYDAY', serving a unique selection of bakery goods and beverages made with the highest quality ingredients from South Korea (CJ Group). " But here is an obvious and simple Sitrep: All of them offer fantastic tasting food. That's it! The Chocolate Croissant tastes like a chocolate croissant, Palmier (Elephant Ears) taste like Palmier and Croque Monsieur, tastes like... wait for it ... a really good ham and cheese sandwich.
